1. General Information
• Carefully read these operating instructions through as they contain important information
for the safe and correct use of the appliance.
• It is advisable to keep the operating instructions in a place where you have them always
ready to hand.
• If you pass the appliance on to a third party, these operating instructions should be
handed on.
• As soon as you have unpacked the bar cooler, check whether everything is in a faultless
condition. Should anything be damaged, do not connect the appliance as such, but
inform your dealer.
• Do not throw away the packing. You might need it for storage of the device, when moving
or in case you need to send it back for repair purposes. The appliance can be transported
surely only in the original packing. If a keeping of the packing is not possible, then
dispose the packing material according to the local regulations. All the packaging items
(plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene foam etc.) must not be left within reach of children,
in that they are potential sources of danger.
• The bar cooler is intended for storage and display of beer and beverages for sale. Do not
use for other purpose than the intended as this could adversely affect items placed in the
unit.
• Place the products in a proper way into the bar cooler, so that nothing falls out, if you
open the door and place not too much into the bar cooler, because of the air circulation.
• During power failure open the door rarely and for short time only. Do not insert further
food.
• In the case of fault and/or malfunction, pull the power plug from the socket and inform
your dealer. He will carry out the repair with original spare parts
.
• The manufacturer/dealer cannot be made responsible for damages which arise through
not observing these operating instructions. Apart from this, if these instructions are not
observed, the safety of the bar cooler is no longer guaranteed.

2. Safety Notes
• The bar cooler should be connected to a separate socket. Do not use similar devices
which allow numbers of electrical appliances to be operated together from electrical
outlet.
• The outlet must be easily accessible, so that the plug can easily be removed in the case
of an emergency.
• If you pull the plug from the socket, always pull at the plug and never at the cable.
• The cable must not come into contact with water or hot parts.
• Do not touch the cable and the plug with moist or wet hands.
• Regularly check the cable. If it is damaged, it must be exchanged by a specialist.
• Keep the bar cooler out of direct sun or other heat sources to ensure correct tempe-
ratures can be achieved.
• Never place heavy objects or items containing water on top of the appliance. Objects
could fall down and cause injury and spilled water could deteriorate the insulation of
electrical components and result in electrical leakage.
• Never put dangerous products (inflammable and explosive) nearby the bar cooler.
• Use the bar cooler only outdoors, if it is protected against rain.
• Grasp the handle when closing the door. Holding at other positions could result in
pinched fingers and injury.
• Do not push hand against or apply excessive force to glass surfaces as the glass could
break and cause injury.
• Repairs may only be undertaken by a qualified specialist using original spare parts.
• Do not attempt to repair the bar cooler by yourself.
• Do not touch the compressor (burn danger).
• Ensure that children do not play with appliance respectively the door.
• Before each cleaning session or repair pull the power plug out of the socket. Do not use a
wet rag (only moist), high pressure cleaner or a jet of water.
• Attention: After power failure or unplugging the bar cooler, always wait at least 5
minutes before putting the plug into the socket.
3. Transportation and Placement
• Please be careful during the transportation or moving of the bar cooler.
• To prevent possible compressor damage, transport the appliance in upright position.
• Take good care of the glass panes to prevent breakage.
• Place the bar cooler on a stable, dry and level surface.
• Keep the bar cooler away from hot air sources. Cooling performance is reduced if the
appliance is placed near heat sources such as hot plates and stoves and if it is exposed
to direct sunlight.
• The space between the appliance and any wall should be at least 10 cm. If there are no
space, cooling capacity can drop down.
• Do not block the air intake openings and the air discharge outlets in the bar cooler.
• Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the tension indicated on the
identification plate agrees with the tension on your electricity mains (230V/50Hz/1Ph).
• The bar cooler should be connected to a separate socket. Do not use “double adapters”
or similar devices which allow numbers of electrical appliances to be operated together
from electrical outlet.

4. Preparation for use
• Clean the bar cooler, the adjustable grids and the glass doors with a moist rag and a mild
cleaning detergent. Dry everything carefully. The glass panes can be cleaned with a
cleaning detergent for windows. Do not use aggressive detergents, steel wool or high
pressure cleaner or a jet of water. (See also under point 6 “Cleaning”)
• Put the plug into the plug socket.
• Allow the appliance to operate for about 1 hour to cool the compartment before placing
items in the bar cooler.
• Do not throw items onto the shelves and do not place items totaling more than 30 kg on
each shelf. The shelf could fall down, possibly cause injury.
• The products should have room temperature (not too warm or hot).
• The distance of the grids should suit the products height.
• Place the products in a proper way into the bar cooler, so that nothing falls out, if you
open the door.
• Place not too much into the bar cooler, because of the air circulation.
• Do not block the air intake openings and the air discharge outlets in the bar cooler.
• Avoid unnecessary opening of the door.
• Ensure the door is properly closed at all times.
• During power failure open the door rarely and for short time only. Do not insert further
food.
• Defrosting is performed automatically. Drain water is collected in the drain tray, where it
evaporates automatically.
5. Operation
Down at the front side is the control panel with display, one SET-key and 2 arrow keys.
Beside the control panel is a light switch for the interior lighting.

1. After putting the plug into the socket, the display shows the temperature of the bar cooler
interior.
2. If you press the set-key now, the LED-display flashes on, and the adjusted cooling tem-
perature is indicated. With the arrow keys (
▲
or
▼
) you can change this temperature
level. The new set cooling temperature is confirmed by pressing the SET-key or you wait
several seconds and the new set cooling temperature is automatically taken over.
3. To switch on the interior light, operate the light switch.
4. The operating control lamp lights up during the cooling phase and shut off, if the cooling
temperature is constant.
5. Note: If you do not need the bar cooler for a long time, pull the plug from the socket and
clean everything as described under point “Cleaning”. Leave the glass door open, so that
no smells develop on the inside.

6. Cleaning
• Clean the bar cooler regularly to keep it clean at all times.
• Before each cleaning pull the power plug from the socket.
• Clean the exterior surfaces and the grids with a soft, damp, warm cloth and a commercial
detergent. Wipe off and dry everything carefully. The glass panes can be cleaned with a
cleaning detergent for windows.
• Do not use aggressive detergents, steel wool or abrasive sponges. The bar cooler may
not be hosed down with water.
• Brush off from time to time the dirt from the slots in the interior of the bar cooler. Use at
the same time a vacuum cleaner.
• If you do not need the showcase for a long time, pull the plug from the socket and clean
everything as described and leave the glass door open. Cover the appliance with a cloth.
7. Troubleshooting and Settlements
If the appliance does not work well, then check the following:
• Is the plug in the plug socket?
• Is there a power failure at present?
• Was the appliance upright transported? If not, did it stand after tranportation upright for
enough time (at least 1 hour)?
• Was the appliance just filled with uncooled products?
• Is the appliance in direct sunlight or near to other sources of warmth?
• Is the door open?
• Does the door close correctly?
• Are the doors too often open?
• Is the temperature regulator not correctly adjusted?
• Are the air intake openings and the discharge openings blocked?
• Is the condenser clogged?
• If there are noises, check whether the backside of the appliance has contact with the wall
or with other objects. Does the appliance stand on a stable and flat surface?
• If the sound is like water flows, it is no trouble, but the sound of flowing refrigerant, for
example when starting.
• If you do not find the cause, inform your dealer.
Non-trouble
The following situation do not mean trouble.
• If dew-drops are on the panes, it is no trouble.
• The outside of the refrigerator may have condensate water when the humidity is high,
please wipe it off with dry cloth.
