BEFORE YOU START
You should fully charge your DVR before rst
use.
Plug in included USB cable. You can then
connect it directly to USB port on computer
or connect it to wass adapter and plug to wall
outlet for faster charging. Please note that
you can also connect this to your automobile
charger to charge it in the car.
Carefully insert the USB cable as shown, with

If SD card not in, or you took it out and need to re-insert, please refer to photo below:
Insert with gold bars facing up. Card should CLICK in and CLICK out. Please do not FORCE
IN or out.

TIME STAMP
Aer charging, the next step is to adjust the time stamp clock. is is the time stamp that is
embedded on all videos recorded on this ower DVR.
Start by connecting the DATA USB cable to ower THEN to USB PORT on your computer.
Please make sure you connect directly to computer and not through USB interfaces.
Aer connecting, you will notice a window or two will pop up. Please close thhem. We will
access the les a dierent way. See below.
1. Go to START MENU > COMPUTER. en nd the DVD Drive (E:). Note that the letter
aer DVD DRive may be dierent on your computer.
2. Click on the drive link and to the right you should see the followng les (below)
3. DOUBLE-CLICK on Disktools.exe

options before nally clicking ADJUST DEVICE to conrm time.

PASSWORD
You can opt to set password or leave as is. Note that once you set password, YOU MUST
REMEMBER IT. ere is no way to break into your data. So set it only if you think it is necessary
and you will not forget it!

VIDEO RECORDING
is unit records amazing HD video. Begin as follows:
1. Turn unit by pressing and holding ON/OFF button until indicator light turns on. Release.
2. Indicator light will blink briey and settle on a steady red.
3. Quckly (but rmly) press and release ON/OFF button. In a few seconds indicator light will
start to blink slowly. You are now recording video!
4. Stop recording by pressing and releasing ON/OFF button. Indicator light will stop blinking
and settle on a steady RED.

AUDIO ONLY RECORDING
is unit can record audio only. is will give you a longer battery and memory time. Proceed
as follows:
1. Turn unit on to standby mode (steady red) (see instructions above).
2 Press the mode button once. Indicator light will change to STEADY BLUE. You are now in
VOICE RECORDING STANDBY MODE.
3. Press and release ON/OFF button. Blue light will start blinking slowly. You are not in AUDIO
ONLY recording.
4. STOP audio recording by pressing and releasing ON/OF button. Repeat as necessary.

PHOTO
is unit can take still photos. Proceed as follows:
1. Turn unit on to standby mode (steady red) (see instructions above).
2 Press the mode button twice, slowly. On the second press the indicator light will change to
STEADY RED/BLUE. You are now in PHOTO STANDBY MODE.
3. Press and release ON/OFF button. REd/Blue light will blink and return to RED/BLUE
standby. You just took a picture. Repeat as necessary
MOTION ACTIVATED RECORD-
VERY IMPORTANT: To get to MOTION DETECTION MODE, you MUST
plug in power cable to port on DVR and the other part to wall or computer (or car charger).
Meaning is should be plugged in!
1. Plug in Charging USB cable.
2 Turn unit on to STANDBY MODE (steady GREEN, when plugged in to power)
3. Press MODE button twice until you are at a BLUE/RED light. You are now in MOTION
DETECTION STANDBY MODE
4. Press ON/OFF button. Light will start blinking. You are now recording in motion detection
mode.
5. To stop recording press ON/OFF button to return to standby. Repeat as necessary.

PLAYBACK
We suggest that you take out the SD card from the ower DVR and stick it into an SD card
adapter to play back!
Remove SD card bu PUSHING IN and RELEASING. Card will click out so that you can hold it
with ngers and pull out. DO NOT FORCE IT IN OR OUT!!!

Your Windows PC or Mac has built-in soware that will play most of the les created by devices
like yours. However, if you are having problems playing your les, or need more options, please
download and try these programs.
