MAINTENANCE
Wash down after use, do not pressure wash the bearings on the
crumble roller.
Grease the screw jacks and all moving parts at regular intervals.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
Maintenance of your arena surface is one of the most important activities you can
carry out to maintain its importance.
Use a vehicle that does not have agricultural tyres as they can dig up the surface.
Keep heavy vehicles off the surface except of maintenance purposes.
Try to pick up horse droppings and other debris prior to raking, to help prevent
contamination.
The grooming rake is not designed to correct un-level surfaces, major tracking or
dips due to jumping etc, must be hand raked first.
Always try to vary the location of the starting position.
Work at a fairly brisk pace.
Setting the tines shallower will result in a firmer riding surface and vice versa.
Sand based Surfaces should be kept damp at all times.
