Die vorliegende Gebrauchsanweisung beschreibt die Inbetriebnahme und Bedienung der Scaleson
Personenwaage S220.
2. Warnhinweise
f Im Falle einer Fehlfunktion kontaktieren Sie den Händler oder den Hersteller. Nicht autorisierte
Änderungen oder Reparaturen können die Waage beschädigen und zum Erlöschen der
Herstellergewährleistung führen.
f Unterbrechen Sie die Spannungsversorgung zu dieser Waage vor jeder Installation, Reinigung
oder Wartung.
f Wenn die Waage für einen längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzt werden soll, entfernen Sie bitte die
Batterien.
f Vermeiden Sie es, Materialien auf der Waage zu stapeln oder die Waage mit zu hohen Gewichten
zu belasten. Dies kann zu Beschädigungen führen.
f Stellen Sie die Waage, auf eine feste, stabile und ebene Fläche, so dass genaue Messergebnis-
se gewährleistet werden können. Bei einer weichen oder geneigten Fläche sind die
Messergebnisse nicht repräsentativ.
f Schließen Sie die Waage nicht an instabile Stromquellen an.
f Benutzen Sie nur das Original-Zubehör. Die Benutzung anderer Fabrikate kann zu Schäden am
Terminal führen.

3.2 Verwendungszweck
Die Scaleson Personenwaage S220 ist für das Wiegen von Personen konzipiert und ist für nicht
eichfähige Anwendungen vorgesehen.
3.3 Sicherheitshinweis

Bitte lesen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme die in der Gebrauchsanweisung aufgeführten Informationen
sorgfältig durch. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für die Installation, die bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung und die Wartung des Gerätes. Der Hersteller haftet nicht, wenn nachstehende Hinweise
nicht beachtet werden. Bei unsachgemäßer Installation entfällt die Gewährleistung.
f Die Waage darf nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen eingesetzt werden.
f Die Waage darf nur von geschulten Servicetechnikern geöffnet werden. Es gibt keine vom
Verwender zu wartenden Teile im Gehäuse.
f Das Gerät ist ein Messinstrument. Luftzug, Vibrationen, schnelle Temperaturänderungen und
Sonneneinstrahlung können zur Beeinussung des Wägeergebnisses führen.
3.4 Reinigung
Zum Reinigen genügt ein feuchtes Tuch und handelsübliche Reinigungsmittel.
Keine scheuernden Mittel verwenden. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Flüssigkeit in das Terminal
eindringt.
3.5 Wartung und Service
Die Waage bedarf keiner routinemäßigen Wartung. Es ist jedoch sinnvoll die Genauigkeit in
periodischen Abständen zu kontrollieren. Die Häugkeit hängt von Einsatz und dem Zustand der Waage
ab. Bei festgestellten Abweichungen kontaktieren sie bitte Ihren Händler oder den Hersteller.

3.6 Garantie / Gewährleistung / Haftung
Soweit ein vom Hersteller zu vertretender Mangel der gelieferten Sache vorliegt, ist der Hersteller
berechtigt, wahlweise den Mangel entweder zu beseitigen oder Ersatz zu liefern. Ersetzte Teile werden
Eigentum des Herstellers. Schlägt die Mangelbeseitigung oder Ersatzlieferung fehl, gelten die
gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.
Die Garantiezeit beträgt 24 Monate und beginnt am Tag des Ersterwerbs des Produkts.
Bitte bewahren Sie die Rechnung als Nachweis auf. Im Servicefall kontaktieren Sie bitte Ihren Händler
oder den Hersteller-Kundendienst.
Keine Gewähr wird insbesondere übernommen für Schäden, die aus den nachfolgenden Gründen
entstehen: Ungeeignete, unsachgemäße Lagerung oder Verwendung, fehlerhafte Montage bzw.
Inbetriebsetzung durch den Besteller oder durch Dritte, natürliche Abnutzung, Veränderung oder
Eingriffe, fehlerhafte oder nachlässige Behandlung, insbesondere übermäßige Beanspruchung,
chemische, elektrochemische, elektrische Einüsse oder Feuchtigkeit, sofern diese nicht auf ein
Verschulden des Herstellers zurückzuführen sind. Sollten betriebliche, klimatische oder sonstige
Einüsse zu einer wesentlichen Veränderung der Verhältnisse oder des Materialzustandes führen,
entfällt die Gewährleistung für die einwandfreie Gesamtfunktion der Geräte.
Bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung für einen eventuellen Rücktransport auf!
3.7 Entsorgung der Waage
Die Waage enthält nach dem derzeitigen Wissensstand keine besonderen umweltgefährdenden Stoffe.
Die Waage ist nicht als normaler Abfall zu behandeln, sondern muss an einer Annahmestelle für das
Recycling von Metallschrott abgegeben werden.
Weitere Informationen erhalten Sie über Ihre Gemeinde oder bei den kommunalen Entsorgungsbetrie-
ben.

