(1) EINFÜHRUNG
Herzlichen Glückwunsch und vielen Dank für den Kauf dieses Schwaiger Blue-
tooth®Lautsprechers.
Diese Bedienungsanleitung soll Ihnen bei dem Umgang und der Bedienung mit
dem Lautsprecher helfen.
Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich vorab mit den jeweiligen Bluetooth®
Funktionen Ihres Abspielgerätes vertraut gemacht haben, um eventuelle Feh-
lerquellen ausschließen zu können.

(3) ANSCHLÜSSE & BEDIENTASTEN
Während des Ladevorgangs blinkt eine LED-Anzeige links neben der Einschalt-
taste des Lautsprechers rot auf. Wenn der Lautsprecher vollständig aufgeladen
ist, wechselt diese auf einen blauen Status. Der Lautsprecher kann während
des Ladevorgangs ganz normal bedient & verwendet werden.

Verbindungsaufbau via Bluetooth®
Der Schwaiger LS500BT erfüllt den Bluetooth®2.1 + EDR Standard und unter-
stützt folgende Profile:
Advanced Audio Distribution-Profil (A2DP)
Audio/Video Remote Control-Profil (AVRCP)
Hands Free-Profil (HFP)
Hinweis
Beim Einschalten versucht der Lautsprecher automatisch mit den beiden
zuletzt verwendeten Bluetooth®Geräten eine Verbindung aufzubauen.
Wenn Sie den Lautsprecher mit einem weiteren Gerät paaren möchten,
wird das Verbindungsprofil des am weniger verwendeten Bluetooth®Ge-
räts überschrieben.
Ablauf
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass ihr Bluetooth®-fähiges Endgerät eingeschaltet ist und
die Bluetooth®Funktion aktiviert ist.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass ihr Bluetooth®-fähiges Endgerät für andere Bluetoo-
th®Geräte sichtbar ist.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Lautsprecher sich innerhalb der Bluetooth®Reich-
weite von max. 10 Metern befindet.
(1) Drücken Sie nun die POWER Taste um den Lautsprecher einzuschalten. Ein
Signalton bestätigt die Betriebsbereitschaft. Der Lautsprecher sucht auto-
matisch nach einer Verbindung. Parallel hierzu blinkt eine blaue LED-Anzei-
ge auf. (Links neben der POWER Taste)
(2) Öffnen Sie auf ihrem Endgerät die Bluetooth®Einstellungen und warten Sie
bis in der Liste der Bluetooth®Lautsprecher LS500BT erscheint. Wählen
Sie LS500BT aus und warten Sie, bis ein Signalton ertönt und der Laut-
sprecher als verbunden in den Bluetooth®Einstellungen ihres Endgerätes
angezeigt wird. Starten und beenden Sie die Audio-Wiedergabe auf ihrem
Endgerät oder mit PLAY/PAUSE am Lautsprecher.
Hinweis
Bei manchen mobilen Geräten kann es vorkommen, dass ein zusätzliches
Passwort eigegeben werden muss. In diesem Fall geben Sie bitte „0000” ein.
Freisprechfunktion
EsbestehtdieMöglichkeit,denLautsprecherwieeineFreisprecheinrichtungfürihr
Mobiltelefon zu verwenden. Das Mobiltelefon muss für diese Funktion über Blue-
tooth®mit dem Lautsprecher verbunden sein.
Geht ein Anruf auf Ihrem Mobiltelefon ein, ertönt der Klingelton ihres Mobilte-
lefons auf dem Lautsprecher. Drücken Sie nun die Hörertaste, um den Anruf
anzunehmen. Drücken Sie erneut die Hörertaste, um den Anruf zu beenden.
Hinweis
Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich mit Ihrem Mobiltelefon während eines
Anrufes in der Nähe des Lautsprechers befinden, um die Gesprächsqualität
zu erhöhen.

(4) ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
Laden des integrierten Akkus
Vor der ersten Verwendung des Lautsprechers muss der Akku mindestens
2-3 Stunden lang aufgeladen werden, um eine optimale Akkukapazität und
-lebensdauer zu gewährleisten.
Es wird empfohlen, zum Laden des Lautsprechers nur das mitgelieferte Micro-
USB-Kabel zu verwenden. Wenn Sie den Lautsprecher über ein externes
USB-Netzteil laden, wird empfohlen, ein Netzteil mit einer Nennleistung von
500 mA oder höher zu verwenden.

