INTRODUCTION
WIFI
This manual explains how to set up your Trong with our free Trong
Mobile App. This app allows you to access yourTrong recording
device via a WiFi signal provided by the device.
1. To Locate theTrong App, select the App Store in your phone, and
search "Trong".
2. The next step is connecting your phone to the Trong device via WiFi.
1) Open your phone WiFi settings in your phone. If theTrong has
power, it will send a Wi Signal.
2) Select the Wi Hotspot labeled "Trong".
3) You will be prompted to enter a WiFi password. Password:

Here is an example showing how the TrongWi signal will appear in
iOS (This will also work with AndroidWi Setup):

3. Format your SD cards. Navigate to "Settings" in the app. Next
click on "Control."
4. If you are using 1 SD Card, select "Format SD 1".

5. Once SD Card 1 is selected, click "OK" to conrm formatting.
If you have two SD cards, repeat for SD Card 2.
6. To connect to your Trong Device remotely using a 3G/4G SIM Card,
you'll need to set up your Device via the Trong App.
1) Go to Settings Tab.
2) Select "Network Settings"
3) On next page, select "3G/4G Network"

7. In 3G/4G Network menu, select "APN".
An APN is a code that identies the Sim Card network. This is
based on the cell/data carrier. T-mobile is set as default. Input the
appropriate APN for your Sim Card carrier.
At the time of creating this manual, carrier APNs are as follows:
T-Mobile: "fast.t-mobile.com"
AT&T: "phone" or "broadband"
Verizon: "vzwinternet"
8. Now that your APN is set, you'll have to make sure that you're
connecting to the correct server, the RVS server.
Return to "Network Settings" Menu.
Go to "Server Settings"
conrm server is correct: Dvr.Mobilemulelive.com

ALARM TYPES
9. To set an Alarm/Trigger, navigate to Alarm Settings from Settings Tab. 10. There are three alarm types:
• Speed - Alarm that is triggered when the speed of the vehicle
exceeds the set limit. Default Speed source is GPS Antenna.
• I/O - Alarm that is triggered when an I/O sensor wire receives
power (only available with Extender Harness) (p.14)
• G-Sensor - Alarm that is triggered when movement/G-force
exceeds a certain limit. This is useful for hard stops and sharp turns,
as well as collisions.

Speed Source: How your Trong detects speed.
Leave "GPS" selected as default.
Speed Unit: Select MPH or KMH
GPS Mode: Default setting and should not be changed
Alarm Type: Parking/Low Speed/High Speed
Open: Activates Alarm
Limit: An alarm is triggered when this speed is exceeded
Hold: Length in seconds sensor must be triggered before an event occurs
Delay: How long the trigger period is registered as one trigger event
REC Upload: Send footage to server
Photograph: (Checkbox) Determines which cameras take a snapshot
upon triggering (if any)
Record Locked: (Checkbox) Protects cameras footage upon triggering
(if any)

I/0-1: Choose which I/O sensor to use for setup
Alarm Type: Urgent/Front Door/Back Door/etc
Trigger Mode: Alarm Urgency (Voltage Level)
Hold: Length in seconds sensor must be triggered it is indicated as an
event
Delay: Length in seconds trigger period is registered as one trigger event
Photograph: (Checkbox) Determines which cameras take a snapshot
upon triggering (if any)
Record Locked: (Checkbox) Protects cameras footage upon triggering
(if any)

13. G-Sensor
Choose which axis that sensor should read to detect movement/
transform coordinates.
X: Horizontal / Y: Vertical / Z: Forward/Backward
Choose the limit (sensitivity) for which the event is triggered via number
value.
The higher the value, the higher the sensitivity. Experiment for desired
sensitivity, as this setting is your preference.
Open: Activate Axis

1. My camera looks backwards, how do I reverse the image?
The "Mirror" Function allows you to ip the camera image vertically
and horizontally.
