2. SAFETY INFORMATION
Before using the trimmer , read and follow all warnings, cautions and
instructions in this manual.
NOTE: The following safety information is not intended to cover all possible conditions
and situations. this can happen. Read the entire user manual. Failure to follow
instructions and safety information can result in serious injury or death.
GENERAL SAFETY RULES
SAVE THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
WARNING: Do not use this trimmer until you have read this instruction manual and are
familiar with the safety, operation, and maintenance instructions.
WORK AREA SAFETY
- Keep the work area clean and well lit.
- Do not use power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
liquids, gases or fuel vapors. Power tools create sparks that can ignite fuel gases
or vapors.
- Keep children and bystanders away. All visitors and pets must be kept a safe
distance from the work area.
- Do not allow children or untrained persons to use this machine.
- Do not expose power tools to rain or moisture. If water gets into a power tool, it will
increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not use the unit in this case.
- Do not handle the plug or tool with wet hands.
- Never allow children to operate the equipment. Never allow adults to operate the
equipment without proper instruction.
- Always wear goggles and a protective mask.
- Clip long hair above shoulder level to prevent it from getting caught inmoving parts.

- Do not expose the machine to rain, store it indoors away from heat sources or
flammable substances.
- Do not operate in low light conditions.
- Keep all parts of your body away from any moving part of the machine.
- Wear long pants, safety boots and gloves. Avoid loose clothing and jewelry that can
get caught in moving parts of the machine.
- Do not force the machine.
- Do not use the equipment barefoot or with sandals or inappropriate footwear. Wear
protective footwear.
- Maintain a firm stance and balance when using the trimmer .
- Do not use the tool if the switch is not functional.
- Keep all bystanders, children and pets at least 50 meters away.
Do not use this unit when you are tired, ill, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs,
or medication.
- Keep all parts of your body away from moving parts and all hot surfaces of the tool.
- Check the work area before each use. Remove all objects such as stones, broken
glass, nails, wire or string that can be thrown or caught in the machine.
- Use only original spare parts and accessories from the manufacturer. Use of any
other part may create a hazard or cause damage to the product.
- Do not charge the battery tool in the rain or in a wet place. This rule will reduce the
risk of electric shock.
- Use the tool for domestic use only.
- Battery powered tools must not be plugged into an electrical outlet; so they are
always in working condition. Be aware of potential hazards when not using your
cordless tool or when changing accessories. Following this rule will reduce the risk
of electric shock, fire or serious personal injury.
- Disconnect the battery before servicing or cleaning the machine.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire, the cells may explode. Consult local regulations
for possible special disposal instructions.
Do not open or damage batteries. The released electrolyte is corrosive and can
cause skin and eye irritation. May be toxic if swallowed.

USE AND MAINTENANCE

Familiarize yourself with the tool. Read the manual carefully, learn about its applications
and limitations, and specific potential hazards associated with this machine.
Check for misaligned or jammed moving parts, broken parts, and any other defects that
could affect the operation of the tool. If damaged, repair the power tool before using it.
Do not force the power tool. Use the power tool correctly for your application.
Disconnect the battery from the power tool before making adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing power tools.
Check the operation of the tool before using it.
Do not use the tool if it does not have a legible warning label.
Use the power tool in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working
conditions. Using the power tool for operations other than those intended could result in
a hazardous situation.
Battery safety rules
Battery powered tools must not be plugged into an electrical outlet; therefore, they are
always in working order. Following this rule will reduce the risk of electric shock, fire or
serious personal injury.
WARNING: When transporting or servicing the unit, always disconnect the battery.
SPECIFIC TRIMMER SAFETY STANDARDS.
- Use the tool only in daylight or good artificial light.
- When used, the trimmer line can throw stones, pieces of metal and other objects at high
speed. The trimmer and its guard are designed to reduce the hazard. However, the
following special precautions should be taken: ENSURE that other people and pets are
at least 30 meters away.

- Use only original RURIS cutting wire. Do not use other cutting accessories, for example
metal wire. Installing other autocutters on this tool can result in serious personal injury.
- Never use the tool without the projection mounted. Make sure it is in good condition.
- Check for damaged parts. Before continuingto use the tool, any guard or otherdamaged
part should be carefully inspected to determine if it will function properly and perform the
function for which it was designed.
Check alignment of moving parts, connection of parts, tightness of parts, mounting, and
any other condition that may affect tool operation. A guard or other part that is damaged
must be properly repaired or replaced by an authorized RURIS service center to avoid
the risk of personal injury.
- Never use blades, wire or ropes. The tool is designed to be used with autocut only .
Using any other accessory will increase the risk of injury.
- Keep the vents clean and free of debris to prevent the engine from overheating. Clean
after each use.
- When not in use, the trimmer must be stored indoors, in a dry place, away from heat
sources or flammable substances.