(6) REINIGUNG & WARTUNG
Reinigen Sie dieses Produkt nur mit einem fusselfreien, leicht feuchten Tuch
und verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Reiniger. Achten Sie darauf, dass kein
Wasser in das Produkt eindringt.
(7) ALLGEMEINE FUNKTIONEN

Einschalten Drücken Sie die POWER Taste um den Lautsprecher einzuschalten.
Ausschalten Drücken Sie die POWER Taste um den Lautsprecher auszuschalten.
MUSIK:
Start/ Pause Drücken Sie den -Knopf einmal kurz um die Musik zu un-
terbrechen. Ein erneutes Drücken bewirkt eine Aufhebung der
Pausenfunktion. Die Musik spielt weiter.
Lautstärke + Halten Sie die VOL + Taste gedrückt um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen.
Lautstärke - Halten Sie die VOL - Taste gedrückt um die Lautstärke zu reduzieren.
Nächstes Lied Drücken und halten Sie die VOL + Taste länger gedrückt

loudspeaker.
This operating manual will help you to handle and use the loudspeaker.
Please first ensure that you have familiarized yourself with the Bluetooth®func-
tions of your main device to eliminate any sources of error.

(3) ASSIGNMENT OF BUTTONS (4) INITIAL COMMISSIONING
Charging the integrated battery
Before using the loudspeaker the first time, the battery must be charged for at
least 2-3 hours to ensure optimum battery capacity and life.
We recommend that only the accompanying Micro-USB cable should be used
for charging the loudspeaker. If you charge the loudspeaker from an external
USB power supply, we recommend that the power supply used should have a
rating of 500 mA or more.
During the charging process, the LED indicator on the left side of the POWER
button glows red. When the loudspeaker is fully charged, the LED glows blue.
The loudspeaker can be operated and used as usual while it is being charged.

(5) MODE OF OPERATION
Audio playback via Bluetooth®
The Schwaiger LS500BT meets the Bluetooth®2.1 + EDR standard and sup-
ports the following profiles:
Advanced Audio Distribution profile (A2DP)
Audio/Video Remote Control profile (AVRCP)
Hands Free profile (HFP)
Note
Upon switching on, the loudspeaker automatically tries to set up a con-
nection with the last two Bluetooth®units used. If you wish to pair the
loudspeaker with another unit, the connection profile of the lesser used
Bluetooth®unit is overwritten.
Procedure
• Make sure that your Bluetooth®capable device is on and the Bluetooth®
function activated.
• Make sure that your Bluetooth®capable device is visible for other Bluetooth®
Devices.
• Make sure that the loudspeaker is located within the Bluetooth range of max.
10 m.
(1) Press the POWER button to turn on the loudspeaker. The device emits a
sound to indicate that it is ready for operation. The loudspeaker automati-
cally searches for a connection. The blue LED indicator flashes. (at the left
side of the POWER button)
(2) Open the Bluetooth®settings on your mobile device and wait until
LS500BT appears in the list of Bluetooth®devices found. Select LS500BT
and wait until you hear the speaker emit a sound and the speaker is listed
as connected in the Bluetooth®settings on your mobile device. Start and
stop audio playback on your mobile device or using PLAY/PAUSE on the
loudspeaker.
Note
With some mobile devices, it can happen that an additional password has
to be input. In that case, please input “0000”.
Hands-free function
You can use the loudspeaker as hands-free set for your mobile phone. For this
function, the mobile phone must be connected to the loudspeaker via Blue-
tooth®.
If you received a phone call the ringtone of your mobile device will be played
via the loudspeaker. Press the phone button to accept the call. Press the phone
button again to end call.
Note
To increase the call quality, make sure that you are near the loudspeaker
with your mobile phone during the call.
(6) CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth and do not use
aggressive cleaning agents.
(7) GENERAL FUNCTIONS