Schützen Sie das Gerät durch Wahl des Aufstellungsortes vor Stößen, Vibrationen, starker Wärme oder
Kälte, Luftzug, Chemikalien und Nässe.
f Stellen Sie die Waage auf einen festen, freien und waagerechten Untergrund.
f Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Kabel oder andere Gegenstände unter der Waage eingeklemmt
werden.
f Entfernen Sie die beiden Transportsicherungen auf der Unterseite der Waage.

Das manuelle Nullstellen korrigiert kleine Abweichungen vom Nullpunkt.
Stellen Sie mit Hilfe des Stellrades die Kreiszeigeranzeige auf „Null“. Das Stellrad bendet sich mittig
unterhalb der Vorderkante der Wägeplattform.

Betreten Sie die Waage.
Stehen Sie ruhig und mit beiden Füßen auf der Wägeplattform.
Das ermittelte Gewicht wird Ihnen unmittelbar angezeigt.

This instruction manual describes all the commissioning and operation of the Scaleson personal scale
S220.
2. Warnings
f Contact your dealer or the manufacturer in the event of a malfunction. Unauthorized
modications or repairs can damage the terminal and can cause the manufacturer‘s warranty
to be null and void.
f Disconnect the scale from electrical power prior to installation, cleaning or service.
f If the scale is not used for an extended period of time, please remove the batteries.
f Avoid stacking materials on the scale or loading the scale with excessive weights. This can lead
to damage.
f Position the scale on a rm, stable and level surface to ensure accurate measurements.
Measurement results will deviate on carpeting or inclined surfaces.
f Do not connect the scale to an unstable power supply.
f Only use the original equipment. Using products made by other manufacturers might cause
damage to the scale.

The Scaleson personal scale S220 is designed for weighing people and is intended for non-calibratable
applications.
3.3 Safety Instructions

Before operating the scale, please read the information shown in the user manual with care. These
contain important information about the installation, the intended uses and maintenance of the scale.
The manufacturer is not liable if the following instructions are not observed.
f The scale may not be used in potentially explosive areas.
f The scale may only be opened by trained service technicians. There are no user-serviceable parts
in the housing.
f The device is a measurement instrument. Airow, vibrations, rapid temperature changes and sun
exposure can inuence the weighing result.
3.4 Cleaning
A damp cloth and standard cleaning agents are sufcient for cleaning.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. Make sure that no liquid penetrates into the scale.
3.5 Maintenance and service
The scale requires no routine maintenance. However, it is advisable to check the accuracy at periodic
intervals. The frequency depends on the use and condition of the scale. If deviations are found, please
contact your dealer or the manufacturer.

