Safety Informaon
● This product can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons who require
supervision, provided, they are familiar with the hazards associated with the product,
and, they receive instrucon by a competent person on how to safely use the product.
● This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilies, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instrucon concerning use of the product by a
person responsible for their safety.
● Children must not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be
done by children unless they are aged 8 or older and are supervised.
● Always disconnect the Product from the mains supply socket if it is le unaended
and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning. Check the power cable regularly if the
supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
● This appliance is intended for home use only, it is not t for commercial or outdoor use.
● Do not use this appliance if it or its power cord has been damaged in any way. Always
check the appliance for damage regularly.
● Do not touch the moving parts of this appliance, or allow the accessories to become
obstructed while it is switched on and acve.
● Always use the appliance on a at, stable surface.
● Make sure the device is not acve if le unaended.
● Do not operate the appliance without an aachment installed.
● Only use accessories and aachments approved by the manufacturer with this
appliance.
● Do not interfere with any of the appliance’s safety features.
● Do not immerse the appliance in water.
Overload Protecon System
The motor is protected from burning out by a manual reset cut-out switch. If the
appliance is overloaded or operated connuously for too long, the motor may overheat
and stop. To operate the appliance again, it must be switched o and disconnected from
the power socket then le for at least 30 minutes. Once the motor is fully cooled the
appliance may be used again.
Safety Switch for the Mixer Head
The motor will not start if the Mixer Head is raised. If it is raised during normal operaon,
the safety switch will acvate and the motor will shut o immediately.
Addionally, if the appliance is plugged in while the speed control is not set at 0, the
safety switch will prevent it from running.
In either case, to start the machine again, return the head to the locked posion and turn
the Speed Control back to 0. The appliance should now funcon as normal.

Before Using the Stand Mixer
Using the Stand Mixer
● Before assembling the appliance, remove and safely discard any packaging material.
● Wash the Mixing Bowl, Beater, Dough Hook and Whisk aachments thoroughly in warm
soapy water with a so cloth then rinse and dry.
1. Set the Speed Control to 0 before proceeding.
Note: If the Speed Control is not at 0, the machine’s safety feature will be triggered and it
will not acvate when switched on. If this happens, see Safety Instrucons for how to get
the appliance running.
2. Press and hold the Tilt Buon and li up the Mixer Head. Release the lt buon to lock
the head in this posion.
3. Fit the Mixing Bowl into the groves on the mixer’s base and turn clockwise to lock into
place. Make sure the bowl is locked securely before going any further.
4. Fit the Splash Guard into the grooves on the Mixer Head, aligning the arrow on the
guard to the open padlock symbol on the head. Turn the splash guard clockwise so the
arrow points to the closed padlock symbol to lock it into place. Make sure it is locked
ghtly before going any further.
5. Chose the Mixing Aachment best suited for your recipe.
6. Line the grooves on the aachment up with the aachment sha and then press the
aachment in while turning an-clockwise to lock into place.
7. Add your ingredients to the Mixing Bowl, taking care not to overll. It is recommended
not to mix more than 1.2kg each me and that when kneading dough the mix is roughly
2 parts our to 1 part water.
8. Press and hold in the Tilt Buon to unlock the Mixer Head and return it to the horizontal
posion. Release the lt buon to lock it into place.
9. Plug the power cord into the mains supply. This will make the Speed Control light up
and ash blue.
10. Turn the Speed Control clockwise to select a speed and start mixing. It is recommended
that mixing is started at a lower speed to prevent splaering and then increased to suit
the recipe. Consult the Mixing Guide for example speeds.
11. To use the Pulse funcon, turn the Speed Control an-clockwise from the o posion,
holding it in place for longer pulses. Do not use the pulse funcon for more than 30
seconds at a me.
12. Occasionally stop the mixer during operaon and scrape any mixture down the sides
of the Mixing Bowl with a spatula.
13. When mixing is complete, return the Speed Control to the 0 posion and unplug the
appliance from the power supply.
14. Li up the Mixer Head as described earlier and remove the Aachment by pushing it
in and rotang it clockwise.

● Always begin mixing at low speed to prevent splaering, then increasing to higher
speeds as required.
Note: With heavy mixtures, do not operate the machine for more than six minutes at a me,
and allow ten minutes for it to cool down before operang again.

Cleaning
● Before cleaning, make sure the appliance has been unplugged from the power supply.
● Never immerse the appliance in liquid.
● Hand wash the aachments and mixing bowl in warm soapy water with a so cloth
aer each use. Rinse and dry thoroughly before using again.
● The Whisk, Bowl and Splash Guard are Dishwasher Safe. The Dough Hook and Beater
are Hand Wash Only.
● Clean the housing of the appliance with a damp cloth only.
● Do not expose the appliance to heat or causc cleaning products, these may cause it
to become misshapen or discoloured.
● Do not use sharp or abrasive detergents on the appliance.

Electrical Informaon
● If the product has this electrical classicaon mark on the rang label then the
product does not have an earth wire ed to the product.
● When changing the fuse it must be replaced with the correct rated fuse.
● For non-rewireable plugs the fuse cover Must be reed when replacing the fuse.
If the fuse cover is lost then the plug must not be used unl a replacement can be
obtained. The correct fuse cover is idened by colour.
● If a non-rewireable plug is cut o it must be Destroyed Immediately. An electric shock
hazard may arise if an unwanted non-rewireable plug is inadvertently inserted into a 13A
socket outlet.
● The wires in the cord are coloured as
follows: Blue = Neutral - Brown = Live -
Green and Yellow = Earth.
● The “Brown” Live wire connects to the
terminal marked “L” Live this is located next
to the fuse.
● The “Blue “Neutral wire connects to the
terminal marked “N” Neutral this is located
on the le hand side of the plug.
● The “Green and Yellow” Earth wire
connects to the top pin marked “E” Earth.
