Medical - oers a total of six, scienti-
fically proven and dermatologically
tested, programmes for the eective
treatment of pain and skin problems.
SQOOM is an innovative microcompu-
ter-controlled treatment using highly
developed active gels to regenerate
the skin from deep within. The world-
wide patented synchron technology
features a unique combination of ionto-
phoresis with ultrasound and active
cosmetics. The gentle treatment process
regenerates the connective tissue,
eectively improving the skin structure

Transducer
Apply a generous amount of gel here.
Control light
The indicator light on the back of the
SQOOM flashes regularly to indicate
that it is in operation (only when in
contact with skin).
For the best results please use the SQOOM system with the treatment gels deve-
loped by us. We accept no liability for results when using cosmetics or medicines
produced by others.

Press the button once to activate and/or
deactivate the device.
Selection MODE
Select, whether you want a treatment in
ultrasonic, ion or synchron technology mode
here.
Green LED: Ion mode
Red LED : Ultrasonic mode
Program button STEP
Pressing the select button enables you to
activate one of 6 programmes.
Battery control light
Charge the device until the
control light glows green.
Conact handles right and left
Always hold your SQOOM,
touching the contact handles on both sides.
Intensity LOW/HIGH
Activate the intensity LOW/HIGH
by pressing this button.
The LED display shows you the
current intensity range.
Charging station
Put the device back into the
charging station after every treatment.
This way you always can be sure to always
have your SQOOM ready for action.

Clean your skin as usual before each
treatment programme. Next, generous-
ly apply the active gel directly onto
the transducer or the skin area to be
treated, depending on the selected
programme.
Now, choose the appropriate treatment
programme and hold the SQOOM firmly
on both sides, touching the contact
handles. Lay the transducer on the skin
area to be treated and move it softly
over the skin in slow circles.
Please note: If you are treating some-
one else with your SQOOM, be sure
to touch them with your free hand to
ensure proper operation of the system.

Anti-inflammatory and skin
soothing through salicylic acid
and cimicifuga.
· Natural salicylic acid obtained
from willow bark, disinfec-
ting and keratolytic, opening
keratinised pores.
· Skin soothing and inflam-
mation-retarding through
magnolol obtained from
magnolia.
· Cimicifuga blocks the enzyme
„5-alpha reductase“, respon-
sible for the formation of
acne and works as a regulator
on the sebum production of
the sebaceous glands.
· Mildly disinfecting through
bio-alcohol.

Application programmes

Please observe the following instructions
for the long service life of your device.

· Store in a dry place and do not
wash with water.
· Clean the transducer with a
damp cloth.
· Place the device into the char-
ging dock after switching-o
and make sure the red LED
light glows.
· The red LED light turns green
when the charging process
has been completed. In the
case of charging errors, the
red LED will flash.
· If the battery is completely
empty charge it for at least 3
hours before using the device
again.
· When completely charged the
power will last for approxima-
tely 4 hours.
· Keep the STEP button pressed
for about 3 seconds to indica-
te the charging status of the
battery. If the 6 LED program-
me lights glow the device is
fully charged. If only 2 LED
lights glow, the remaining
battery power is 30 minutes.
A signal tone indicates the
battery needs to be recharged.
· The device will automatically
switch-o after 2 minutes if
not in use.
· The preset application time
of each step is 4 minutes.
A signal tone sounds after
4 minutes and the device
switches to standby mode.
The device will switch-o
completely if not reactivated
within 2 minutes.
· The nominal input voltage
is 100-240 V AC, meaning
that you use the device while
travelling everywhere around
the world.
· Remove the power plug from
the charging station as soon
as the device has been char-
ged completely.
· Always keep electrical con-
tacts clean, free of dust and
dry.
Maintenance, recharging, environmental
protection

For recycling reasons, the
device should not be disposed
of with normal household
waste at the end of its service
life. You can dispose the device
by returning to Schick Medical
GmbH or corresponding collec-
tion points.

Do not treat one area for longer
than 20 minutes a day.
Do not apply SQOOM to areas
of skin aected by skin cancer
or surgery.
Do not apply SQOOM when
wearing a cardiac pacemaker.
In case of a thyroid hyper func-
tion, do not apply SQOOM
onto the front neck or chest
area.
Do not apply SQOOM near
joints implants, as this may
cause pain.
Do not use SQOOM on the
abdomen or chest area during
pregnancy.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
Keep the device and the gel/
cream away from children.
Do not store the gel/cream at
temperatures exceeding 25 ºC.