(3) RACCORDEMENTS ET BOUTONS DE COMMANDE
(2) Ouvrez les paramètres Bluetooth®sur votre appareil final et attendez que
le haut-parleur Bluetooth®LS500BT apparaisse dans la liste. Sélectionnez
le LS500BT et attendez qu‘un signal sonore retentisse et que le haut-par-
leur soit affiché comme connecté dans les paramètres Bluetooth®de votre
appareil final. Démarrez et terminez la lecture audio sur votre appareil final
ou à l‘aide de PLAY/PAUSE du haut-parleur.
Remarque
Il peut arriver que pour certains appareils mobiles il faille entrer un mot de
passe supplémentaire. Veuillez entrer dans ce cas-là << 0000 >>
Fonction mains libres
Il existe la possibilité de se servir du haut-parleur comme d’un kit mains libres
pour votre téléphone portable. Le téléphone portable doit être connecté au
haut-parleur via Bluetooth®pour cette fonction.
Si un appel arrive sur votre téléphone portable, la sonnerie de votre téléphone
portable retentit sur votre haut-parleur. Appuyez maintenant sur la touche du
combiné pour prendre l‘appel. Appuyez de nouveau sur la touche du combiné
pour terminer l‘appel.
Remarque
Veillez à vous trouver toujours à proximité du haut-parleur avec votre té-
léphone portable pendant un appel pour augmenter la qualité de la conver-
sation.
(6) NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Ne nettoyez ce produit qu‘avec un tissu légèrement humidifié sans peluche et
n‘utilisez pas de produit nettoyant agressif. Veillez à ce que l‘eau ne pénètre
pas dans le produit.

(4) PREMIÈRE MISE EN SERVICE
Chargement de la batterie intégrée
Avant d‘utiliser le haut-parleur pour la première fois, il faut charger la batterie
2 à 3 heures minimum pour garantir une capacité et une durée de vie de la
batterie optimale.
Il est recommandé de n‘utiliser que le micro câble USB du haut-parleur fourni
à la livraison pour charger. Si vous chargez le haut-parleur via un adaptateur
réseau USB externe, il est recommandé d‘utiliser un adaptateur réseau dont la
puissance nominale est de 500mA ou supérieure.
Pendant le processus de chargement un voyant LED clignote en rouge à gauche
à côté du bouton d‘allumage du haut-parleur. Une fois que le haut-parleur est
totalement chargé, celui-ci passe à un statut bleu. Le haut-parleur peut être uti-
lisé et fonctionne tout à fait normalement pendant le processus de chargement.
(5) MODE DE FONCTIONNEMENT
Établissement d‘une connexion via Bluetooth
Le LS500BT de Schwaiger satisfait la norme Bluetooth®2.1 + norme EDR et
supporte les profils suivants :

Audio/Video Remote Control-Profil (AVRCP)
Hands Free-Profil (HFP)
Remarque
Lors de l‘allumage, le haut-parleur tente d‘établir automatiquement une
connexion entre les deux appareils Bluetooth®utilisés en dernier. Si vous
souhaitez apparier le haut-parleur avec un autre appareil, cela effacera le
profil de connexion de l‘appareil Bluetooth®le moins utilisé.
Déroulement
• Assurez-vous que votre appareil final supportant Bluetooth®est allumé et
que la fonction Bluetooth®est activée.
• Assurez-vous que votre appareil final supportant Bluetooth®est visible pour
d‘autres appareils Bluetooth.
• Assurez-vous que le haut-parleur se trouve à une portée maxi. de 10 mètres
du Bluetooth®.
(1) Appuyez maintenant sur le bouton POWER pour allumer le haut-parleur.
Un signal sonore confirme que le haut-parleur est prêt à fonctionner. Le
haut-parleur cherche automatiquement une connexion. Un voyant LED
bleu clignote en parallèle à ce propos. (À gauche à côté du bouton POWER)

Ricarica della batteria integrata
Per ottenere prestazioni ottimali e una lunga vita della batteria, prima di utiliz-
zare l‘altoparlante per la prima volta è necessario lasciare la batteria in carica
per almeno 2-3 ore.
Per la ricarica dell’altoparlante, si raccomanda di utilizzare esclusivamente il
cavo di ricarica micro USB incluso nella fornitura. Se l’altoparlante viene cari-
cato mediante un alimentatore USB esterno, si consiglia di utilizzare un alimen-
tatore con potenza nominale pari a 500 mA o superiore.
Durante la carica comparirà un LED rosso lampeggiante nella parte sinistra
dell’altoparlante, di fianco al tasto di accensione. Quando la carica è completa,
il LED diventa di colore blu. Durante la carica, l’altoparlante può essere messo
in funzione e utilizzato normalmente.

