PLEASE READ IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
•When using any high pressure systems/cylinders please take extra care to ensure all fittings are tight before
operation, to avoid potential injury or damage to the system.
•Please avoid dropping the regulator on the ground, or dragging the hose and regulator assembly around the
floor, to prevent any damage occurring. This can also potentially cause grit or foreign bodies to get into the
screw threads and ‘O’ rings, which could cause potential damage.
•Please avoid using the hose assembly to lift the compressed air cylinder, or taking the weight of the cylinder.
•Please check that the DIN screw thread fitting is tight and not loose, by using the appropriate size Allen key.
See illustration:
•This should be checked on a regular basis to ensure the safety of the system. If in any doubt, please return to
Safequip Service Centre for a full inspection and calibration. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, SHOULD ANY
ATTEMPT BE MADE TO ADJUST OR LOOSEN ANY OF THE FITTINGS ON THE REGULATOR BODY, UNLESS
SPECIFICALLY TRAINED TO DO SO.
•IMPORTANT: To tighten and loosen the regulator from the cylinder, ONLY USE THE HAND WHEEL & NOT
THE REGULATOR BODY/HOSE TO EITHER TIGHTEN OR LOOSEN THE REGULATOR FROM THE COMPRESSED
AIR CYLINDER.
•IMPORTANT: When tightening or loosening the valve inflation fitting, ONLY USE THE HAND WHEEL FOR THIS
PURPOSE.
•In extreme cold weather, or when the cylinder becomes empty, it is likely that the regulator or inflation valve
fitting will possibly frost up, so it is good practice to use gloves for this purpose.
•After use please rinse off if necessary, especially if used in a salt water environment. This will increase the
lifespan of the system.
•Following use, please replace the plastic dust cap on the regulator after you have made sure there is no grit
or foreign bodies that could potentially damage the screw thread or ‘O’ ring.
