9Ensure safety eye protection and protective clothing are worn when using this product.
9Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure there is adequate lighting.

9Dispose of waste liquids in accordance with local authority regulations.

and store in a safe dry location.

2. INTRODUCTION
6.5ltrCapacitydeviceconstructedfromcompositematerialsandsuitablefortheextractionofalltypesofengine,transmissionandlubricatingoils
fromcars,motorcycles,marineengines,stationaryenginesandindustrialmachinery.Alsosuitableforlowviscosityfluidssuchaswater.Supplied
withØ4,Ø6andØ8mmsuctionprobesandØ10mmx1mtrextensiontube.Toremoveoilfromacarengine,simplypushtheprobedownthe
dipstickholeandpumpthehandleonthetopoftheunit.Probescanbestoredintheholderwhennotinuse.Canalsobeusedfordrainingfish
tanks,basinsandsinks.

4. OPERATION
4.1 OIL EXTRACTION (fig.1)
4.1.1. Ensurethevehicleisonlevelgroundandruntheengineforapproximately5minutestowarmtheoilandallowanycontaminants
within the oil to thoroughly mix and turn the engine off.
4.1.2. Removethevehicle’soildipstick.
4.1.3. Selectandinserttheappropriatediameterprobeintothedipstickholeuntilitreachesthebottomofthesump.
4.1.4. Connecttheextensiontubetoboththepumpinletandprobe.
4.1.5. Raisethehandletoitshighestlimitandpumpitfullyseveraltimestocreateavacuumwhichwillautomaticallybegintoextractthe
oil/fluid.Observetheoil/fluidasitrisesupthechamberandstoppumpingwhenthefluidis6”(150mm)fromthetop.Theunitwill
continue to fill and will automatically shut off when the internal float valve operates. DO NOT continue to pump after the unit has shut
offasthismayresultinliquidenteringtheinnerpumpchamber.Ifthisshouldoccurrefertosection4.1.8onhowtoexpelfluidfrom
the pump.
4.1.6. Oncecompleted,removethemainsuctiontubefromthepump,pourtheoil/fluidintoasuitablecontainer(theunitcanbetipped,
butnofurtherthan90°,tofacilitateemptying)anddisposeofitinaccordancewithlocalauthorityregulations.
4.1.7. Beforeusingthepumpagainpressthevacuumreleasevalvefor5secondstoreleasethevacuumwithinthepump.Thisvalveis
situated on the top of the unit underneath the handle.
4.1.8. Intheeventoffluidenteringtheinnerpumpchamberitcanbeexpelledfromtheunitasfollows.Firstlypressthevacuumrelease
valvefor5secondstoreleasethevacuumwithinthepump.Sealoffthefluidentry/pouringholebyplacingyourhandoverit,then
pumpthehandleupanddownseveraltimes.Anyfluidthathasenteredthepumpwillbeexpelledfromtheairvalveontheunderside
of the unit.
