1. SAFETY
WARNING! Only use Benchclaw for its intended purpose.
WARNING! Two people may be required to fit heavier tools to the workbench. Check working capacity of workbench plus tool and
workpiece.
WARNING! Ensure the power supply is switched off when fitting Benchclaw to a tool.
9Always use all 4 bolts and washers supplied when attaching Benchclaw to your specified tool.
9Ensure the power supply is switched off when the tool is not in use.
8DO NOT leave workbench unattended, unless in a secure, locked location.
2. INTRODUCTION
Patented design enables power tools tted with Benchclaw to be quickly and easily mounted to conventional workbenches with a maximum
surface thickness of 20mm. Suitable for a variety of tools including mitre saws and bench grinders with mounting hole centres between 100mm
to 375mm. Foldaway claws auto-retract enabling use on ground or at work surfaces without needing to disconnect Benchclaw from your chosen
tool.

4. ATTACHMENT TO POWER TOOLS
4.1. To avoid any misalignment between both Benchclaw brackets on installation, attach the Benchclaw to your power tools in the
following way:
4.1.1. Position both Benchclaw brackets on the opened workbench.
4.1.2. Close the workbench vice onto the Benchclaw hooks, without fully tightening.
4.1.3. Slide the securing nuts to each end of the Benchclaw bracket.
4.1.4. Lower the power tool onto the Benchclaw brackets and check correct alignment.
4.1.5. Fully tighten the workbench vice.
4.1.6. Attach Benchclaw to power tools using the 4 bolts, washers and split washers supplied.
5. OPERATION
5.1. Open jaws on workbench wide enough to allow the power tool with Benchclaw attached, to rest on workbench, see g.1.
5.2. Close the Workbench vice onto the Benchclaw hooks, until tight, g.2.
5.3. Place the power tool in a central, well balanced position for maximum stability, g.3.
5.4. Remove from workbench and fold ‘claws’ away to use Benchclaw on a at surface, see g.4,
NOTE: Carry out a Risk Assessment for the operation of each power tool attached to a Benchclaw, before use.
