TROUBLESHOOTING
No C/N
•
Check selected satellite and ensure correct frequencies and LOs set in terminal GUI and
in modem.
•
Check RF value, RQ value in newer software.
•
Check line of sight
•
Check Magnetic Fieldvalue in GUI under status. Typ: 50-80
µT if >100µT there is most
likely significant interference and changing terminal location is advised. That allows for
more accurate pointing values.
•
Check correct GPS position is entered or has been found.
•
Check SNMP IP-settings of modem (192.168.222.222). Should be set to Terminal IP:
192.168.222.219
Green pointing arrows (Azimuth, elevation, polarization) all point straight up.
With strange pointing values as a result.
•
Check correct GPS position has been acquired if position is set to automatic or is set
correctly if using manual position. Control location by pressing down arrow on terminal.
Automatic acquisition can take a while to succeed if the terminal is not in an open space
such as in between buildings.
Polarization value showing +45 degrees from “Zero position”

Is due to the antenna elements inside the antenna is shifted 45 degrees and is perfectly
normal.
Network icon and WIFI icon alternatively flash OR unable to find WIFI
•
The WIFI module has not yet started.
•
If it continues longer than 2 min after startup try restarting terminal.
•
Alternatively try changing the WIFI name (SSID) and saving int eh GUI by connecting with an
ethernet cable.
Unable to connect to WIFI
•
Connect with ethernet cable and change WIFI name (SSID) and password of WIFI network.
