5 Properties
The TOPAS light is a soft surface lamp which has been developed
for professionals. It is based on the latest lighting technology related
to fluorescent tubes.
The new fluorescent tube arrangement enables a compact, easy-to-
use and very stable construction with unequalled even light radiation
with highest light output and optimal cooling of the tubes.
The newly developed electronics work with a frequency of 35 kHz
and guarantee absolutely flicker- and interference-free operation,
and a linear dimming range of 10-100%.
Due to their large radiating surface and the soft and even light of the
luminaires, double shadow and reflections are reduced to a
minimum. Therefore illumination can be carried out much easier and
faster.
This is why TOPAS lights are ideal for illuminating shiny and strongly
reflecting objects.
Due to the so-called ‘cool light’there is no danger of overheating or
fire, facilitating problem-free operation in locations featuring original
décor and in valuable historical locations.
The running costs are very low due to the minimal power
consumption and long burning time of the fluorescent tubes.
Alternatively, artificial light and daylight tubes can be installed and
can be changed over very quickly. In addition, standard general-
purpose tubes can be used e.g. to complement existing fluorescent
room illumination with matching colored lights.
The lights can also be easily adapted to the various attachment
mounts (ball head, manual yoke or pole-operated yoke).

local regulations.
ÕCheck all parts for damage. If damage is discovered, do not use
the light.
6.2 Re-packing, transport and storage
ÕRepack the light for storage purposes between periods of use, or
for transport.
ÕUse suitable packaging material in order to securely pack the
TOPAS light.
ÕBe careful not to stretch or kink the cable during packing.