3.6 Guarantee / Warranty / Liability
When a defect in the delivered item is attributable to the manufacturer, the manufacturer is entitled at
its discretion to either remedy the defect or to supply a replacement. Replaced parts become the
manufacturer‘s property. The statutory regulations apply if the defect remedy or replacement deliveries
fail.
The guarantee period is 24 months and begins on the date of initial purchase. Please retain the invoice
as proof. For service contact your dealer or your Soehnle Industrial Solutions service partner.
No liability is assumed in particular for losses resulting for the following reasons: Unsuited,
inappropriate storage or use, defective assembly and / or startup by the buyer or third parties, normal
wear and tear, modications or manipulations, decient or careless treatment, in particular excessive
loads, chemical, electrochemical, electrical inuences or moisture, provided these are not attributable
to the manufacturer. The product warranty for the unrestricted overall function of the equipment is null
and void if operational, climatic or other inuences result in a signicant change of circumstances or
the condition of the material.
Please keep the original packaging for any required shipping!
3.7 Disposal of the scale
Based on the current standard of knowledge, the scale contains no special environmentally hazardous
materials. The scale is not to be treated as normal waste, but must be handed in at a collection point
for the recycling of metal scrap.

choosing a location where it will be installed.

centrally below the front edge of the weighing platform.

Un chiffon humide et des produits de nettoyage courants sufsent pour le nettoyage.

3.7 Élimination de la balance

3.7 Smaltimento della bilancia
In base agli attuali standard di conoscenza, la bilancia non contiene particolari materiali pericolosi per
l‘ambiente. La bilancia non deve essere trattata come un normale riuto, ma deve essere consegnata
in un punto di raccolta per il riciclaggio dei rottami metallici.

L‘azzeramento manuale corregge piccole deviazioni dal punto zero.
Con l‘aiuto della rotella di regolazione, impostare il display del puntatore circolare su „zero“. La rotella di
regolazione si trova al centro sotto il bordo anteriore della piattaforma di pesatura.

S220.
2. Advertencias
f Póngase en contacto con su distribuidor o con el fabricante en caso de que se produzca un
fallo de funcionamiento. Las modicaciones o reparaciones no autorizadas pueden dañar el
terminal y pueden causar la anulación de la garantía del fabricante.
f Desconecte la báscula de la corriente eléctrica antes de su instalación, limpieza o servicio.
f Si la báscula no se utiliza durante un período de tiempo prolongado, por favor, retire las pilas.
f Evite apilar materiales en la báscula o cargarla con pesos excesivos. Esto puede provocar
daños.
f Coloca la escala en una supercie rme, estable y nivelada para asegurar mediciones precisas.
Los resultados de las mediciones se desviarán en alfombras o supercies inclinadas.
f No conecte la báscula a una fuente de alimentación inestable.
f Sólo use el equipo original. El uso de productos fabricados por otros fabricantes podría causar
daños en la báscula.

La báscula personal S220 está diseñada para pesar personas y está destinada a aplicaciones no
calibrables.
3.3 Instrucciones de seguridad

Antes de utilizar la báscula, lea atentamente la información que aparece en el manual de instrucciones.
Éstas contienen información importante sobre la instalación, los usos previstos y el mantenimiento de
la báscula. El fabricante no se responsabiliza si no se observan las siguientes instrucciones.
f La báscula no puede utilizarse en zonas potencialmente explosivas.
f La báscula sólo puede ser abierta por técnicos de servicio capacitados. En la carcasa no hay
piezas que puedan ser reparadas por el usuario.
f El dispositivo es un instrumento de medición. El ujo de aire, las vibraciones, los cambios rápidos
de temperatura y la exposición al sol pueden inuir en el resultado del pesaje.
3.4 Limpieza
Un paño húmedo y agentes de limpieza estándar son sucientes para la limpieza.
No utilice agentes de limpieza abrasivos. Asegúrese de que ningún líquido penetre en la báscula.
3.5 Mantenimiento y servicio
La báscula no requiere un mantenimiento rutinario. Sin embargo, es aconsejable comprobar la
precisión a intervalos periódicos. La frecuencia depende del uso y el estado de la escala. Si se detectan
desviaciones, póngase en contacto con su distribuidor o con el fabricante.
