1. SAFETY
1.1. GENERAL
9It is important to ensure that the lamp is fully charged before initial use.
8WARNING! DO NOT turn the lamp on when it is being charged.
8DO NOT shine directly into your, another person’s or an animal’s eyes.
8DO NOT allow children to use the lamp.
8DO NOT leave battery in a discharged state. Recharge battery immediately.
9Recharge the battery at least once every six months of non-use.
1.2. ELECTRICAL SAFETY FOR USE OF CHARGER.
9Use only the supplied charger for connecting the lamp to the power supply. DO NOT turn lamp on while connected to a power supply.
WARNING! It is the user’s responsibility to read, understand and comply with the following instructions:
IMPORTANT: You must ensure the risk of electric shock is minimised by the installation of appropriate safety devices e.g. RCD.
NOTE: If the lamp is used in the course of business duties, it must be maintained in a safe condition and routinely PAT (Portable
Appliance Test) tested.
9Ensure that you inspect the charger plug, cable and connections for wear and damage to ensure items are safe before connecting
them to the mains power supply. If worn or damaged DO NOT use.
WARNING! DO NOT use any other type of charger with this product, other than the supplied mains or USB cable. Failure to observe
thiswarningcouldresultininjuryandorre.The use of any other type of charger will invalidate the warranty.
IMPORTANT: There are no user serviceable components. DO NOT dismantle.
IMPORTANT: For indoor use only. DO NOT allow the charger to become wet. DO NOT use in wet or damp conditions.

2. INTRODUCTION
RechargeableprofessionaloodlightwithsuperbrightCOBLED
which gives an even and constant spread of light. Five colour
temperature options, 2700K, 3500K, 4500K, 5500K and 6500K.
Produces a light with a CRI (Colour Rendering Index) of 96,
which gives a daylight effect.
Ideal for detecting swirls and differences in paint colour when
touching up areas of bodywork. Three settings allow for 25/50 or
100% brightness to suit task. Features a 180° adjustable stand.

4. CHARGING
4.1. The battery fitted to this lamp is considered to be a consumable item and its ability to accept charge will reduce over time. We will
warranty it against mechanical and electrical defect for a period of one year, this does not cover fair wear and tear. If the battery is not
properly charged before first use, or regularly conditioned, its capacity will diminish. Under these circumstances we will not replace the
battery even if it is less than one year old.
4.2. Connect the charger into the charge socket on the lamp and connect to a power supply, the green charge LEDs on the lamp will
light as the battery becomes charged. When fully charged all five lights will be lit.
4.3. When the battery has fully charged (approx 3.5hrs) Disconnect from mains supply before use.
4.4. During usage, when the battery is low the green lights will go out one at a time. When this happens switch off the lamp and re-charge.
NOTE: The Lithium battery does not suffer from memory effect and once fully charged may be stored for up to six months without
another charge.
5. OPERATION
5.1. Position the floodlight in the area that requires illumination.
5.2. This LED floodlight develops minimal heat and is not subject to the same restrictions that apply to halogen lamps that become too
hot to touch. We do however recommend that the floodlight should not be placed in cramped or restrictive situations and recommend
the following minimum distances between the light and any surface/object.
 ●500mmminimumbetweenthetopofthelightandanyoverheadsurface,orobjects.
 ●200mmbetweensidesoflightandendorsidewalls,surfacesorobjects.
 ●1metreminimumbetweenthefrontofthelightandanyobjecttobeilluminated.
5.3. Press the power switch on the back of the light to turn on, the battery charge level will be indicated by green lights in increments of 20%.
Press the colour mode switch to choose one of the five settings ranging from 2700 - 6500K. The brightness button will scroll through the
settings when pressed ranging from 500 - 2000LM.
WARNING! Ensure the light is disconnected from the mains power supply when in use and also when fully charged. Ensure that the unit
is cool and dry and is stored in a cool, dry, childproof area.
6. MAINTENANCE
6.1. Clean the casing externally (not the glass) with a moist cloth.
8DO NOT use solvents or abrasives.
6.2. If necessary clean the glass with alcohol and a soft cloth.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
WEEE REGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
BATTERY REMOVAL
Under the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009, Jack Sealey Ltd are required to inform potential purchasers of products
containing batteries (as defined within these regulations), that they are registered with Valpak’s registered compliance scheme. Jack
Sealey Ltd’s Batteries Producer Registration Number (BPRN) is BPRN00705.