The battery benefits from the "α UP- Innovation RURIS" function. This function
helps the battery when it reaches the critical discharge threshold. Ruris came up
with an innovation in the system of cells inside the battery, through which the

battery can be recharged after a long period of time in which it has been
discharged. Thus, RURIS users can enjoy the reliability and innovation of RURIS.
After storage, charging is recommended at an interval of 6 months - 1 year

5. INSTALLATION GUIDE
If any parts are damaged or missing, do not use the product until the parts are replaced.
Use of this product with damaged or missing parts may result in serious personal injury.
WARNING:
Do not attempt to modify this product or create accessories not recommended for use
with this product. Any such constitutes misuse and may result in possible serious
personal injury.

Connecting the upper shaft and the telescopic shaft
Align the arrow on the locking sleeve with the gap, insert the telescopic shaft (a) into the
upper shaft (b) (See fig.2).
Then use the hex key (c) to tighten the screw (d) (See fig.3).
Installation of the protection and the wheel.
Insert the guide wire into the black groove of the motor housing. Note the direction of the
guide wire (See fig.4 and fig.5).
Follow the direction of the arrow on the guard, then fix the guard to the motor housing
with the supplied screw. (see fig.6 and fig.7)

Insert the wheel into the black slot in the motor housing (see fig. 8) , making sure it is
firmly fixed in the groove. And push the guide wire so that it does not come out.
6. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING: Read and fully understand all instructions andsafety information before using
the trimmer. Failure to do so may cause serious injury. Do not use this tool if you have
any doubts or questions about its safe operation.
Start / stop
- Connect the battery.
- To start the trimmer, press the lock button at the same
time press the trigger switch.
(See figure 9)
- To stop, release the trigger.
WARNING:
The trimmer continues to run for approximately 3 seconds after it has been turned off.
Allow the engine to stop completely before putting the tool down.

ADJUSTMENTS
WARNING: Disconnect battery before making adjustments.
CUTTING HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
WARNING: Do not attempt to adjust the telescopic
shaft while the cutting line is rotating.
Unscrew the shaft locking sleeve and adjust the length
of the telescopic shaft to the most comfortable
operating position. Turn the locking sleeve
counterclockwiseto lock the shaft in place (see fig.10).
FRONT HANDLE ADJUSTMENT
WARNING: Disconnect battery before making adjustments.
Firmly press the adjustment button on the front handle, push the front handle down until
you get the desired angle. Then release the adjustment knob.
There are 8 angles, the handle must be adjusted so that the
front arm is straight when the trimmer is in the working
position.
ENGINE HOUSING ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
Press the angle adjustment button on the motor housing,
push the shaft back and forth to adjust the motor housing (7
positions).
EDGE TRIM ADJUSTMENT
Change the position of the handle as in figure 13. Press the
function switch on the handle and hold the telescopic shaft
firmly with one hand and turn the rear handle clockwise with
the other hand.

WARNING: Make sure the work area is free of stones, debris
or other foreign objects.
1- Lower the guard to prevent the housing from contacting an
object such as a tree trunk or wall and damaging the cutting
reel.
2- Start the mower before making contact with the grass.
3- Cut the grass by moving the trimmer from right to left and
continue slowly, keeping the machine tilted at an angle of
about 30º.
4- Tall grass must be cut in layers always starting from the
top. Do not mow wet grass.
5- Be careful of recoil in case of impact with hard objects.
Note: Periodically clean the grass between the coil ( autocut ) and the edge of the
protection to prevent damage to the machine.
AUTOCUT ADJUSTMENT AND REPLACEMENT.
WARNING: Disconnect the battery from the tool before
making any adjustments. Use only original RURIS thread
spools ( autocut ).
To replace the autocut , press the two clips on the coil cover
and gently remove it. Remove the old coil and replace it with
a new one.
Pass the thread through the hole (f) of the bobbin. Push the spool through the spindle.
Make sure it seats completely on the shaft. The line will automatically exit when you
restart the tool.
Press the two clips on the coil cover and put it back. Make sure the two clips fit into the
two holes. The cap must fit perfectly on the coil.

7. MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the battery before adjusting, inspecting or cleaning the trimmer .
WARNING: Use only identical and original RURIS spare parts. Use of any other part may
create a hazard or cause damage to the product.
NOTE: Clean the housing and plastic components with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use
solvents or strong detergents on the housing or plastic components. Certain household
cleaning products can cause damage and pose a risk of electric shock.
GENERAL INSPECTION
Periodically check that all fixing screws are tight. They can loosen and loosen over time.
STORAGE
Store it in a well-ventilated place, out of the sun, out of the reach of children.
At the end of the season, perform a general cleaning and a thorough inspection of the
gear.
ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE BATTERY DISPOSAL
If the battery breaks or breaks, whether it is leaking or not, please do not recharge or use
it.
Take the batteries to a local recycling and/or disposal center that is certified for disposal.
Do not dispose of electrical equipment, industrial electronics and
components in household waste! Information on WEEE. Considering
the provisions of GEO 195/2005 - regarding environmental protection
and GEO 5/2015. Consumers will consider the following indications for
handing over electrical waste, specified below:
