XGA Ultraportable Multimedia Projectors
1:1.5 WIDE-RANGE ZOOM LENS
The PLC-XU55/XU50 projectors come equipped with a new
Wide-Range Zoom lens capable of producing a 100” diagonal
image from a distance of 8.3’ to 12.9’. The Wide-Range Zoom
lens, with a zoom range that covers the needs of most short-
throw and standard-throw applications, helps make the
PLC-XU55/XU50 a more flexible presentation tool.
DUAL INPUT/MONITOR OUTPUT
The PLC-XU55/XU50 projectors feature a DVI-I input and a
switchable D-Sub15 input / monitor output for use as a second
PC input or for connection to an external monitor. With USB
connectivity, and a variable audio output, this unit is perfect for
classroom environments.
OPTIONAL MULTI CARD IMAGER BOX
An optional Multi Card Imager Box with a wired LAN module
(POA-PN20) also accepts an optional wireless LAN card (POA-
WLC20) for network image transfer and projector
control/administration. Also, JPEG image files stored on a
Compact Flash card can be shown directly from the projector
when the card is inserted into The Multi Card Imager Box.
INTERLACED / PROGRESSIVE CONVERSION
Incoming interlaced video source signals are automatically
converted into progressive signals for improved video image
reproduction.
CUSTOMIZABLE START-UP LOGO
Logo files can be captured for display during the projector’s
countdown sequence at startup.
X-Y DIGITAL KEYSTONE CORRECTION
With the touch of a button, Sanyo’s X-Y digital keystone
correction compensates for angled projector placement by
mathematically interpolating an image’s pixels, correcting
trapezoidal images in both the vertical and horizontal planes.
HDTV COMPATIBLE
The PLC-XU25 is High Definition Television compatible
accepting the 480i, 480p, 575i, 575p, 720p, 1035i and 1080i
HDTV resolution standards.
OPTIONAL VGA/COMPONENT CABLE
With an optional adapter cable, component video sources can
be fed directly into the D-Sub15 VGA input.