L’altoparlante LS500BT di Schwaiger è conforme allo standard Bluetooth®2.1

Nota
Al momento dell’accensione, l’altoparlante proverà a stabilire automatica-
mente una connessione con gli ultimi due dispositivi Bluetooth®utilizzati.
Se si vuole associare l’altoparlante a un altro dispositivo, verrà sovrascritto
il profilo di connessione del dispositivo Bluetooth®meno utilizzato.
Procedimento
• Accertarsi che il proprio terminale con tecnologia Bluetooth sia acceso e che
la funzione Bluetooth sia stata attivata.
• Verificare che il terminale sia visibile per altri dispositivi Bluetooth.
• Accertarsi che l’altoparlante sia collocato nel raggio operativo del Bluetooth,
ovvero a una distanza massima di 10 metri.
(1) Premere il tasto POWER per accendere l’altoparlante. Un segnale acustico
avvisa che il dispositivo è operativo. L’altoparlante ricerca automaticamen-
te una connessione e, allo stesso tempo, inizia a lampeggiare un LED di
colore blu (a sinistra, di fianco al tasto POWER).
(2) Aprire il menu Impostazioni Bluetooth sul proprio terminale e attendere
che nell’elenco compaia l’altoparlante Bluetooth LS500BT. Selezionare
LS500BT, attendere il segnale acustico, quindi verificare che nelle Im-
postazioni Bluetooth l’altoparlante risulti collegato al proprio terminale. La
riproduzione audio può essere avviata o interrotta dal proprio terminale
oppure utilizzando il tasto PLAY/PAUSE sull’altoparlante.
Nota
In alcuni dispositivi mobili potrebbe capitare di dover inserire una password
supplementare. In tal caso inserire „0000”.

Funzione vivavoce
È possibile utilizzare l’altoparlante come dispositivo vivavoce per il proprio tele-
fono cellulare. Per avvalersi di questa funzione, è necessario che il telefono sia
collegato con l’altoparlante tramite Bluetooth.
All’arrivo di una chiamata, si sentirà la suoneria del telefono attraverso l’altopar-
lante. Per accettare la chiamata, basta premere il tasto con il simbolo della cor-
netta telefonica. Premere nuovamente il tasto per terminare la conversazione.
Nota
Durante la chiamata, assicurarsi di utilizzare il telefono cellulare in prossi-
mità dell’altoparlante, in modo che la qualità della conversazione sia otti-
male.
(6) PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Per la pulizia del dispositivo, impiegare un panno leggermente umido e che non
lasci pelucchi, non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi. Prestare attenzione a non

Se usate in modo corretto, le batterie ricaricabili agli ioni di litio e ai polimeri
di litio sono una fonte di alimentazione sicura e affidabile per tutti i dispositivi

Opladen van de interne batterij
Voor het eerste gebruik van de luidspreker dient de batterij minstens 2 tot 3
uur lang te worden opgeladen om een optimale capaciteit en levensduur te
garanderen.
Het is aan te bevelen om voor het opladen van de luidspreker alleen de mee-
geleverde micro-USB-kabel te gebruiken. Als u de luidspreker via een externe
USB-voeding oplaadt, is het aan te bevelen om een voeding met een stroom-
capaciteit van 500 mA of meer te gebruiken.

Tijdens het opladen knippert er linksboven naast de aan/uit-knop van de luid-
spreker een rood LED-lampje. Zodra de luidspreker volledig is opgeladen,
wordt dit blauw. De luidspreker kan tijdens het opladen gewoon worden bedi-
end en gebruikt.

Opmerking
Bij het inschakelen probeert de luidspreker automatisch een verbinding te
leggen met de twee meest recent gebruikte Bluetooth®-apparaten. Als u de
luidspreker met een ander apparaat wilt verbinden, wordt het verbindings-
profiel van het minst gebruikte Bluetooth-apparaat overschreven.
Procedure
• Zorg ervoor dat uw Bluetooth-apparaat is ingeschakeld en de Bluetooth-func-
tie is geactiveerd.
• Zorg ervoor dat uw Bluetooth-apparaat zichtbaar is voor andere Blue-
tooth-apparaten.
• Zorg ervoor dat de luidspreker zich binnen het maximale Bluetooth-bereik
van 10 meter bevindt.
(1) Druk op de power-knop om de luidspreker aan te zetten. Een pieptoon
bevestigt dat het apparaat klaar is voor gebruik. De luidspreker zoekt au-
tomatisch naar een verbinding. Er gaat tevens een blauwe LED knipperen.

