GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The TXM16 is a sixteen channel, powered mixer in an
ergonomically correct, attractively appointed, tabletop
enclosure. The TXM16 features a 1000-watt power amplifier,
which is capable of running in 2 x 500-watt stereo, 500-
watt Main plus 500-watt monitor, or 1000-watt bridge mono
operating modes. The TXM16 features a Nine-band Stereo
Graphic Equalizer for the Main Left and Right outputs, plus
a separate Nine-band Graphic Equalizer for your monitor
mix. Connecting all your microphones and instruments is
simple, with eight mic/line inputs plus four additional stereo
channels. There are also dedicated stereo effects returns for
the onboard digital effects. You can add one of the TXM16’s
100 dazzling digital studio quality effects, which include
Delays, Chorus, Flanging, and of course, lush Reverbs to
your vocals or instruments using the onboard 24-bit Multi-
Effects Processor. It’s easy to dial up your favorite effects
preset with the large seven-segment LED display. The
auxiliary buses are also extremely flexible when it comes
to monitor mixes. The TXM16 will give you clean, clear
sound reproduction thanks to the high quality, low noise
microphone preamps, super clean, low impedance mix bus,
and the high output/low distortion power amplifier. The unit
is easy to transport with its compact size and oversized, sure-
grip handle. In addition, the TXM16 can be rack mounted
using the included eleven-space rack mount kit.
The super-tough steel construction ensures reliable, high
quality sound from venue-to-venue and performance-to-
performance day in, and night out. Optimized for live sound
reinforcement and commercial installations, the TXM16 is an
ideal mixer and power amp solution that offer plenty of inputs,
sweet sounding effects and big sound in a compact package.
FEATURES

the TXM16 can be rack mounted using the included
eleven-space rack mount kit.
> 1000-watt power amplifier section, featuring three modes
of operation: 2 x 500-watts Stereo Main, or 500-watt Mono
Main/500-watt Monitor, or 1000-watts Bridged Mono. These
power ratings are true RMS, measured at full bandwidth.

ARCHITECT’S & ENGINEER’S SPECIFICATIONS
The Samson TXM16 shall be a 16 channel stereo powered
mixer. There shall be 8 mic/line channels and 4 stereo
channels. All mono channels shall have XLR inputs with
phantom power, Peak LED’s, 1/4 inch line inputs, insert
points, trim controls, high pass filters, 3 band EQ with
sweepable mids, 2 aux sends and 1 aux for the onboard DSP,
pan, mute, PFL and 60mm faders. Stereo channels 9-12
shall have all the same controls except for XLR inputs, insert
points, High Pass and sweepable mids. Channels 13-16 shall
have aux sends 1 and 2, PFL, and level only. The onboard
DSP shall have 100 presets with aux 1 and 2 controls to add
effects to monitors. The main section shall have Aux 1 and
2 send faders, CD/Tape input fader, Mono output/sub fader,
and main level fader. There shall be a subwoofer channel 1-8
mute switch. There shall be a crossover in/out switch with
frequency control for the mono/sub output. There shall be
an 11 segment LED ladder for main level or AFL/PFL. There
shall be a 9 band stereo graphic EQ for the main outputs and
a 9 band graphic EQ for the monitors. There shall be a power
amplifier capable of 2X500 watts @ 4 ohms or 1000 watts @
8 ohms bridged mono.
