TOWED WATER UNIT

DESCRIPTION
A useful small water tanker for watering trees, shrubs and plants in dry weather.
The tanker may also be used for carrying drinking water to animals.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Check the unit is securely and correctly attached to the towing vehicle.
Never ride on the Waterer.
Always keep the unit in a safe place
Do not exceed 5mph (7km/h).
Avoid steep gradients and uneven ground.
Beware of surges when on uneven ground.
Park on level ground and use jack leg when stationary.

IMPORTANT
DO NOT RUN THE PUMP WITHOUT WATER.
Do not use the pump in water temperatures above 60 degrees.
The pumps maximum speed has been pre-set and must not be altered.
Protect the unit from frost.
Do not leave water in the pump if there is a danger of freezing.
Keep the filter on the suction hose clean.
This machine is designed for watering purposes only and not suitable
for human consumption.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Connect the orange lead to your power supply
(brown to +, blue to -).
2. Fill the tank with water.
THE PUMP
The pump can be used for quite long periods of time when inwater, but it is
suggested that running periods should be restricted to a maximum of 15 minutes.
To obtain efficient running and maximum life note the following points:
-Before switching on, place the pump in water and shake for a few
seconds in a horizontal or inverted position to release air.
-Check that all hose connections are airtight.
-Check that the power supply is at or close to 12 volts. Reduced voltage
(i.e. a weak battery) or wire of less than 1.5 thickness will give a
reduced pump performance.
-Ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the tank to prevent a
vacuum building up, causing restricted flow. Any cap fitting must have
ventilation of at least 3/16” (5mm) diameter.
-The pump is guaranteed for 1 year against defects in materials and
workmanship provided that the pump case in no opened or the pump
otherwise abused.
WARRANTY
Your unit is guaranteed for 12 months from date of purchase. This guarantee
covers faults which may occur from defective parts or manufacture.
