Safety Instruction
The following precautions should always be followed when using the dehydrator.
PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING AND RETAIN FOR
FUTURE REFERENCE
1. This appliance can be used by children age 8 years and up with proper supervision
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
2. This food dehydrator is designed for RESIDENTIAL USE ONLY and is not designed
for commercial use. Do not use outdoors.
3. When using the food dehydrator make sure that it is on a flat, level and sturdy
surface.
4. Failure to follow all the instructions listed may result in electric shock, fire or serious
personal injury. The warnings, cautions and instructions discussed in this instruction
manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur while the
product is in use
5. Do not leave the food dehydrator unattended during use.
6. Before plugging the food dehydrator into the outlet, check that the voltage and power
supply comply with the specifications on the food dehydrator’s rating label.
7. Remove the plug from the electrical outlet when it is not in use.
8. Under no circumstances should the food dehydrator or plug be immersed in water or
any other liquid. Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
9. Check the food dehydrator and power cord regularly for damage.
10. Do not use the food dehydrator should there be damage to the plug or cord, following
a malfunction, or after it has been dropped or damaged in any way.
11. Repairs to the food dehydrator should only be performed by a certified technician.
Improper repairs may place the user at risk.
12. None of the product’s parts are dishwasher safe, unless explicitly specified otherwise.
13. Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, spatulas and other
utensils away during operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons and/or damage
to the machine.
Caution:
⚫To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product,
flexible cord or plug to water, moisture or any liquid.
⚫Do not use the product near baths, basins or other vessels containing water or
liquids.
⚫Keep the device away from high temperatures.
⚫Don’t operate the device with wet hands.
⚫In the event the appliance is dropped into the water, turn off the power at the
power outlet and remove the plug immediately. DO NOT REACH INTO THE
WATER TO RETRIEVE IT.

⚫ATTENTION! Do not run the appliance for more than 24hours in one single
use.After 24 hours. Unplug and let it cool down for at least 2 hours before
operating again.
⚫Improper operation or handling can lead to malfunction of the appliance and
injuries to the user.
⚫The surface of the dehydrator may be HOT when in operation, use caution
when handling it.
Features of Dehydrator
•This unit features a quiet, powerful, automatic fan which evenly circulates
warm air thus producing a nice consistently dried product. Dried foods are
excellent as they hold almost all of their nutritional value and flavor.
•It is the perfect way to preserve fruit, meat, vegetables, herbs, flowers and
more.
•Contains ten, easy to clean stainless steel trays. Each tray can hold over 1
lb. of food.
•Easily remove one or more trays to increase the space for thicker food.
•Convenient drip tray collects residue for easy cleaning.
Before Use:
Cleaning:
Before using for first time, wipe all parts of the appliance clean. Clean the 10 trays,
damper door and pans with a lightly moistened cloth and mild detergent. Do not
immerse the unit in water or other liquids!
After cleaning, the unit must be run empty for 30 minutes on the highest
temperature setting to clean the heating element. Any smoke or smells
produced during this procedure are normal. Please ensure sufficient
ventilation.After the 30 minute period, rinse the racks in water and dry all parts.
This act is only necessary before the first use.
Unplug the dehydrator from the power supply and let it cool down before cleaning.
Use a soft brush to remove stuck food. Dry all parts before storing the dehydrator.
Do not clean the appliance with aggressive chemicals or abrasives so as not to
damage the stainless steel surface.

Assembling the appliance:
Make sure that the dehydrator sits steadily on a solid level surface. Stock the
drying trays and connect the plug with a wall socket. The dehydrator is now ready
for use.
Using You Dehydrator
1. Put the clean food in the trays –Do not overload the trays and never overlap
the food. Close the door.
2. Plug dehydrator into a wall outlet. The screen and buttons will light up and you
will hear a beep. The screen will show “---“.
3. Press the “ON/OFF” button. The LED screen will show the default time setting
of “10:00” and temp setting of “158F”. The motor and fan start first, then the
heating element will turn on 5 seconds later. The set time will begin to count
down.
4. Press the “TEMP/TIME” button until the LED screen shows the desired time
value. According to actual needs, press “+" or "-" button to change the drying
time between "0:30” and “24:00". Press "+" or "-" button once, the time
increment or decrement is 30 minute/press. If you press and hold the "+" or "-"
button, the time will increase or decrease rapidly. After you finish setting the
drying time, the system automatically starts operating.
5. Press the “TEMP/TIME” button until the LED screen shows the desired temp
value. According to actual needs, press "+" or "-" button to change the drying
temp between "95F” and “167F". Press "+" or "-" button once, the temp
increment or decrement is 9F/press. If you press and hold the "+" or "-" button,
the time will increase or decrease rapidly. After you finish setting the
temperature, the system automatically starts operating.
Note: Set lower temperatures for thin/small pieces of food or for small batches.
Set higher temperatures for drying thick/big pieces of food and large batches.
The thermostat can also decrease the temperature as the food is near the end

of its drying cycle, making it easier to control the final moisture level in the
food.
6. During drying process, to change or check the drying time press the
“TEMP/TIME” button then press the "+" or "-" button.
7. During drying process if you press the “ON/OFF” button, all functions will be
paused.
8. In standby mode, you can press the “ON/OFF” button again and the
dehydrator will go directly into default mode ( TIME : 10 hours TEMP: 158F).
You also can change the drying time and temp if needed.
9. When the set time counts down to "0:00”, the heating element will
automatically turn off. The fan will continue running for 10 seconds and the
buzzer will beep 20 times one beep per second.
10. Unplug the unit after the process is done.
Hints:
·Depending on the moisture in the food and the local humidity, drying and
operation time may vary. Use the dehydrator in a dust free, well ventilated, warm
and dry room.
· Fruit and vegetables dried in your food dehydrator will be different in
appearance from those sold in health food stores and supermarkets. Many
store bought foods use preservatives and artificial coloring.
DRYING TIPS:
Drying time food will vary according to the following factors:
1) thickness of pieces or slices
2) number of trays with food being dried
3) volume of food being dried
4) moisture or humidity in your environment
5) your preferences of dryness
It is recommended to:
⚫Check your food every hour.
⚫Rotate and/or re-stack your trays if you notice uneven drying.
⚫Label food with contents dried, date and weight before drying. It will also be
helpful to note the drying time for future reference.
⚫Correct food storage after drying also will help to keep food in good quality

and protect nutrients.
STORAGE
⚫Store food only after it has cooled down.
⚫Food can be kept longer if stored in a cool, dry and dark place.
⚫Remove all the air you possibly can from the storage container and close
tightly.
⚫Optimal storage temperature is 60°or lower.
⚫Never store food directly in a metal container.
⚫Avoid containers that “breathe” or have a weak seal.
⚫Check the contents of your dried food for moisture during the weeks following
dehydration. If there is moisture inside, you should dehydrate the contents for
a longer time to avoid spoiling.
⚫For best quality dried food should not be kept for more than 1 year, if kept in
the refrigerator or freezer.
⚫Dried meats, poultry and fish should be stored for no more than 3 months if
kept in the refrigerator, or 1 year if kept in the freezer.
Maintenance/Cleaning Method
After using, unplug the dehydrator from the power supply and let it cool down
before cleaning. Use a soft brush to remove stuck food on the trays. Dry all parts
with a clean cloth before storing the dehydrator. Clean the surface of body with
moist cloth.
Do not clean the appliance with aggressive chemicals or abrasives so as not to
damage the stainless steel surface.
