1.2 Dust and Silica Warning
Dust and Silica Warning
Grinding/cutting/drilling of masonry, concrete, metal and other materials can generate dust, mists
and fumes containing chemicals known to cause serious or fatal injury or illness, such as
respiratory disease, cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. If you are unfamiliar with
the risks associated with the particular process and/or material being cut or the composition of the
tool being used, review the material safety data sheet and/or consult your employer, the material
manufacturer/supplier, governmental agencies such as OSHA and NIOSH and other sources on
hazardous materials and make certain to comply with all product warnings and instructions for the
safe and effective use of the material being cut. California and some other authorities, for
instance, have published lists of substances known to cause cancer, reproductive toxicity, or
other harmful effects.
Control dust, mist and fumes at the source where possible. In this regard use good work
practices and follow the recommendations of the manufacturer/supplier, OSHA/NIOSH, and
occupational and trade associations. Water should be used for dust suppression when wet
cutting is feasible. When the hazards from inhalation of dust, mists and fumes cannot be
eliminated through engineering controls such as vacuum and/or water mist, the operator and any
bystanders should always wear a respirator approved by NIOSH/MSHA for the material being cut.

4. TRANSPORT AND STORING
Take the following measures in order to transport and store the Trolley securely.
4.1Securing for transport
Before transporting the machine:
Remove the blade.
Raise the cutting head to its highest position using the lever.
4.2Transport procedure
6

13
The machine can be moved on a flat surface using its wheels. Do not lift this machine using a
crane as no part of the machine is designed to hold up the Trolley’s weight.
5 OPERATING THE TROLLEY
5.1 Work Site
Before you start working, please check the following:
Remove from the site anything, which might interfere with the working procedure.
Make sure the site is sufficiently well lit.
Make sure you have a continual adequate view of the working area so you can intervene in
the working process at any time.
Keep other staff out of the area, so you can work safely.
5.2 Cutting method
In this section, you can find instructions to make a straight cut at the desired depth.
5.2.1 Preparing your cut
Before starting the machine,
Read and understand all instructions in this manual and the manual of your High Speed Saw.
For best preformanc DO NOT cut more than 1/2” (12.7mm) per cutting pass with any make or
model of High Speed Saw.
Use all approperate and approved PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including: Eye,
Hearing, and Head Protection. Insure that the operator is wearing the appropriate work
clothing with no lose items.
Draw a line on the floor over the cutting length.
Make sure you have filled the engine tank with fuel.
Make sure you have mounted the correct blade as recommended by the manufacturer for the
material being cut and for the cutting method wet or dry cutting.
Make sure that the flanges securely hold the Diamond Blade.
Make sure that the blade is not touching the floor before starting.
Bring the handle in a comfortable position.
Roll the machine until the blade is over the line.
5.2.2 Cutting the floor
Properly secure the High Speed Saw to the SPEEDY CART
Verify that ALL hardware is properly tightened and that the machine and SPEEDY CART are
in good operating condition.
Verify that the Throttle control is functioning properly.

14
Verify that the High Speed Saw fuel tank is properly filled with the correct type of fuel and
correct fuel mix.
Now you can now start the engine and make your cut.
In order to reach the desired cutting depth, place your foot on the foot rest (1) and pull the
Depth Locking Lever (2) toward you. Be careful, the machine can now dive freely. Hold the
handlebar firmly to prevent the SPEEDY CART from moving. NOTE: With any High Speed
Saw Step Cut only at depths of 1/2” (12.7mm) per cutting pass. Cutting deeper will result in
slower cutting speeds, cuts that are not straight, stalling of the High Speed Saw engine,
burning or damage to belts, shorter blade life, overheating of the blade, blade climb which will
result in inconsistant cutting depths, and possible damage to the machine – blade – or
SPEEDY CART.
Insure that the machine is running at FULL speed, and lower the machine until the desired
cutting depth is reached. NOTE: It is recommended to step cut at no more than 1/2”
(12.7mm) per cutting pass with any make or model of High Speed Saw. Cutting deeper can
overload any High Speed Saw motor causing the High Speed Saw to stall in the cut and result
in damage to the Drive Belts and or the Diamond Blade – this rule applies to ALL High Speed
Saws and ALL Blades regardless of make, model, or manufacturer.
Once the depth is reached, move Depth Locking Lever forward.
Push the machine forward with steady and gentle pressure and follow the line.
At the finish of the cut, raise the blade out of the cut, shut-off the water and switch off the
engine.
Never transport the saw with the engine running.
