Congratulations—you’ve made an excellent choice in your purchase of the Samson DE50
Headset Microphone! The DE50 is a low profile, micro-miniature condenser headset
microphone with a 2.5mm capsule producing outstanding audio quality making it perfect
for spoken word and other vocal applications.
Thanks to the omnidirectional pick up pattern, the microphone’s off axis frequency response
is linear, resulting in a clear and articulate reproduction perfect for house-of-worship,
presentation, theater and fitness applications. The microphone has been specially treated
with a water resistant coating providing extra protection from sweat and other moisture.
In addition, there is a moisture guard drip-ring to further protect the capsule and ensure
reliable performance. The DE50 Headset Microphone is particularly well-suited for use with
Samson wireless systems and with four included adapters, the microphone can be used with
most any other manufacturer’s wireless body pack systems. Other accessories included in
the kit are a clothing cable clip, three windscreens and an attractive carry case to hold the
DE50, all the accessories.
Should your DE50 microphone ever require servicing, a Return Authorization number (RA)
must be obtained before shipping your unit to Samson. Without this number, the unit
will not be accepted. Please call Samson at 1-800-3SAMSON (1-800-372-6766) for a
Return Authorization number prior to shipping your unit. Please retain the original packing
materials and if possible, return the unit in the original carton and packing materials. If
you purchased your Samson product outside the United States, please contact your local
distributor for warranty information and service.

The DE50 Headset Microphone provides excellent vocal reproduction in a nearly invisible,

1. Install the microphone cable by connecting it to the screw terminal located at the end
of the boom. Then install the adapter that’s correct for your wireless body pack. Be sure
to tighten the locking ring to hold the adapter firmly in place.
2. The headset can be re-sized by sliding
the ear hooks to fit snug around your
head (figure 1).
3. Adjust the microphone position by
pressing the button on the ear hook
and slide the boom forward or back
(figure 2). For optimum performance the
microphone should be close to the skin
and towards the corner of the mouth,
approximately a half inch away.
4. Once the microphone is in position, use
the clothing cable clip to restrain the
cable to ensure the microphone stays in
place.
5. Position the moisture guard ring as close
to the capsule as possible.
6. For outdoor use and to help reduce
p-popping, install one of the included
windscreens.

The DE50 microphone boom can be arranged on either the left or right ear. To switch the
side of the microphone on the headset:
1. Remove the boom microphone by pressing the button on
the bottom of the ear hook and pushing the boom until it
snaps out of the clip (figure 3).
2. Unfasten the two hooks from the headset (figure 4).
3. Position the boom on the opposite side of the microphone.
4. Reattach the boom to the microphone by fastening the two
hooks to the headset and to the attachment point on the
bottom of the ear hook (figure 5).

Le micro-casque DE50 vous assure une excellente restitution de la voix dans un modèle
discret et pratiquement invisible. Voici ses principales caractéristiques:

1. Installez le câble du micro en le reliant à la borne à vis située en bout de tige. Ensuite,
mettez en place l'adaptateur convenant à votre système sans fil à porter sur soi.
Assurez-vous de bien serrer la bague de blocage pour maintenir solidement l'adaptateur
en place.
2. Le combiné peut être redimensionné
en faisant coulisser les oreillettes pour
qu'elles s'ajustent bien à la tête (figure 1).
3. Régler la position du micro en appuyant
sur le bouton de l'oreillette et en
faisant coulisser la tige vers l'avant
ou vers l'arrière (figure 2). Pour des
performances optimales, le micro devra
être tout près de la peau et vers le coin
de la bouche, à environ 1,1cm.
4. Une fois le micro en place, se servir de
la griffe pour câble à fixer au vêtement
pour retenir le câble et s'assurer que le
micro reste bien en place.
5. Positionner la bague anti-humidité le
plus près possible de la capsule.
6. Pour une utilisation en plein air et pour
atténuer le bruit de souffle, mettre en
place l'un des deux paravents fournis
d'origine.

