Caring for your
Silensor-sl
The Silensor-sl is a high-quality product made
from strong and durable materials.
Regular cleaning has been proven to prolong the
longevity and functionality of your Silensor-sl , as
well as keeping it hygienic and safe to use on a
nightly basis.
Thorough cleaning will keep your Silensor-sl
in good condition for longer, reducing the need
for replacement and ensuring that you get the best
value for money.

Guide for caring & cleaning your
Silensor-sl
For best results use Oxydens
cleaning tablets or soap.
Strongly perfumed soaps
are not advised.
DO NOT USE:
lToothpaste (contains abrasive particles).
lMouthwash solutions (can cause discolouring).
lWater that is hotter than 50oC (can cause
deformation).
lSolvent-based cleaning agents (can cause
delamination).
AFTER USE
lWash well with water.
lThoroughly clean your Silensor-sl with a soft tooth
brush (never one used with toothpaste) and soap.
lRinse well with water.
lShake off the water and leave to dry completely.
lKeep your Silensor-sl in a dry place such as an
aeratated denture box.
lNever blow-dry (can cause deformation).
lWash again with water before use.
GENERATION OF BAD SMELLS
If your Silensor-sl has developed a strong smell, soak for
1 hour in a denture cleaning solution or non-perfumed,
concentrated soap solution. Then wash thoroughly with
wash, after which the smell should be good.
DISCOLOURING
The materials used to produce your Silensor-sl can
discolour. This discolouration can be reduced or avoided
by careful cleaning, but it cannot be reversed.
Mouthwashes and amalgam fillings can also cause
