death.
•Do not use this bag if any part of the mounting system has deteriorated, loosened or is beginning
to fail. If you have any doubts as to the security of bag’s installation, stop using it.
•After every stop check the bag to be certain that it did not shift while riding and verify that the
straps will not contact or interfere with any part of the drivetrain, suspension, brakes or wheels.
•Do not exceed 10 pounds of loaded weight into the bag for part numbers 3515-0172 & 3515-0173

before operating the motorcycle.
•Always remove or stow all shoulder and backpack straps before attaching bag to motorcycle.
•DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THESE ITEMS IF....you do not understand these instructions...you

Motorcycling is an inherently dangerous activity. Installation of any accessory, including this Sissybar bag
can add to the danger if it is not installed safely. You must install this product in a manner in which it will
not contact any part of the drive train, suspension or steering, or interfere with any operation of the
motorcycle. If you do not know how to do this, or have any doubts as to your ability, please see a qualified
motorcycle mechanic.
To avoid injury, install while engine is cold.
•Park the motorcycle on a hard, level surface and turn off the ignition before installation or
securing any part of this product or items that might be attached to this product.
•DO NOT connect any mounting straps or any additional securing straps to flexible or moving
parts (rubber mounted turn signals, swing arm, shocks, wheels etc.)
•You must tuck away, tie, or cut/shorten all loose mounting straps BEFORE you ride the
motorcycle.

impact on your motorcycle.

•Strong, nylon meshing zipper teeth with chrome sliders equipped with large pulls for easy use
with a gloved hand
•High visibility yellow, reflective rain cover with locking cinch cord included
MAIN BAG (3515-0171, 3515-0172, 3515-0173)
1. Refer to diagram below. Use the included mounting rods to adjust the width of the Crus’n Deluxe
Sissybar bag mounting strap to fit snugly around your bike's sissy bar pad. The mounting rods
can be inserted to make the strap narrow or wide. You can also insert the rods at an angle if your
sissy bar pad is not rectangular. If you have a very large Sissybar pad, a Jumbo Pad Extension
Mount has been provided. This mounts onto the mounting rods and is used in lieu of the attached
mounting strap.
2. Make sure the mounting rods are fully inserted, through the upper mounting loops and solidly into
the lower mounting loops. Once in place, tightly close the hook and loop retention flaps that are
above each set of upper mounting loops.

3. The Sissybar yoke provides vertical support for Sissybar’ s that do not have a rack. To use this
option simply slide the yoke inside the mounting strap and mate the hook and loop at the desired
height. (*note: bag should not rest on any moving or painted surfaces).
4. Mount the yoke security strap by attaching the clip to the yoke D-ring located at the end of the
yoke and weaving it as shown through the yoke ladder lock. Snug but do not over tighten.
5. Each bag also has two side mounted hold down straps, one located on either side of the bag. The
straps connect to the D-rings which are also used for the back pack straps. These are designed
to hold the bag tight to the rack or seat. The straps must clip into the corresponding D-rings on
each side of the bag, and wrap around a secure, solid part of the motorcycle like a saddlebag
support, frame rail, etc. Once all of the straps are connected, the bag should not move around
while the motorcycle is operating.
TOP ROLL BAG (3515-0171 only)
1. Place top roll bag on top of main bag.
2. Run nylon straps under flap on top of bag next to handle. Once strap is in place, tightly close the
hook and loop flap.
3. Fasten clip to D-rings on front of bag.
4. Thread other end of strap through ladder lock as shown below and tighten strap.
INSTALLING STRAPS TO LADDER LOCKS (Yoke Security Strap & Roll Bag)
ADJUSTABLE INTERNAL SHELF (3515-0171 only)
Internal shelf adjusts by separating the movable hook and loop flaps from the bag's body and re-placing
them so that shelf is level and where you need it.
BACKPACK STRAPS (3515-0171 only)
Clip one backpack strap end to a D-ring located on the lower rear corner of your bag. Feed the strap thru
the D-ring located at the top center of the rear of the bag, and then clip the other end of the strap to the
other lower D-ring.

SHOULDER STRAP
Sissybar bags 3515-0172 & 3515-0173 and the top roll bag for 3515-0171 are designed with an optional
shoulder strap (included). To use attach clip one end to the D-ring mounted above the side pocket.
Repeat process on the opposite side. Adjust length as needed.
RAIN COVER
Carefully place the rain cover over the bag so the cinching cord is around the base of the luggage. Once
the cover is in place, cinch it tight at the base by pulling on the cord and locking it in place with the barrel-
shaped cord lock.
•Take extra care when installing the rain cover so it will not come loose or interfere with the
motorcycle’s controls, suspension, wheels or other components. Do not operate your motorcycle
unless you are certain the rain cover is properly secured.
•Failure to install any of these accessories properly may allow portions of a bag or its mounting
straps to come into contact with the motorcycle’s moving parts or controls. It is vital that you verify
that neither the accessory, nor any of its parts touch, or interfere with, other motorcycle
components while the steering and suspension moves through its entire range of motion.
•Make sure that accessory or its mounting straps or hardware cannot come into contact with the
exhaust or any other component of the motorcycle, as other vehicle components may be
damaged by contact with this accessory.
•It is your responsibility to make sure the installation of this accessory does not create an unsafe
or illegal condition. Check to be sure that all lights and safety reflectors are visible once your
accessory bag is in place. If the bag blocks any side reflectors, place reflectors on the exterior
sides of the bags (reflectors with self-adhesive backing are available from motorcycle or
automobile supply stores).
•After 50 miles (80 kilometers) of riding, recheck the accessory bags and the mounting straps to
make sure that they are still tight and secure. Inspect the bags and their mounting hardware more
often if you are riding your motorcycle in wet or rough conditions. Inspect the accessory and
related hardware before and during each ride. A loose accessory and/or mounting hardware can
interfere with the vehicle’s operation and cause an unsafe riding condition.
