I. INTRODUCTION
The device brings you much convenience for your business designed, it brings you wonderful user
experience, designed to give more functions and friendly user interface to work with our Sammic
machines. This guide serves to enable users to get to know and familiar with the product as soon as
possible. Here we have made a brief introduction in figures and words. Before beginning, please
refer to this user manual carefully.
*Software not included
This manual describes the installation, operation and maintenance of the SmartVide Box. The
model reference and its characteristics appear on the name plate attached to the machine. This
device has been designed and manufactured in accordance with the following standards:

II. SAFETY AND PREOCAUTIONS BEFORE USE
To reduce the possibility of accidents and ensure the best functioning and the proper maintenance
of the machine, it is necessary to carefully read and follow these instructions. Keep these
instructions and ensure that all users of the machine read them before use. Also keep the warranty
and the declaration of conformity.
1. Prevent this product from falling to the ground in could be strongly damaged.
2. Keep the device away from rain, moisture, direct sunlight and heat source.
3. Avoid liquid getting inside the device and never submerge it in water or any kind of liquid.
4. Once any water or other liquid splashed onto this product, close it immediately and do not
use it until it dries out.
5. Avoid using it in the strong magnetic and strong static environment as much as possible.
6. Clean the device with the power cord unplugged.

7. Do not clean this product with any detergent containing chemical element or other liquid
to avoid causing damage due to corrosion and becoming damp. If cleaning is necessary,
clean it with dry soft cloth tissue paper.
8. Handle the screen gently. To clear fingerprints or dust on the screen, use soft cloth
dedicated for camera lens instead of gauze.
9. Please do not disassemble this product by yourself; otherwise you will lose the right to
warranty.
10. This appliance is not to be used by people (including children of 8 years and over) with
limited physical, sensorial or mental capabilities, or that lack the experience or knowledge,
unless they have been supervised or instructed in the use of appliance by a person
responsible for their safety and understand the danger it entails. Do not allow children to
play with the appliance. The cleaning and maintenance to be performed by the user must
not be performed by unsupervised children.
11. This machine is for supervised use. Never leave the machine running unsupervised.
12. Comfort or familiarity with the product (based on its repeated use) should not replace strict
compliance with the safety regulations. Be alert, pay attention to what you are doing and
use common sense when operating the appliance.
13. Do not disconnect the device from power suddenly, when uploading and downloading,
which can lead to program errors.
14. Please use the original AC adapter. Nonconforming chargers may cause harms.
15. Protect the power cord. When connect the power cord. Do not step onto it or place any
object on it. Which may cause extrusion. Protect the connector of the power cord
connected devices specially.
16. The device cited in the manual have been designed for use in hotels, restaurants, catering
and commercial applications.
17. Do not use the appliance while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or
medication. If you use the machine incorrectly or in an unsafe manner, you may suffer
personal or material damages.
18. Location:
a. Use this device in a ventilated environment at an ambient temperature no higher
than 40 ℃.
b. Do not place the device next to or near sources of heat.
19. Pictures in this manual are for demonstration purpose only and may differ from the real
product.
20. Any accessories used must be designed for the specific model and the SAMMIC brand. Any
accident caused by non-SAMMIC accessories will be the responsibility of the user.
21. The manufacturer is not responsible when the product is used incorrectly or differently
than the use mentioned above. Such as sanitary use, chemical use, use in explosive
atmospheres, etc.

III. HARDWARE DESCRIPTION
Our device SmartVide Box is designed to empower our Sammic machines with friendly design.
The device has a 10” touch display with an aluminium alloy case (1).It must screw the antenna (2)
for wireless connection as Bluetooth and Wifi to connect to our machines and for our online
services. It must be powered with the power supply (3) to use SmartVide Box, our device does not
have an internal battery.
With the power supply plug in and connected to the power entry in the device (5) hold the main
button (4) until the screen turns on.
Our device has an NFC sensor (6) in the front side and two loudspeakers (7) in the back side.
It has four holes (8) for screw to a support.

IV. BASIC OPERATIONS
1. Set language and date.
2. Wireless connectivity: Bluetooth, Cast, Wifi
Enable or disable the connectivity.

Connect the devices to Wifi, it will automatically check the lastest stable software version.

V. ERASE ALL DATA TO DEFAULT CONFIGURATION
Touch and hold down the SMARTVIDE logo for ten seconds and release. A window will appear to
guide you.

alled and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to
radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occu
r in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radi
o or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the foll
owing measures:
‐ Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
‐ Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
‐ Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