La tige du micro du DE50 peut être disposée soit côté gauche, soit côté droit. Pour faire
passer le côté du micro sur le casque:
1. Retirer le micro à tige en appuyant sur le bouton situé au
bas de l'oreillette et en enfonçant la tige jusqu'à ce qu'elle
s'éjecte de la griffe (figure3).
2. Détacher les deux crochets du micro-casque (figure4).
3. Positionner la tige à l'opposé du micro.
4. Refixer la tige au micro en accrochant les deux griffes
au micro-casque et au point de fixation situé au bas de
l'oreillette (figure5).

eine hervorragende Wahl getroffen! Das DE50 ist ein unauffälliges Miniatur Headset
Kondensatormikrofon mit einer 2,5mm Kapsel, das eine außergewöhnliche Audio Qualität

1. Installieren Sie das Mikrofonkabel, indem Sie es mit dem Schraubanschluss verbinden,
der sich am Ende des Arms befindet. Installieren Sie dann den Adapter, der zu Ihrem
kabellosen Body Pack passt. Vergewissern Sie sich, den Sperrring zu sperren, so dass
der Adapter fest sitzt.
2. Das Headset kann durch Verschieben
der Ohrbügel neu dimensioniert werden,
damit es angenehm am Kopf sitzt
(Abbildung 1).
3. Passen Sie die Mikrofon-Position durch
Betätigen der Taste am Ohrbügel und
schieben Sie den Hebel nach vorne
oder zurück (Abbildung 2). Um eine
optimale Leistung zu erhalten, sollte des
Mikrofon nahe der Haut und in Richtung
Mundwinkel ausgerichtet sein, etwa 1,5
cm vom Mund entfernt.
4. Verwenden Sie sobald das Mikrofon in
seiner Position ist das Kleidungs-Clip
für das Kabel, um es zu halten und zu
gewährleisten, dass es dort bleibt.
5. Positionieren Sie den Feuchtigkeits-
Schutzring so nahe an die Kapsel wie
möglich.
6. Installieren Sie für Aufnahme im
Freien oder um Atemgeräusche zu
reduzieren eine der mitgelieferten
Schutzvorrichtungen.

Der Mikrofonarm des DE50 kann für das linke oder rechte Ohr eingerichtet werden. Um die
Seite des Mikrofons am Headset zu wechseln:
1. Entfernen Sie den Mikrofonarm durch Betätigen der Taste
an der Unterseite des Ohrbügels und schieben Sie den
Arm, bis er aus dem Clip springt (Abbildung 3).
2. Lösen Sie die beiden Bügel vom Headset (Abbildung 4).
3. Positionieren Sie den Arm auf der gegenüberliegenden
Seite des Mikrofons.
4. Verbinden Sie nun den Arm wieder mit dem Mikrofon,
indem Sie die beiden Bügel an das Headset und den
Befestigungspunkt an der Unterseite des Ohrbügels
befestigen (Abbildung 5).

¡Felicidades! Ha hecho una gran elección al adquirir el Micrófono de Diadema DE50
de Samson. El DE50 es un micrófono de diadema condensador miniatura de bajo perfil
con una cápsula de 2,5 mm que produce un audio de extraordinaria calidad, haciéndolo
perfecto para su uso en aplicaciones de discurso y otras aplicaciones vocales.
Gracias al patrón de captación omnidireccional, la respuesta de frecuencia fuera del eje
del micrófono es lineal, lo que permite una reproducción clara y perfecta para el uso en
iglesias, presentaciones, teatros y gimnasios. El micrófono tiene un tratamiento especial
con un recubrimiento resistente al agua que proporciona protección adicional contra el
sudor y otras fuentes de humedad. El micrófono también está equipado con un anillo
contra el goteo como protección adicional contra la humedad para la cápsula, asegurando