(2) Open de Bluetooth-instellingen op uw apparaat en wacht tot er in de li-
jst de Bluetooth-luidspreker LS500BT wordt weergegeven. Selecteer de
LS500BT en wacht tot u een pieptoon hoort en de luidspreker onder de
Bluetooth-instellingen van uw apparaat als verbonden wordt weergegeven.
Start en stop de audioweergave op uw apparaat of met de knop PLAY/
PAUSE op de luidspreker.
Opmerking
Bij sommige mobiele apparaten kan het voorkomen dat er een wachtwoord
moet worden ingevoerd. Voer in dit geval ‚0000‘ in.
Handsfree-functie
Het is mogelijk om de luidspreker te gebruiken als handsfree systeem voor uw
mobiele telefoon. De mobiele telefoon dient voor deze functie via Bluetooth®
met de luidspreker verbonden te zijn.
Als er op uw mobiele telefoon een gesprek binnenkomt, wordt de beltoon van
uw mobiele telefoon via de luidspreker weergegeven. Druk nu op de telefoon-
knop om het gesprek aan te nemen. Druk opnieuw op de telefoonknop om het
gesprek te beëindigen.
Opmerking
Zorg ervoor dat u zich met uw mobiele telefoon tijdens een gesprek in de
buurt van de luidspreker bevindt om de gesprekskwaliteit te verbeteren.
(6) REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
Reinig dit product alleen met een enigszins vochtige, pluisvrije doek en gebruik
geen agressieve reinigingsmiddelen. Zorg ervoor dat er geen water in het ap-
paraat terecht komt.

(9) VERHELPEN VAN STORINGEN

Sicherheits- und Aufstellhinweise
Alle von uns vertriebenen Geräte entsprechen den bei Kauf gültigen Sicherheits-
bestimmungen und sind bei bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch grundsätzlich si-
cher! Beachten Sie bitte die nachfolgenden Hinweise, um mögliche Gefahren, Be-
schädigungen oder Fehlfunktionen zu vermeiden:
Hinweise zum Aufstellungsort
Die beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme muss durch ausreichende Luftzirkulation
abgeführt werden. Deshalb darf das Gerät nicht abgedeckt oder in einem ge-
schlossenen Schrank untergebracht werden. Um sowohl Beschädigungen am
Gerät als auch mögliche Folgeschäden zu vermeiden, dürfen für Wandmontage
vorgesehene Geräte nur auf einer ebenen Grundfläche montiert werden. Stellen
Sie sicher, dass die Lüftungsschlitze und Kühlkörper am Gerät nicht abgedeckt
sind z.B. durch daraufliegende Zeitungen, Tischdecken oder Gardinen. Dies könn-
te möglicherweise zu einem Gerätebrand führen. Durch die Wärmeentwicklung
des Gerätes können in Verbindung mit Möbeloberflächen Farbveränderungen
hervorgerufen werden. Stellen Sie das Gerät gegebenenfalls auf eine geeignete
Unterlage. Sorgen Sie für einen Freiraum von mindestens 10 cm um das Gerät.
Heizungen oder andere Wärmequellen in Gerätenähe können zu Fehlfunktionen
oder Beschädigungen des Gerätes führen. Es dürfen keine offenen Brandquellen,
wie z.B. brennende Kerzen auf das Gerät gestellt werden. Der Standort darf nicht

