Determining which ports are open / closed

Scenario 1 - NO POWER
When the unit has no power Port 1 & Port 2 are open.
Scenario 2 - UNIT ENERGISED
Once the unit receives 12V (or 24V for SFV24VSVO) Port 3 & Port 2 are open.
Wiring the Valve
1) Undo the screw on top of the terminal cover. See Figure 2
2) Remove the cover and the terminals from inside so you can access them. See Figure 3.
3) Earth terminal 2, this will earth the body of the valve. Important when using with fuels! See Figure 4.
4) To activate the solenoid and thus change the ports, voltage must be applied to Terminals 1 & 3. It does not
matter which is +ve or -ve. See Figure 4.
5) Use the screw connectors to attach you wires.
6) Use a suitable size cable gland to prevent water/liquid entering the terminal cap.
6) Assembly is the opposite of disassembly.
