1. Choose a place in reach of a socket when placing the treadmill.
2. Always connect the appliance to a socket with a grounded circuit and no other appliances connected to it.
It is recommended not to use any extension cords.
3. A faulty grounding of the appliance can cause the risk of electrical shocks. Ask a qualified electrician to

provided with the appliance if it is not compatible with your socket. Ask a qualified electrician to install a
suitable socket.

5. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
GETTING STARTED
5.1 TURN POWER ON
Put the power cord into the electrical outlet. Flip this switch to the “ON” position. The screen will shine.
5.2 SAFETY KEY AND CLIP
The safety key is designed to cut the main power to the treadmill
should your fall. Therefore, insert the safety key into the key holder in
the middle of the console and clip the other end of the safety key to
your clothing; so that in the case that you fall, you will pull the safety
key from the console, which will stop the treadmill immediately to
minimize injury. If you want to stop safely the treadmill during the
training, use the safety key as emergency stop only.
5.3 GETTING ON AND OFF THE TREADMILL
Handle with care when getting on or off the treadmill. Try to use the
handlebars while getting on or off. While you are preparing to use the treadmill, do not stand on the running
belt. Straddle the running belt by placing your feet on both side rails of the treadmill deck. Place your foot
on the belt only after the belt has begun to move at a consistent slow speed (max 3Km/h). During exercise,
keep your body and head facing forward at all times. Never attempt to turn around on the treadmill when
the running belt is still moving. When you have finished exercising, stop the treadmill by pressing the red
stop button. Wait until the treadmill comes to a complete stop before attempting to get off the treadmill.

5.4 MOVING THE TREADMILL
The treadmill has wheels for transportation in a comfortable and safe way.
Before moving the treadmill you must make sure that:
1. Restore the incline to flat (0) position.
2. Unplug from power point. Put your hands on the end of the running deck. Hold up the treadmill. Move
the treadmill to suitable position by using the transport wheels. Put down the treadmill slowly with hands
holding on the running deck.
5.5 HOW TO USE YOUR GRIP PULSE HANDRAILS
This is a very simple operation to measure your heart rate while you are exercising.
Simply grasp both handrails firmly and hold. Your pulse reading will be displayed in beats per minute.
Remember, this is only a guideline and not exact, as your movement and grip integrity can slightly alter the
Dashboard reading from your actual rate. The pulse rate you see will be a good approximation of your heart
rate at that moment of your exercise.
5.6 HOW TO USE YOUR WIRELESS HEART RATE CHEST BAND (NOT INCLUDED. OPTIONAL)
Use the Wireless Chest Band to transmit your heart rate directly to the
Dashboard. As soon as the Transmitter senses activity from your heart,
it will be activated.
Step 1: Adjust the band to fit as tight as comfortable, around your chest,
just below your pectoral muscles. Adjust the band so that it is positioned
securely and will not fall or move during your workout.
Step 2: Position the Transmitter (the middle section of the band) with the
flat side against your body, and the logo and rounded, silver surface facing
outward away from your body (centered).
Step 3: Begin your workout and check for a pulse reading on the
Dashboard. The heart-Shaped Icon will flash when it is sensing your heart
pulse.
NOTE: Perspiration will help to conduct your heart rate pulses to the
Transmitter. If the Transmitter is not sending a signal, or it seems erratic,
consider adding some water to the back side of the Transmitter, or wait
for your own perspiration to help improve the signal.
It is always recommended to use our wireless chest band 3 in 1 of Salter ref. 60100 when using workout
programs.

2. Continuously press the "HRC" button in the standby status to display "Hrc1/Hrc2/Hrc3" (heart rate
control program). Then, the "Display Change" window can be switched to show time, age, heart rate,
and maximum speed. Note: If you press the start button in the Hrc1/Hrc2/Hrc3 mode, the system will
automatically recommend parameters of heart rate control for users: The default maximum speed will
be 12.0KMH, and the default age is 30, and then the corresponding to heartbeats will be 124, 143, and
162 beats/min
3. If you press the "Display Change” button to set age, and the default age will be 30 in speed window.

bar shows "AGE".
4. After the user selects age, press the "Display Change" button, and the dot bar shows "Target Heart
Rate (THR)"; the system will automatically recommend a suitable target heart rate according to the
selected age. The user can also set the target heart rate value by pressing the "speed +/-" key or "incline
+/-" key according to their body conditions, and the range is 86-179 (see theHrc1/ Hrc2/Hrc3 Heart Rate
Program Table)
5. After set the target heart rate and press the "Display Change" button, the dot bar displays "SET SPEED
MAX". Then set the maximum speed of the heart rate mode, and the default is 12.0KPH. User can also

speed and incline. But the system will still automatically adjust the speed and incline to approach your
target heart rate.
The Heart Rate Programs are intended to be used with the Wireless Chest Band (Heart Rate
Transmitter). Do not use the Grip Pulse Handrails for these programs. You must receive a strong and
steady signal for the pulse rate for this program to be effective.
The HP1 program has a default heart rate value of 65% of your maximum heart rate, the HP2 program is
75% and HP3 is 85%. This is calculated by the program based on the age you input in the program steps.
You may select a higher or lower value if you choose, but this is the basic calculation:
220 – Your Age (which is your MHR) x 0.65 (or 0.75 or 0.85)
For example, if you are 30 and choosing HP1, then the calculation is:
(220-30) x 0.65 = 124 beats per minute
NOTE: When you enter an age in the HRC programs, the program will calculate the 65%, 75% and 88%
target heart rates (HP1, HP2 and HP3 resp.). However, we always recommend consulting your
physician for the proper heart rate targets for your exercise regimen, and prior to participating in any
exercise program.
Which one is right for you?
- HP1 (65% of MHR) is a moderate heart rate workout that targets Fat Loss.
- HP2 (75% of MHR) is a moderate-higher heart rate workout that targets Improved Cardiovascular
Function.
- HP3 (85% of MHR) is a higher heart rate workout that targets better performance.
When the actual heart rate < target heart rate: The equipment will automatically increase speed and / or
incline until the user reaches the target pulse.
