The Hybrid Silent Fan Control provides three operational stages: Fanless, Silent, and Cooling Mode. In addition, there is a switch provided to

allow for manual selection between the Seasonic S FC (fan control without Fanless Mode) and the S FC (fan control including Fanless Mode).
New feature (For X-1050 / 1250W): Hysteresis is achieved by a fan control IC, which optimizes how frequently the fan switches on and off.
At 25 °C ambient temperature the fan turns on when the load rises above 30 % (± 5 %) and it turns off when the load drops below 20 % (± 5 %).
Due to this lag in response the fan switches on and off less frequently, which reduces power loss in Fanless and Silent Mode.

The spoon shaped high-density plastic fan blades with smoothed leading edges, the strict tolerance ball bearings and the precision copper axel

WARNING! IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
•NEVER, under any circumstances, open the power supply unit. High voltage inside. WARRANTY IS VOID once the cover is removed.
•DO NOT insert any object into the fan grill or the ventilation area of the power supply unit.
•DO NOT place any object in front of the fan or the ventilation area of the power supply unit that may obstruct or restrict airflow.
•USE ONLY the Seasonic modular cables provided with the power supply unit.
•Keep the power supply unit in a dry environment, away from humidity.
•The power supply unit is for integration into a computer system and not intended for external or outdoor usage.
Power Supply Removal
1. Please first read “Warnings! Important Safety Information” above.
2. Disconnect your PC power cord from all AC sources. Make certain that the system is turned OFF. If applicable, set the power supply unit’s
AC power switch to “O” (OFF) position.
3. Open the PC case and, if applicable, refer to your PC manufacturer’s User Manual.
4. Carefully disconnect all the power supply unit’s DC wire harness connectors from the mainboard and all peripheral connectors.
5. Unscrew the mounting screws securing the power supply unit to the back panel of the PC case.
6. Carefully remove the power supply unit from the PC system.
Power Supply Installation
1. Place the Seasonic power supply unit into the space provided in the case and secure the power supply unit to the back panel of the case with the
four mounting screws provided in the accessory bag. Do not over tighten the screws.
2. Depending on the type of computer case, correct mounting of the power supply will result with the fan side top cover facing the mainboard.
This does not apply to all types of cases.
3. Mainboard connection:
a. DO NOT force the connector into place; the connectors are “keyed” so they can only fit one way. Make sure the connector lock is secure.
b. Connect the power supply end of the 20/24 Pin convertible connector to the appropriate receptor on the power supply unit.

Troubleshooting
If the power supply unit fails to function properly, please go through the below checklist.
1. Check to make sure the AC cord is properly connected to the AC source and the power supply unit.
2. Check to make sure the AC source is On.
3. Check to make sure the AC On/Off switch on the back panel of the power supply unit in the “I” (On) position.
4. Check and secure all mainboard and peripheral connectors.
5. The AC on/off switch on the back of the power supply unit can be toggled between “I” and “O” a few times with a 0.5 seconds delay in between to
make sure the power supply unit is reset.

c. Connect the mainboard end of the 20/24 Pin convertible connector to the mainboard. Depending on the mainboard, you may need to either
attach or detach the 4 Pin module of the 20/24 Pin connector.
d. Connect the + 12 V P4 connector and the EPS + 12 V connector, if applicable.
e. If your system requires dual EPS + 12 V connectors, please connect the 12 Pin end of the second CPU 8 Pin connector into the appropriate 12
Pin receptor on the power supply unit. Then connect the mainboard end of this 8 Pin connector to the mainboard.

4. The hybrid fan control selector switch, located on the modular cable panel side of the power supply unit can be set to either “I” -- S FC (Normal

Fan Control without Fanless Mode) or “O” -- S FC (Hybrid Silent Fan Control with Fanless Mode).
a. The Normal Fan Control setting (“I”) enables the fan to rotate continuously in Silent and Cooling Modes, depending on the system load.
b. The Hybrid Silent Fan Control setting (“O”) enables the power supply to run in Fanless Mode up to 30 % (± 5 %) of the maximum rated load.