Sonneneinstrahlung aus. Wird das Gerät von einem kalten an einen warmen Ort
gebracht kann Kondensfeuchtigkeit im Gerät entstehen. Das Gerät deshalb ei-
nige Stunden ausgeschaltet lassen. Stellen Sie keine Behälter mit Flüssigkeit,
z.B. Blumenvasen, auf das Gerät. Diese könnten umfallen, und die auslaufende
Flüssigkeit kann zu erheblicher Beschädigung bzw. zum Risiko eines elektrischen
Schlages führen. Das Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von Geräten aufgestellt werden,
die starke Magnetfelder erzeugen (z.B. Motoren, Lautsprecher, Transformatoren).
Hinweise zum Netzanschluss
Bei Geräten mit mitgeliefertem Steckernetzteil verwenden Sie ausschließlich das
mitgelieferte Original-Steckernetzteil! Das Steckernetzteil/der Netzstecker darf
nur an eine Netzspannung von 230 V~/50 Hz angeschlossen werden. Das Stecker-
netzteil/der Netzstecker muss jederzeit erreichbar und leicht zugänglich sein, um
das Gerät vom Netz trennen zu können. Zuleitungskabel dürfen nicht durch irgend-
welche Gegenstände beschädigt oder gequetscht werden. Das Steckernetzteil/den
Netzstecker nur an einer vorschriftsmäßig installierten Netzsteckdose anschließen!
Vermeiden Sie die Verwendung von Mehrfachsteckdosen! Das Steckernetzteil/der
Netzstecker des Gerätes darf erst angeschlossen werden, nachdem die Installation
vorschriftsmäßig beendet ist. Wenn das Steckernetzteil/der Netzstecker des Gerä-
tes defekt ist bzw. wenn das Gerät sonstige Schäden aufweist, darf es nicht in Betrieb
genommen werden. Ziehen Sie unbedingt sofort das Steckernetzteil/den Netz-
stecker aus der Steckdose, falls unbeabsichtigt Flüssigkeiten oder Fremdkörper
ins Gerät gelangt sind. Vor Wiederverwendung das Gerät von einem Fachmann
überprüfen lassen.
Öffnen Sie das Steckernetzteil oder das Gerät auf keinen Fall – dies darf nur der
Fachmann. Kinder nicht unbeaufsichtigt am Gerät hantieren lassen. Fremdkörper,
z.B. Nadeln, Münzen, etc., dürfen nicht in das Innere des Gerätes fallen. Die
Anschlusskontakte auf der Geräterückseite nicht mit metallischen Gegenständen
oder den Fingern berühren. Die Folge können Kurzschlüsse sein.
Vor dem Reinigen muss das Gerät von der Stromversorgung getrennt werden
(Netzstecker ziehen). Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen ein trockenes weiches Tuch.
Sprühen Sie niemals Reiniger direkt auf das Gerät. Verwenden Sie keine Reini-
gungslösungen, die die Oberfläche des Gerätes angreifen.Steckernetzteil nicht mit
nassen Händen anfassen, Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages! Bei Störungen oder
Rauch- und Geruchsbildung aus dem Gehäuse sofort Steckernetzteil / Netzstecker

gelangt sein oder wurde das Steckernetzteil oder das Gerät beschädigt, darf das

Batterien dürfen nicht geladen, erhitzt oder ins offene Feuer geworfen werden
(Explosionsgefahr!). Werfen Sie bitte die verbrauchten Batterien nicht in den
Hausmüll. Batterien sind Sondermüll und müssen entsprechend entsorgt werden.
CE- Kennzeichnung
Das Gerät ist mit dem CE- Zeichen gekennzeichnet und entspricht damit den we-
sentlichen Anforderungen der Europäischen Richtlinien 2004/108 EC für EMV und
2006/95 EC für LVD.
Entsorgungshinweis für Verpackungen
Verpackungen und Packhilfsmittel sind recyclingfähig und sollen grundsätzlich der
Wiederverwertung zugeführt werden. Verpackungsmaterialien wie z. B. Folien-
beutel gehören nicht in Kinderhände.

