Q. Why can't the device start?
A. Check whether the device power indicator (located on the right side of the chassis)
and OLED screen are on, and restart again with the official power adapter;
Do not turn off the upgrade page and power during device upgrade!!
Q. Why not log in to the Web UI?
A. Check whether the IP address of the device and the IP address of the computer are in
the same network segment, and whether the IP address of the device conflicts with the
IP address of other devices in the network segment; Check whether the network
environment is good; Attempt to power down and restart the device.
Q. Why does the device IP address display 192.168.8.8?
A. This is because the device is in the automatic IP acquisition mode in the network
settings of the webui, but there is no router in the LAN connected to the device to assign
an IP address to the device. At this time, change the computer IP to 192.168.8. * *, then
log in to the Web UI, change the device to manually obtain the IP, fill in the address,
subnet mask and gateway, and click [apply].
Q. Why is the image output from the device to the display device abnormal in color,
sound or picture?
A. Try to restart the device in the Web UI system, or manually power off and restart.
Q. Why is the device output to the white screen of the display device in decoding mode?
A. This is because the decoding device does not select which NDI source to solve. Try to
log in to the Web UI, check whether the correct coding source is selected under the
decoding column, click refresh list and select again.
Q. NDI decoding is stuck and not smooth
If the NDI decoding picture is not smooth and jammed, please turn multicast on or off
to test the fluency of NDI under the condition of ensuring a good network environment.

Encoding
Select any format required by the site. No matter what format the video source input is,
it can be easily converted, whether it is NDI stream or SDI / HDMI output, and converted
at the same time.
Therefore, it can be said that format conversion and NDI coding can be carried out at the
same time. At this moment, you have a box integrating NDI encoder and UpDown
converter.
When there is a SDI input, SDI loop out and HDMI output format are all changed.
such as current SDI input is 720p50, you select 2160p60 output, then SDI/HDMI output will
be 2160p60 and NDI output also 2160p60.
The optical transceiver switch is used to convert the original signal of SDI / HDMI into
optical signal. When device in the NDI encoder status it is the transmitting end and when
the decoder, it is the optical receiving end.
You can define and change the NDI stream name of this codec on the network without
restarting the device to distinguish different NDI codec.
You can define and change the NDI stream aspect ration that supports five settings:
source aspect ratio, 4:3, 16:9, 16:10, square.
NDI stream output volume adjustment. 0dB is the initial volume.
You can select any background picture as the NDI source as you like or needs.
When the bandwidth of the network is not ideal, the bit rate bandwidth of NDI can be
adjusted to a minimum of 20M.
Support 4 kinds of frame rate settings: source frame rate, 1/2 frame rate, 1/3 frame rate,
1/4 frame rate.
In NDI encoding mode, users can flexibly set a variety of NDI parameters, such as NDI
stream name, picture frame, frame rate, encoding volume, input source priority, Tally
display switch, Intercom switch, optical tranceiver turn or off etc.
In addition, one of the most important auxiliary functions is that you can convert,
transform and output any format you want without affecting NDI coding. The converted
format will be output simultaneously through NDI and SDI / HDMI interface.
Primary input confirmation of HDMI and SDI input sources.
The priority can be switched freely during NDI encoding (when both SDI and HDMI are
connected to the video source).
Switch of the Intercom function, It needs to be used together with NDI management and
Intercom software Laudo from SCIENCE IMAGE.
The tally function is turned on by default. You can turn off the tally light when you don't
need it
"Decoder Volume" adjusts the volume of NDI decoding output to display device, such as
output to TV, etc.
If this device is used as a decoder(OLED will display Decoder), you need to select an NDI
source to decoding, and the NDI source name and format being decoded will be displayed
on the OLED screen.
Click the number of the NDI source you want to decod ( such as is the NDI source
currently being decoded), at this time, the output of SDI and HDMI is the decoded signal
of the NDI source being selected.
Select "Encoder" or "Decoder" and click the [switch NDI mode] button to immediately
switch to the corresponding mode, default is Encoder mode.
And the OLED will display the working mode, such as "NDI Encoder" or "NDI Decoder"
when you swithing NDI mode.
Restoring factory settings can restore the device to its initial state, but the firmware
version will not be restored (the factory default IP address of the device is DHCP manual
mode. If there is no router that automatically assigns IP addresses in the LAN, the device
IP will change to 192.168.8.8).
PTZ usage and control methods please see the Manual, please download it on the official
website of SCIENCE IMAGE. www.science-image.com
Click this button will restart device under control on web UI.
External Audio Embeded (LINE IN) will play the mixing effect of external audio and NDI audio.
There are two adjustment buttons.
The main volume pusher is used to adjust the volume from NDI internal audio.
The LINE IN audio pusher is used to adjust the volume when external audio is embedded,
and the encoder Headset interface will output mixed sound of NDI sound and LINE IN, and the
same as the decoder’s headset interface.
Hardware restore factory settings︕︕
Press and hold the reset key (in the pinhole of the front panel) and power on the device
at the same time. At this time, you can see that the OLED displays "system recover".
Release the reset key to start the process of restoring the factory setting. When Tally is
green, the factory setting is restored. It takes 20 minutes, please wait patiently.