When the load further increases, the S FC fan control will keep regulating perfect cooling through the Silent or Cooling Modes.
5. Peripheral components connection:
a. DO NOT force the connector into place, the connectors are “keyed” so can only fit one way. Make sure the connector lock, if applicable, is
secure.
b. Connect the power supply end of the peripheral connector cables to the appropriate receptor on the power supply unit.
c. Connect the Easy Swap Connectors to the power receptor of the peripheral.
6. Close the computer case securely.
7. Plug in the AC power cord provided in the box and switch the AC On/Off switch on the back panel of the power supply unit to the “I” (On) position.
8. You are now ready to start your computer. Powered by Seasonic!!

Notes
The power supply is a “pull” technology, which only provides the power as demanded by the mainboard and components.
•If there is a mainboard malfunction, the power supply will not turn on.
•If there is a peripheral component malfunction, the power supply will not provide power to that particular component.

During the guarantee period, Sea Sonic maintains the discretion to either repair or replace with parts of similar or equal performance, provided that:

WARNUNG! WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

Ausbau des Netzteils
1. Bitte lesen Sie zuerst den Abschnitt Warnung! Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise weiter oben.
2. Trennen Sie Ihren PC von sämtlichen AC-Netzquellen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das System ausgeschaltet ist. Schalten Sie den AC-Ein-/
Ausschalter des Netzteils gegebenenfalls auf die „O“-Position (aus).
3. Öffnen Sie das PC-Gehäuse und halten Sie sich gegebenenfalls an die Bedienungsanleitung Ihres PC-Herstellers.
4. Trennen Sie vorsichtig alle DC-Kabelanschlüsse des Netzteils vom Mainboard und ziehen Sie sämtliche Peripherieanschlüsse.
5. Lösen Sie die Befestigungsschrauben, die das Netzteil von hinten an der Rückseite des PC-Gehäuses halten.
6. Entfernen Sie das Netzteil vorsichtig aus dem PC-System.
Installation des Netzteils
1. Platzieren Sie das Seasonic-Netzteil an dem dafür vorgesehenen Platz des Gehäuses; befestigen Sie das Netzteil mit vier im Zubehörbeutel
enthaltenen Schrauben an der Rückseite des Gehäuses. Drehen Sie die Schrauben nicht zu fest.
2. Je nach Computergehäuse kann die korrekte Montage des Netzteils dazu führen, dass die obere Abdeckung (Lüfter) in Richtung des Mainboards
zeigt. Dies gilt nicht bei allen Gehäusearten.

Falls das Netzteil nicht richtig funktioniert, prüfen Sie bitte die nachstehende Checkliste.
1. Prüfen Sie, ob das AC-Netzkabel korrekt an einer AC-Steckdose und dem Netzteil angeschlossen ist.
Problemlösung
3. Mainboard-Anschluss:
a. Schließen Sie den Anschluss NICHT mit Gewalt an; die Anschlüsse sind kodiert, können also nur in einer Richtung eingesteckt werden. Stellen
Sie sicher, dass der Stecker fest sitzt.
b. Verbinden Sie das Netzteilende des 20-/24-poligen austauschbaren Steckers mit dem entsprechenden Anschluss am Netzteil.
c. Verbinden Sie das Mainboard-Ende des 20-/24-poligen austauschbaren Steckers mit dem Mainboard. Je nach Mainboard müssen Sie das
4-polige Modul des 20-/24-poligen Steckers entweder anbringen oder entfernen.
d. Schließen Sie gegebenenfalls den 4-poligen + 12 V-Stecker und den + 12 V-EPS-Stecker an.
e. Falls Ihr System Dual-EPS-Anschlüsse (+ 12 V) erfordert, verbinden Sie bitte das 12-polige Ende des zweiten 8-poligen CPU-Anschlusses mit
dem entsprechenden 12-poligen Anschluss des Netzteils an. Verbinden Sie dann das Mainboard-Ende des 8-poligen Anschlusses mit dem
Mainboard.
4. Der Auswahlschalter der Hybrid-Lüftersteuerung an der Seite des modularen Kabelpanels des Netzteils kann entweder auf „I“ – normale

