MAINTENANCE
Make sure the unit is cool to the touch and all internal parts have cooled off before storing the product.
The remote can be stored in the carrying handle locate at the top of unit on the back side
(See Diagram 2 on page 11).
Try to protect the unit from being tipped or dropped as it can damage the internal parts. If the unit has
been tipped or dropped take caution when using. Do a visual inspection, looking inside the unit for
any broken or loose parts. Gently tip the unit and listen for any loose parts. If all looks good take
caution while plugging the unit into the wall and when starting the unit to look, listen and smell for
anything out of the ordinary. If it sounds strange or smells of burning, immediately power off the unit
and unplug it from the outlet, then contact our customer service.
Make sure the unit is turned OFF, unplugged and the heating elements of heater are cool whenever
you are cleaning the heater.
Make sure the unit is level and secure when using, periodically check the underside of the base to
make sure is clean and level.
When the heater is not in use, the heater should be stored in a dry location, away from possible
damage. The power cord should be stored properly to avoid contact with hot or sharp objects.
Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
STORAGE
Installing or replacing remote control battery
When the remote control (D) stops operating or its range seems
reduced, it is time to replace the battery. Note: The batteries
should be removed if the product is to be left unused for a long time.

Disposal of Used Battery
A battery may contain hazardous substances that could be endangering to environment and
human health.

collection point for recycling.

Clean the pre-filter using a vacuum cleaner with a hose attachment. With the unit off and cool to the
touch hold the vacuum hose against the back panel. The vacuum should remove dust and debris from
the mesh screen. For a more robust cleaning you can remove the pre-filter. Press down on the tab at
the top of the filter while tipping the top of filter away from the body (see Diagram 1 on page 11). Then
tip it out and away from the body. Use the vacuum with the hose attachment to clean both sides of the
pre-filter before re-installing it. (see Diagram 1 on page 11).
Note: Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbonzinc), or rechargeable (nicad, nimh, etc) batteries.
Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from
the product.
