4032*3024 resolution photos. is unit also records in the dark using the embedded IR lights in
Night Vision mode.
Memory capacity is about 12 minutes per 1GB of storage. Battery life runs about 90
minutes on a full charge.

BEFORE YOU START - CHARGING & TIME
You will rst need to charge your DVR and to set time. We highly recommend that you set
the time stamp aer charging unit, so that your recordings are accurately timed from the get
go.
You will need to download the time stamp from the same section where you got this
manual, TECH SUPPORT tab, to get the time le. You will nd the latest manual and the
time.txt le.
VIBRATIONS: is unit vibrates each time a button is pressed and the command is
accepted.

SETTING TIME STAMP
1. Plug in the keychain DVR into your computers USB port.
2. Locate removable Disk. To to START menu > COMPUTER
3. Right-click in space below DCIM and select NEW>TEXT DOCUMENT

SETTING TIME STAMP continued
change name to TIMERSET.
(Note: Name must be CAPITALIZED!)
4. Open the text document and type in
the current time and date. THE FORMAT
MUST BE EXACT!
Type in the following format:

If you dont want time stamp change the Y
to N
5. Aer changing time, go to FILE, SAVE and
close out of your text editor and other windows
and unplug your device from computer.
6.When you turn on your DVR the next time,
the time stamp should be absorbed and updated.
7. We recommend you do a test video to ensure
the time stamp change was successful!

RECORDING VIDEO
(NOTE: Remove concealment cover so that you can see the indicator light while you get unit ready
and see the indicator light. )
1. Press and hold ON/OFF button for about 3 seconds and release. Light will come on, then vibrate
and settle on a STEADY RED. You are now in STANDBY MODE.
2. Press and release ON/OFF button again. Red light will begin to blink slowly. You are now
recording video. Light will blink for the duration of video recording. You can now put back the
concelament cover to hide the blinking light.
3. To stop recording, press and release ON/OFF button again. Blinking light will return to steady
read and the DVR will virate once to conrm your instruction.
NOTE: If at any point you are not sure which mode you are in, just turn unit o (HOLD and press
ON/OFF button for about 5 seconds and release), then start over!

RECORDING VIDEO WHILE PLUGGED IN
is is one of those few units that will work while plugged in to a power source. is means
recording time is innite, as long as your memory capacity is there.
ere is a small step you need to take to get it into working mode while plugged in.
1. Make sure unit is turned OFF before plugging in.
2. Plug in USB to device then to computer USB port or to USB port on wall outlet
3. Right aer plugging in to USB port, red indicator light will turn on and start blinking. is
is the charging blinking light.
4. Press and HOLD the MODE button for about 3 seconds and release. Unit will vibrate and
the red light will become a STEADY RED. You are now in STANDBY MODE.
5. Proceed to operate unit normally in all the modes!

Use the TV OUT cable as a viewer to see images being streamed live from your DVR.

TAKING PHOTOS
1. Turn unit on to standby position (steady red)
2. Press MODE button once. Indicator light (and one vibration) will be steady blue
3. To take one picture, jsut press the ON/OFF button. e blue light will blink ONCE and
return to steady blue. You just took a picture
4. Repeat as necessary
4. Move away from picture mode to other modes by pressing the MODE button and getting
the appropriate indicator light.
NOTE: If at any point you are not sure which mode you are in, just turn unit o (HOLD and
press ON/OFF button for about 5 seconds and release), then start over!

RECORDING AUDIO ONLY
1. Turn unit on to standby mode
2. Press MODE button ONCE, THEN AGAIN. Unit will now be in a RED/BLUE standby mode
(you will need to look carefully to also see the blue light. At a glance the light looks like red/or-
ange)
3. Press ON/OFF button once and the indicator light should blink RED/BLUE. You are now in
AUDIO ONLY recording mode.
4. To stop audio recording, press ON/OFF button once. Unit will vibrate once and light will re-
turn to RED/BLUE. Repeat as necessary.
