OPTIONS FOR SaniSeat INSTALLATIONS
There are 4 basic types of SaniSeats installs
FLUSH MOUNT: (HARDWIRE FIG.1 OR BATTERY FIG.2)
Flush mounted installations have all wires snaked behind the wall and
PANDUIT is not necessary. SEE PAGE 2 For hardwire flush mount install
details.
SURFACE MOUNT:(HARDWIRE FIG. 3 OR BATTERY FIG. 4)
Surface mounted installations use PANDUIT, which is a brand name of a
raceway, tees, right angle’s, and junction boxes to run and hide all wires & cables;
it is fastened to the wall using double sided sticky tape. SEE PAGE 3 For battery
surface mount details.

Sensor Programming
Reactivation: For 19 seconds after completing a spin the
wall sensor is inactive.
Ignore: Usensor will ignore any color or shadow for
the first 1.5 seconds of a spin.
Time Out: Motor will run for a maximum of 9 seconds,
this is a precaution for incorrectly loaded
SaniWrap or U sensor malfunction.

Rechargeable Batteries and Charging Trays
3800 mAh Nickel Metal Hydride Battery
To Recharge:
Place battery with the contacts held over the internal charger pins, then
gently push down to make contact with pins. Charging will start within 3
seconds, when the red LED begins to blink.
Charge times will vary from 4 to 12 hours, depending on how low the
battery was. When the battery is totally charged, the green LED will light
up & stay on.
Once the battery is fully charged, we recommend that you remove it from
the charger. If the battery is not removed it goes into a ‘trickle’ charge,
which over time will shorten the life cycle of the battery.
New Horizontal Charger And Tray
For more info on LED functions see page 9b.
Page 9
SaniSeat Charger Functions
To set up charger tray:
First plug the chargers small female barrel end cable into the tray,
then plug the power cord into the wall outlet, the small green rectangle
light will light up & power the tray.
SaniSeat Charging Tray LEDFunctions
RED LED is solid when the charger is plugged in and empty.
RED LED blinks after 3 seconds if battery is taking the charge.
YELLOW LED will only come on if battery is under 2vdc and needs
a kick charge, if the battery accepts the kick charge within 10 minutes the
YELLOW LED will go off & the RED LED will blink & charging will
start. If the battery does not accept the kick charge then the RED LED
comes on & stays solid, that indicates that there is a bad cell in the
battery or the battery is old & cycled out.
GREEN LED becomes a solid green light when the battery reaches its full
charge which is about 14 vdc to 14.40 vdc.
As stated before, on previous page, please take the battery out of the tray
when charging is finished to increase the battery’s life cycles.
The SaniSeat batteries have a minimum of 500 rechargeable cycles at
14.vdc after that each cycle starts to degrade slightly.

Mounting the SaniSeat to the toilet bowl
All hardware needed to mount the SaniSeat to the toilet bowl can be found in the wall
sensor box. You will find two metal plates, two 11/2'' bolts with tapered and regular washers,
and 9/16'' nuts. You will also find the keys for the locking lid, yellow nylon anchors and
screws, however you will not need them until later in the installation process when mounting
the Wall Sensor and gang plate to the wall.
1. The original seat should be removed leaving
just the porcelain bowl. 5. Take the two 11/2'' bolts and place them
through the metal plate slots and in the bowl's
bolt holes.
2. Place the SaniSeat on the bowl so that the
metal bracket is over the boltholes. 6. In one hand hold a tapered and metal washer,
along with a 9/16'' nut.
3. Take both metal plates from the sensor box
and lift seat so bracket is easily visible.
7.
4. Place the metal plates in the bracket channel
so the bolt holes are visible.
Before threading arrangement onto the bolt,
keep constant downward pressure on the bolt.
NOTE: The plastic washer should be against
porcelain.

Installation of New SaniWrap Rolls
1. Remove used spool from left chamber by
pulling back on the stainless steel spring
clip (As shown in Figure 3). Discard used
Spool.
2. Before loading the new SaniWrap roll,
make sure the seat rin
g
is clean and dr
y
. If
not, spray Clorox®Cleanup (or similar
product) to the top and bottom of the seat
ring and dry with a soft cloth. As an extra
measure of preventative maintenance, you
may spray food grade silicon on the top
and bottom of the seat ring and allow to
dry for 30-seconds. (Food
g
rade silicon can
be purchased from North American
H
yg
iene, Inc.) You are now read
y
to install
the new SaniWrap roll.
3. The empty spool in the right chamber
becomes the new take-up spool in the left
chamber. NOTE: When installing the
empty spool in the left side chamber, flip
in over so that the narrow end with the
slot is facing the motor (As shown in
Figure 3). Release the spring clip to lock
the take-up spool in place.
4. Insert a new roll of SaniWrap in the ri
g
ht
side chamber. Make sure the SaniWrap
dispenses from the bottom of the roll and
travels under the U-Bar.
5. Slide SaniWrap completely around the
seat ring, past the razor blade and onto the
take-up spool.
6. Press the 200-use button 2 times on the top
of the motor housing to indicate roll size.
The LED display of the Wall Sensor will
read 150 and automatically countdown the
number of uses left on the clean SaniWrap
roll.
7. Activate the seat by placing your hand in
front of the Wall Sensor to make sure that
the SaniWrap roll is properly installed.
Replacing a SaniSeat Razor Blade
Before starting you should have a Phillips head screwdriver, 14mm
socket wrench and a replacement blade with short screw.
WARNING: New and Used SaniSeat razor blades are extremely sharp and
should be handled with caution.
1. Using your 14mm socket wrench,
remove the two bolts located on the
left side of the seat.
2. After removing the bolts, the seat
ring should easily pull from the
seat base.
3. Turn the seat ring over and remove
the used razor blade by using the
Phillips head screwdriver. After
doing so replace with the new razor
blade and short screw
4. Secure the seat ring back to the
seat base using the two bolts
removed in step 1. Be sure to
thread the bolts through the metal
plate attached to the braided cable
when tightening.

Three Easy Steps to a Clean SaniSeat
To keep your SaniSeat running at optimal performance we recommended
using Clorox®Clean Up:
Recommended Cleaning Procedures:
The best time to clean a SaniSeat is while changing the roll of SaniWrap.
This should be the only time that all the SaniWrap is removed from the seat.
Once the SaniSeat is clear of any SaniWrap follow our three steps to a clean
seat.
1. Spray Clorox®Clean Up over all infected areas, making sure not to forget
about the seat ring.
2. Let stand for a couple seconds before wiping clean.
3. Before any SaniWrap is put back on the SaniSeat, make sure the seat ring
is completely dry. Any moisture on the seat ring will cause drag and added
strain to the motor.
To create a slick and efficient surface for the SaniWrap to slide along the seat
ring, spray Food Grade Silicone by CRC to either side of the ring before
spooling a new roll of SaniWrap.
You can order a can of Food Grade Silicone by CRC from us along with
your next SaniWrap order, or from your local Grainger Supply.
Page 13
Replacement of SaniSeat (Swap-Out)
Before starting you should have a Phillips head screwdriver.
1. Remove the screen and white washers
holding the seat to bracket. 2. Remove the two screws from the gang
plate.
3. After the screws are removed from the
gang plate, gently pull on the braided
cable to expose the black quick-release
clips. Release the small tab and separate
by holding each side of the plastic clip.
NOTE: When separating clips do not
pull by the wires alone.
4. With all screw removed and clips
disconnected, the seat should easily lift
from the bracket. You are now ready to
attach the replacement seat.
