THERMO-HYGROMETER
Thank you very much for buying a SAUTER Thermo-
Hygrometer. We hope that you are pleased with your high
quality instrument and its functional range.
These kinds of instruments are widely used in laboratory,
warehouse, air conditioning systems, quality control etc.
Although this is a complex and delicate instrument, its
ruggedness will allow many years of use if you will care for
an appropriate operation and maintenance.
Please read the instruction manual carefully and always
keep it within reach.

1 Functions
* Large dual LCD Display

2 Operation
a) The battery cover has to be opened and a 9V battery
has to be installed correctly. Then the ON/OFF button has
to be pressed to turn the instrument on for measuring.
b) -selection key: This key has to be pressed to select
units between Celsius and Fahrenheit for temperature
measurement.
c) Temperature MAX/ MIN- Function: Storage of max./
min. values. If the button T MAX/MIN is being pressed for
the first time, the max. temperature value will be shown.
If the button is being pressed a second time, the min.
temperature value of a measuring process will be shown
and it will be saved.
d) Humidity MAX/MIN- Function: If the button RH
MAX/MIN is being pressed for the first time, the max.
humidity value will be shown. If the button is being pressed
a second time, the min. humidity value of a measuring
process will be shown and it will be saved.
e) HOLD- Function: In normal measurement mode, the
actual measured value can be frozen at any time by
pressing the T HOLD-button. If this button is being
pressed again, one returns to normal measurement mode.
The same procedure is valid for humidity measurement:
here the button RH HOLD has to be pressed.
f) K-Typ temperature measurement with wire sensor:
The instrument has to be connected with a wire sensor.
Soon after, the K-Type temperature measurement mode
will appear on the display. If the instrument is disconnected
from the wire sensor, it will return to normal measurement
mode.
g) LCD Display with backlight: If the button is pressed
longer than 2 seconds, the backlight function will be
activated. If it is pressed again, backlight is turned off.
h) ON/OFF button: There will be an automatic shut-down
after 10 minutes, as long as no button is being pressed or
any operation is being done. The instrument can also be
turned on or off manually at any time by pressing this
button.
