Insert pin into hole for about 10 seconds to reset the Static IP
address.
Green indicates the system has adequate power and is
operating normally.
Red indicates the system is in stand-by mode. The Controller
hardware has power, but the embedded processor is shut off
and in the standby mode.
Off indicates that the system is not receiving power.
Green indicates the Host has evaluated the firmware currently
running and determined it is up to date.
Green flashing indicates the embedded system is ready
(running with DHCP IP address), but the embedded processor
has not established communications with the embedded
system.
Off indicates the embedded processor is resetting or is
powered up; and is booting the embedded firmware.
Red indicates the Host has determined the firmware needs to
be updated, but a problem occurred during the process that
will initiate a reset.
Red flashing indicates the embedded firmware is running, but
has not received a DHCP IP Address.
Amber indicates the Host is currently updating the embedded
firmware.
Amber flashing indicates the embedded system has a valid
link-local IP Address and is waiting to connect to the Host.
Insert pin into hole for about eight seconds to place in standby
mode. Insert the pin again for about 1 second to take system
out of standby mode. The I/O power switch on the back of
Controller must be On (I) to enable this function. To turn the
power off for the entire system, flip the switch to Off (O).

(8) 19-pin Type A HDMI female; digital video/audio outputs;
signal types HDMI, DVI—compatible with DVI/D (requires DVI
to HDMi adapter, not included), allowing DVI/D source signal
to be passed to displays. Limited to 185 MHz pixel clock.
(8) 8-pin RJ45 female, shielded; HDBaseT compliant.Connect
to SmartLink inputs of SmartLink receivers or to HDBaseT
devices via single Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat7; Extends video and
bidirectional RS-232, IR and audio signals through a single
category cable.
(8) RJ45 10/100 Base-T, auto-negotiating port with Link/
Activity LEDs.
100-240V, 2.5A—Fast acting fuse. This is field-replaceable.
On/Off switch -
I is used to power the controller to the On state.
O is used to power the controller to the Off state.
(8) 19-pin Type A HDMI female; digital video/audio inputs;
signal types HDMI/DVI
(8) S/PDIF Outputs (Digital Coax, RCA connectors)—for
example, can be used in conjunction with the SmartAudio 16
SSA-1620 Audio Matrix Switcher
(8) RJ45 female-connector ports used to transmit and receive
serial binary data.
(8)IR Inputs and (8) IR Outputs - Uses four-pin screw down
connectors (3.81mm).
The IR IN ports receive IR commands from a Savant controller
with IR control or third party IR control box and send them over
the Cat5e, Cat6, or Cat7 port (SmartLink) to the distant ends
IR output port to control devices in that zone. Conversely, IR
OUT ports can drive an IR emitter(blaster) with IR commands
received from the distant ends IR IN port.
NOTE: IR IN and OUT ports are 5V tolerant only.
Green indicates an Ethernet link has been established.
Green flashing indicates Ethernet activity.
Off indicates an Ethernet link has not been established.
Green indicates an Ethernet speed of 100 Mb.
(1) RJ45 10/100 Base-T, auto-negotiating port with Link/
Activity LEDs (same as Items 11 and 12). Through this
Ethernet port, the SLN-88BT provides a single-point
connection to a home network or corporate LAN.
(1) RJ45 female-connector serial port port—typically used for
debug or optionally for control from a Savant Controller or third
party control box
