INSTALLATION
Most installations should work using the instructions
below. If not, follow the reset instructions on next page.
1. Plug computer, TV or any electric device with power
consumption less than 1000W into socket labeled ‘PC/TV’
2. Plug accessories into sockets labeled ‘Accessories’
3. If a device needs permanent power, plug it into the
socket labeled ‘Permanent’
4. Turn on power from wall outlet - PC Standby Stop is
now ready for use
To test setup, turn on device plugged into ‘PC/TV’. After a
short time all devices plugged into sockets labeled ‘Acces-
sories’ should recieve power. Put device plugged into ‘PC/
TV’ on standby. After a short time all devices plugged into
sockets labeled ‘Accessories’ should shut off.

This product protects all connected devices against
overvoltage through the power network, which prevent
damage and minimizes the risk of fire.
If the indicator on PC Standby Stop lights red, the
overvoltage fuse has blown and the product must
be discarded.

RESET INSTRUCTIONS FOR PC OR TV
1. Switch off power from wall outlet
2. Plug PC Standby Stop into wall outlet
3. Plug in computer, TV or any electric device with power
consumption less than 1000W in socket labeled ‘PC/TV’
4. Turn on power on wall outlet
5. Put device plugged into ‘PC/TV’ socket on standby
6. Reset to new standby power level by pressing the button
on the top of PC Standby Stop for 5 seconds until the
green indicator lights up for 2 seconds
7. Switch off power from wall outlet
8. Plug in accessories in sockets labeled ‘Accessories’
9. If a device needs permanent power, plug it into the
socket labeled ‘Permanent’
10. Turn on power from wall outlet - PC Standby Stop is now
ready for use
To test setup, turn on device plugged into ‘PC/TV’. After a short time
all devices plugged into sockets labeled ‘Accessories’ should receive
power. Put device plugged into ‘PC/TV’ on standby. After a short

RESET INSTRUCTIONS FOR LAPTOP COMPUTER
1. Plug PC Standby Stop into wall outlet
2. Turn on power on wall outlet
3. Reset to default standby power level by pressing the button
on the top of PC Standby Stop for 5 seconds until the green
indicator lights up for 2 seconds
4. Switch off power from wall outlet
5. Plug laptop computer into socket labeled ‘PC/TV’
6. Plug accessories into sockets labeled ‘Accessories’
7. If a device needs permanent power, plug it into the
socket labeled ‘Permanent’
8. Turn on power from wall outlet - PC Standby Stop is now
ready for use
To test setup, turn on laptop computer. After a short time all
devices plugged into sockets labeled ‘Accessories’ should receive
power. Wait until the batteries of the laptop computer are fully
charged and put laptop computer on standby. After a short time
all devices plugged into sockets labeled ‘Accessories’ should shut
off. If not, repeat 1–8.
Note that on some laptop computers, charging the batteries will
cause accessories to receive power even if computer is put on
standby. When batteries are fully charged, PC Standby Stop will
automatically shut off power for accessories.