Lüftersteuerung, S FC (ohne lüfterlosen Modus) – oder auf „O“ – S FC, lautlose Hybrid-Lüftersteuerung (mit lüfterlosem Modus) – eingestellt
werden.
a. Die Standardeinstellung der Lüftersteuerung ist „I“ – dadurch dreht sich der Lüfter in den geräuscharmen und kühlenden Modi kontinuierlich
(je nach Systemlast).

b. Die Einstellung „O“ der lautlosen Hybrid-Lüftersteuerung ermöglicht S FC den Betrieb im „lüfterlosen“ Modus bei bis zu 30 % (± 5 %) der

maximal angegebenen Last. Bei weiterem Anstieg der Last wird die S FC-Lüftersteuerung in die geräuscharmen und Kühlmodi versetzt.
5. Anschluss von Peripheriekomponenten:
a. Schließen Sie den Anschluss NICHT mit Gewalt an; die Anschlüsse sind kodiert, können also nur in einer Richtung eingesteckt werden. Stellen
Sie gegebenenfalls sicher, dass die Steckerverriegelung fest sitzt.
b. Verbinden Sie das Netzteilende des Peripherieanschlusskabels mit der entsprechenden Buchse des Netzteils.
c. Verbinden Sie die EasySwap-Anschlüsse mit den Netzanschlüssen der Peripheriegeräte.
6. Verschliessen Sie das Computergehäuse wieder vollständig.
7. Schließen Sie das im Karton mitgelieferte AC-Netzkabel an; schalten Sie den AC-Ein-/Ausschalter an der Rückseite des Netzteils auf die „
I“-Position (ein).
8. Nun können Sie Ihren Computer starten. POWERED BY SEASONIC !!

Hinweise
Das Netzteil basiert auf einer „Pull“-Technologie, bei der nur der Strom geliefert wird, der durch das Mainboard und die Komponenten bezogen wird.
•Bei einer Fehlfunktion des Mainboards schaltet sich das Netzteil nicht ein.
•Bei einer Fehlfunktion der Peripheriekomponenten liefert das Netzteil der betreffenden Komponenten keinen Strom.

2. Prüfen Sie, ob die AC-Steckdose eingeschaltet ist bzw. Strom liefert.
3. Prüfen Sie, ob der AC-Ein-/Ausschalter auf der Rückseite des Netzteils in der "I"-Position (ein) ist.
4. Prüfen und sichern Sie sämtliche Mainboard- und Peripheriegeräteanschlüsse.
5. Der AC-Ein-/Ausschalter an der Rückseite des Netzteils kann mehrmals mit einer Pause von jeweils 0.5 Sekunden zwischen "I" und "O"
umgeschaltet werden; dadurch stellen Sie sicher, dass das Netzteil neu gestartet wird.

hybride et silencieux du ventilateur offre 3 étapes opérationnelles : Les modes Fanless (Sans ventilateur), Silencieux, et Refroidissement. Un

commutateur est fourni pour vous permettre de choisir entre le contrôle du ventilateur Seasonic S FC (sans le mode Fanless) et le contrôle du

Nouvelle fonctionnalité(pour les modèle X-1050 / 1250W): L’hystérèse est obtenue par un contrôle du ventilateur de type IC qui optimise la
fréquence d’allumage et d’extinction du ventilateur. Avec une température ambiante de 25 °C, le ventilateur s’allume si la charge dépasse les
30 % (± 5 %) et s’éteint lorsque la charge retombe sous les 20 % (± 5 %). Grâce à ce décalage, le ventilateur s’allume et s’éteint moins souvent,
ce qui permet de réduire les pertes en mode Fanless et Silent.
•Sanyo Denki – Ventilateur silencieux San Ace
Les ventilateurs à roulement à billes de Sanyo Denki, dont la renommée est mondiale, sont élaborés avec des composants de la plus haute
