Warning

Installation / Assembly
7. You must install the printer in a location that meets the following minimum installation space requirement.
Clearance behind printer must be 450mm
Right side clearance must be 150mm
Left side clearance must be 50mm
Front clearance must be 450mm
In addition, the printer must be in a location that meets the following conditions:
is level
has no vibration
has low humidity and little dust (Humidity 40-60%)
has no direct sunlight or strong lighting shining on it (Temperature 20-30°C)
has small variation in temperature and humidity. (Ranges to ensure printing precision: Temperature 22-
30°C and Humidity 40-60%)
has no drafts (including those from heating or air conditioning equipment) blowing onto it
has low levels of electromagnetic radiation and noise
Environment for storage
If not charged with ink when stored up to 6 months (Temperature -10 to 40°C and Humidity 20-
80%)
If charged with ink when stored up to 1 week (Temperature -10 to 40°C and Humidity 20-80%)
Perform nozzle checks weekly.
8. Following are the electrical power specifications required by the printer. Actual connection and power up are
not done until steps 6-10 of the Connecting cables section.
Voltage AC 100 V + 10% or 200 V + 10%
Frequency: 50/60 Hz
Current: No less than 10 A; 15 or 20 Amp circuit is recommended.
9. Install the two media guides in the positions shown below. See Figure 7.
