Torecall apresetstation,simplypress the BAND button toselectAMorFM,
press P1/P2toselectthe page then press the desired Presetbutton.
SETTING THECLOCKANDALARMS
You mustpress the TIMESETbutton on the back ofthe RS-330 beforeyou
can setthe clock orthe alarmtimes.(When you plug the clock radioinforthe
firsttime,the displaywill show12:00.)
Pressing TIMESETcyclesthrough the settingsinthisorder:clock →Alarm1→
Alarm2→clock,and soforth.You can setthe clock oralarmsinanyorder.
When you havefinished,do notpress TIMESETagain.Simplywaitafew
secondsforthe RS-330 toreturntonormaloperation.
Tosetthe clock,press the TIMESETbutton on the rearofthe unitonce.The
clock displayblinks toshowthatthe clock isreadytobe set. Press TUNE/TIME
buttonstochange the displaytoshowthe correcttime.Pressing the (∧)
button will increasethe timeand (∨)will decreaseit. Notethat12:00 AMis
midnight, and 12:00 PMisnoon.
Press TIMESETbutton twiceand the 6:00AM“start”alarmtimewill flash.
Press TUNE/TIMEbuttonstoselectthe timeforAlarm1.Afterseven seconds
the displaywill stop flashing and the ALARM1icon will appearindicatingAlarm1
isset.
TosetAlarm2press TIMESETbutton three times.ALARM2icon will be
displayed and 7:00AMwill be the “start”setting.Followthe sameprocedureas
forsettingAlarm1.
UNDERSTANDING THEALARMSYSTEM
The RS-330’s dual-alarmsystemisunique.Wake-up time,wake-up mode,and
wake-up volumecan be setindependentlyfortwopeople.Operation istherefore
slightlydifferentfromotherclock radios.When the RS-330 isused alone,both
Alarm1andAlarm2functionsoccurthrough the RS-330.
The mostimportantdifferenceisthatthe RS-330 and RS-332 operateindepen-
dentlyduring wakeup.Radiosound (orthe beeper) ischanneled tothe RS-330
forAlarm1and tothe RS-332 forAlarm2.ThisfeaturekeepsAlarm1from
disturbing the sleeperwaiting forAlarm2.The radioalsoswitchestomono
reception forthe activated alarm.
