instructions, and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.

1. SAFETY
WARNING! Ensure health & safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are strictly adhered to when using this
equipment.
9Familiarise yourself with the extractors application and limitations, as well as the specic potential hazards peculiar to this product.
9Maintain the extractor in good condition.
9Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Non authorised parts will invalidate the warranty.
9 Use only to extract engine/transmission oils, fuels or similar NON-Corrosive uids. Unit may also be used for the transfer of water.
9Ensure safety eye protection and protective clothing are worn when using this product.
9Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure there is adequate lighting.
9 Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the oor is not slippery and wear non slip shoes.
9Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
9Dispose of waste liquids in accordance with local authority regulations.
8DO NOT store uids in the container. Once used to extract uid, it must be emptied into an approved receptacle as soon as possible.
8DO NOT dismantle, tamper or adapt the extractor for any purpose other than for which it is designed.
8DO NOT use the unit if it has been dropped or mishandled, check the unit to ensure there is no damage.
8DO NOT use to store any uids, ensure unit is cleaned after every use, especially when fuel has passed through the pump. Wash
through with a mild detergent and water by drawing the detergent through the pump to remove all pumped liquid.
Keep the extractor clean and store in a safe dry location. DO NOT store in areas of high temperature, direct sunlight, rain or snow.
2. INTRODUCTION
8Ltr Capacity device constructed from composite materials. Suitable for the extraction of all types of engine, transmission and lubricating oils
from vehicles and machinery. Also suitable for the extraction of petrol/diesel and low viscosity uids such as water. Supplied with 1.5mtr. main
hose with interchangeable Ø6.7mm dipstick oil probe and Ø7mm universal uid probe. Supplied with fuel system adaptor (FSA) for use in
conjunction with fuel kit Model No’s VS552, VS553, VS554 and VS555. Can also be used for draining sh tanks, basins and sinks.

4. OPERATION
4.1. OIL EXTRACTION
4.1.1. Ensure the vehicle is on level ground and run the engine for approximately 5 minutes to warm the oil and allow any contaminants
within the oil to thoroughly mix and turn the engine off.
4.1.2. Remove the vehicle’s oil dipstick.
4.1.3. Insert the probe into the dipstick hole until it reaches the bottom of the sump. fig.2.
4.1.4. Connect the extension tube to both the pump inlet and probe.
4.1.5. Raise the handle to its highest limit and pump it fully several times to create a vacuum which will automatically begin to extract the
oil/fluid. Observe the oil/fluid as it rises up the chamber and stop pumping when the fluid is 6”(150mmm) from the top.
4.1.6. Remove the main suction tube from the pump, pour the oil/fluid into a suitable container and dispose of it in accordance with local
authority regulations.
4.1.7. The air vent tube should be vented to air.
4.2. FUEL EXTRACTION
4.2.1. Can be used to suck fuel out of fuel tank or low pressure fuel circuit in conjunction with fuel priming kits Model no’s VS552, VS553,
VS554 and VS555. fig.3. The air vent tube should be vented to the fuel tank or to outside.
4.3. OTHER FLUIDS
4.3.1. Select and insert the appropriate diameter probe into the fluid to be drained.
4.3.2. Connect the extension tube to both the pump inlet and the probe.
4.3.3. Use as above
5. MAINTENANCE
5.1. Ensure unit is empty and cleaned by passing a mild detergent and water through it after every use and allowing to dry before
storage. Dispose of detergent in accordance with local authority regulations.

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain off any fluids (if applicable)
into approved containers and dispose of the product and the fluids according to local regulations.
