Please note these sensors are not suitable for the RGB kits (59136-
59138). Please refer to the drawings and images shown below*.
1. Choose an appropriate location for the PIR/photocell sensor, taking
into account the operating parameters of the sensor. It is recommended
to mount the PIR/photocell sensor vertically to ensure best
performance and to avoid potential damage from being stepped on.
2. Drill the mounting hole for the PIR/photocell sensor taking care not
to damage any pipes or mains cables beneath the mounting surface.
Minimum hole depth is 80mm. Cutter hole size is 32mm. See Fig. 1.
3. From underneath the decking, feed the cable up through the
installation hole. (A).
4. Fit the end cap onto the head unit. This is to prevent the unit from
dropping back through the hole and to keep debris out. (B).
5. Once the decking has been fully assembled and the PIR/photocell
sensor is ready to be installed, remove the end cap and push the PIR/
photocell sensor onto the head unit observing the correct polarity (align
the flat part of the connector to ensure correct connection). (C)
6. Fit the assembled PIR/photocell sensor head unit into the hole by
pushing into the hole. The springs on the side of the head will secure
the head units in place. (D)
7. Connect the PIR/photocell sensor to the existing Ikon Pro kit,
observing the correct polarity of the cables. See Fig. 2 and Diagram 1.
8. Plug the mains plug into the socket and switch on to test.
