Descaling
To keep your machine running in peak condition, we recommend descaling at least once every 3
months. For more detailed instructions on descaling your machine, please refer to the user manual.
1. Start with the machine turned off.
2. Fill the water tank with the descaling solution.(1 packet Saeco descaling solution to 4 cups water.)
3. Turn on the machine.
4. Run approximately 2 cups of solution through the steam/hot water wand.
5. Turn machine off and let the machine sit for 15 minutes.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the water tank is empty.
7. Rinse the water tank thoroughly and rise the circuits of the machine by running two tanks
of fresh water through the steam/hot water wand.

Press this button to start brewing coffee. Press once for one cup, twice for
two cups. To stop brewing early, press the coffee button again.
HHoottWWaatteerrBBuuttttoonn
Press this button to select the hot water or steam function. When the light is
illuminated, the hot water function is selected. When the light is not illuminated,
the steam function is selected.
OOppttiiDDoosseeBBuuttttoonn
Press this button to control the amount of coffee that is ground for each
individual cup. It adjusts from 7-10.5 grams of ground beans per brewing
cycle.
UUsseeddGGrroouunnddssCCoonnttaaiinneerrLLiigghhtt
This light indicates that the used grounds container needs to be emptied.
This must be done while the machine is on.
RReeaaddyyLLiigghhtt
This light indicates that the machine warning up or ready to use. When the
light is on and flashing, the machines is warming up. When the light is on
steady, the machine is ready to use.
AAllaarrmmLLiigghhtt
This light indicates a machine warning. It may mean that the water tank or
brew group are not inserted correctly, or the machine is out of beans. Read
page 13 of the user manual for full descriptions of alarm light.
DDeessccaalliinnggLLiigghhtt
When this light is on and flashing, the machine needs to be descaled. Please
read the user manual for full instructions on descaling.