Die Garantiezeit beginnt mit dem Kauf des Gerätes. Diesen Zeitpunkt weisen Sie

wahren Sie diese Unterlagen bitte sorgfältig auf. Unsere Garantieleistung richtet
sich nach unseren, zum Zeitpunkt des Kaufes gültigen, Garantiebedingungen.
Bringen Sie im Reparaturfall bitte das Gerät zu Ihrem Fachhändler oder senden
Sie es dorthin ein.
Safety and installation information
All of our products at the time of purchase conform to the currently applicable
safety regulations and are, when used as intended, completely safe! Please heed
the following information to avoid any potential dangers, damage or faults:
Set-up information
The heat generated when the unit is in operation must be dissipated by adequate
air circulation, so the unit must not be covered up or situated in a closed cup-
board. To avoid both the equipment damage and possible subsequent damage,
only designated equipments should be installed on a flat surface for wall moun-
ting.
Make sure that the ventilation slots and the cooling unit on the device are not
covered, e.g with newspapers, table cloths or curtains. This could possibly lead
the device to fire.
As the unit generates heat, this can lead to discolouration on the surface of furni-
ture. If necessary, place the unit on a suitable base.
Make sure there is at least 10 cm of clearance around the unit. Radiators or other
heat sources in the vicinity of the unit can lead to malfunctions or damage the
unit. You must not place any open fire sources, such as burning candles, on top
of the unit.
The unit must not be located in rooms with a high level of humidity e.g. kitchens,
bathrooms etc, as condensation or splashing water may damage the unit. The
unit is designed for use in dry, temperate environments. If the unit is moved from
a cold to a warm place, condensation may form inside the unit. Do not expose
the unit to direct sunlight. Therefore leave the unit switched off for a few hours.
Do not place any containers holding liquids, e.g. vases of flowers on top of the
unit. These might fall over and the liquid may cause serious damage or lead to a
risk of electric shock.
The unit must not be set up in the vicinity of appliances that generate strong ma-
gnetic fields (e.g. motors, loudspeakers, transformers).
Information on the mains connection
For units that are supplied with a mains adaptor, only use the original mains adap-
tor supplied with the unit! The mains adaptor/mains plug must only be connected
to a 230 V~/50 Hz mains supply The mains adaptor/mains plug must be easily
accessible at all times so that the unit can be unplugged from the mains outlet.
Supplied cable must not be damaged or bruised by any objects Only connect
the mains adaptor/mains plug to a correctly installed power outlet! Avoid using
multiple sockets!
The mains adaptor/mains plug must only be plugged in once installation has been
completed according to the instructions. The unit must not be used if the mains
adaptor/mains plug is faulty or the unit is damaged in any other way.
Should any liquids or foreign matter accidentally get into the unit, unplug the
mains adaptor/mains plug from the power outlet immediately. Have the unit in-
spected by a qualified engineer before using it again.
Under no circumstances should you open the unit or the mains adaptor – this
must only by carried out by a qualified engineer.
Do not let unsupervised children tamper with the unit. Do not let foreign objects,
e.g. needles, coins etc fall into the interior of the unit.
Do not touch the contacts on the back of the unit with your fingers or metal ob-
jects. This could cause a short circuit.
Before cleaning the unit, it must be unplugged from the mains outlet. To clean the
unit, use a soft dry cloth. Never spray cleaning agents directly onto the unit. Do
not use any cleaning solutions that might damage the surface of the unit.
Do not handle the mains adaptor when your hands are wet – risk of elec-
tric shock! In the case of any faults or smoke and odours coming from
the unit, unplug the mains adaptor/mains plug from the power outlet
immediately!
If water or foreign objects get into the inside of the unit or if the unit or mains ad-
aptor have been damaged, you must not use the unit or you must unplug it from
the mains outlet immediately . The unit must first be inspected or repaired by a
qualified engineer (technical customer service) before being used again.
The system must be installed in accordance with current national safety regula-
tions for electrical installations, or installed by a qualified engineer. To avoid dan-
gerous over voltages (e.g. fire danger and danger to life), the connected devices
on the earthing must be respected.
If the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time, e.g. before a long
holiday, unplug the mains adaptor from the power outlet.
Information on handling batteries
Also remove the batteries (if present) from the unit or remote control, as they
could leak and damage the unit. Normal batteries must not be charged, heated or
thrown into an open fire (risk of explosion!).
Do not throw used batteries in the household refuse. Batteries are hazardous
waste and must be disposed of accordingly.
CE-mark
The unit carries the CE mark and thus conforms to the fundamental requirements
of the European directives 2004/108 EC for EMC and 2006/95 EC for LVD.
Disposal information for packaging
Packaging materials can be recycled and should always be submitted for recycling.
Packaging materials such as plastic bags do not belong in the hands of children.
Guarantee information
The guarantee period begins with the purchase of the product. Please confirm
this with your proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, delivery receipt etc.). Please
keep these documents in a safe place. Our guarantee is based on our guarantee
conditions in force at the time of purchase. In the case of a necessary repair, take
or send in the unit to your specialist dealer.
