SAFETY
General Safety
Please read these instructions before using the
heater and keep for future reference.
This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction in
using the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance. Do not
poke anything through the ventilating slits.
Always use the heater in an upright position.
Stand it on a rm, solid, horizontal base (not on
thick pile carpets).
WARNING: In order to avoid
overheating, do not cover the
heater.
Leave nothing hanging above or in front of
the heater (e.g. clothes, curtains, bedding,
fabrics). Be sure that the back panel vent
slots on the heater are uncovered otherwise it
will overheat. Clean these openings at regular
intervals to prevent airow reduction (refer
Maintenance section).
The heater surfaces are hot when in use. To
avoid burns, keep bare skin away from the
top ventilation outlets. Leave plenty of room
around the heater.
Do not use this heater outdoors, or on
wet surfaces. Do not use the heater near
ammable areas or substances.
Electrical Safety
Connect the heater to a single 230 Vac, 10A
socket only. Do not plug into double adaptors
or multi-outlet power boards. Do not use an
extension cord to operate this heater.
Make sure that the heater never comes into
contact with water. Never position the heater
under a power outlet.
Never turn the heater on if the power supply
cord is damaged or if the heater’s casing
is obviously damaged. If the power supply
cord is damaged it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, a service agent or similarly
qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not pull the heater along by the power cord
or place the cord near the heater’s surfaces.
Always uncoil the power cord completely
before use. Use of extension cords is not
recommended.
Do not use this heater in the immediate
surroundings of a bath, a shower or a
swimming pool. If the heater is to be used in
a bathroom, ensure that switches and other
controls cannot be touched by a person in the
bath or shower.
Do not use this heater with a programmer,
timer, separate remote-control system or
any other device that switches the heater on
automatically, since a re risk exists if the
heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
Always turn the heater off and unplug from the
power socket when not in use.
Safety Device
To avoid overheating problems the inbuilt
safety device will interrupt electricity in the
event of the heater overheating.
If this should happen:
• Check that the heater is positioned
correctly, not close to any furnishings.
• See that there is no dust or other obstacles
blocking the vent slots.
• Clean the vent slots if necessary.
The heater is also equipped with a ‘tip-over’
switch, which will turn off power to the heater
elements if it should fall over.

COMPONENTS LIST
REMOTE
When the heater power is on, the remote
control can be used to operate the heater from
up to 4m away.
If there are two or more heaters within this
distance all will be operated by the same
remote control.
Replacing the battery
Release battery slide by pressing on the tab at
the bottom of the remote. Remove the battery
and replace with an equivalent CR2032 type
battery.
Note: Your remote control will be supplied with
a battery.

ASSEMBLY
Unpack the heater and check that you have all
of the components.
Turn the heater upside down and remove the
plastic Locking nut. Assemble the Base onto
the heater and x into position with the Locking
nut.
Note: Ensure the nut is tight to avoid shaking
of the heater.

1. Ensure the heater is plugged into a mains
power outlet and is switched on.
2. Turn the isolation switch on (I), at the back
of the heater, to begin use. The heater will
make a ‘beep’.
Turning on/off
1. Press the ON/OFF button, on the heater
or remote, to turn the heater on. The room
temperature will be shown on the display.
Note! The heater will start in the last operating
mode used.
2. To turn the heater off press the ON/OFF
button.
Note! The fan will continue to run for a further
ten (10) seconds, after the heater is turned off.
Swing function
The heater can be set to oscillate from side to
side to better distribute heat within the room.
1. Press the SWING button to turn swing mode
on & off. The swing indicator on the display
panel will be lit when swing mode is on.
Heat settings
1. The heat setting can be switched between
low heat (1400W) and high heat (2400W) by
pressing the HEATER button.
Temperature control
The heater has a temperature sensor.
When the room temperature reaches the set
temperature, the heater will automatically
switch to standby mode. Once the room
temperature has cooled by 2°C the heater
will automatically turn ON. The heater will not
judge the temperature within 10s of the heater
turning on.
To set a desired temperature:
1. Press the SHIFT button twice to enter into
temperature setting mode. The temperature/
timer display will begin ash.
2. Press UP and DOWN to set the desired
temperature. Pressing the UP and DOWN
buttons will increase and decrease the
temperature by 1°C increments. Temperature
set range is 15°C to 35°C.
3. Press the SHIFT button or wait 4 seconds
to conrm the set temperature. The room
temperature will again be displayed.
4. Reset the temperature by re-entering the
temperature setting mode and using the UP
and DOWN buttons to set the desired value.

Make sure that the device is switched off
before cleaning.
Wipe the surface of the heater by using a clean
damp cloth.
Do not use chemical liquids when cleaning
the heater.
Do not submerge the heater in water.
Make sure that the heater has cooled down
completely before storing. Storing in its original
packaging is highly recommended.
Cleaning the lters
WARNING! Ensure that the heater is switched
off at the supply mains before removing lter
panel.
Remove the lter and clean using a vacuum
cleaner or tap the panel lightly to remove loose
dust and dirt and then rinse under running
water (no hotter than 40°C).
Dry thoroughly before replacing.
Note! To maximize the efciency of the heater,
clean the lters regularly.
Note! Never operate the heater without the
lters and air inlet grille installed.

Waste electrical products must not be disposed of with household waste.
This product should be taken to your local recycling centre for safe treatment.
Timer
1. Press the SHIFT button once to enter into
timer setting mode. The temperature / timer
display will ash on the display panel.
2. Press the UP and DOWN buttons to set the
time before the heater automatically turns
off. Pressing UP and DOWN will increase
and decrease the time by 1 hr increments.
Timer range is 1-12hrs.
3. Press the SHIFT button or wait 4 seconds
to conrm the timer setting. The display
will now cycle between the current room
temperature and the timer countdown.
4. Reset the timer by re-entering the timer
setting mode and using UP and DOWN to
set a desired time.
5. To cancel the timer setting, set the timer to
zero (00) hours or turn the heater off.

In this warranty:
We or us means Seeley International Pty Ltd. ABN 23 054 687 035, and our contact details are set out at the end
of this warranty;
You means you, the original end-user purchaser of the Goods;
Supplier means the authorised distributor or retailer of the Goods that sold you the Goods in Australia; and
Goods means the product, unit, appliance or equipment which was accompanied by this warranty and purchased
in Australia.
Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a
replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the Goods repaired or replaced if the Goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure
does not amount to a major failure.
In addition to any rights and remedies that You may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law,
subject to the terms of this warranty, We provide the following warranty:
1. If, during the rst 24 months from the date of rst retail purchase (Warranty Period), the Goods upon
examination prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or material, We will replace the Goods or any
part thereof without charge. We may substitute with any similar Goods (including a panel heater, or a portable
heating product of a different size or shape), even if it is not on our current price/equipment list. Alternatively,
we may arrange a refund of the purchase price you paid.
2. We are under no obligation to replace the Goods under clause 1 if the Goods have not been used only for
personal, domestic or household purposes and have not been installed/mounted
(if relevant), operated, and maintained in accordance with the instructions in the Owner’s Manual. The addition
of any third party device or the removal or the alteration of any of our components will void this warranty. In
addition, the warranty granted under clause 1 does not apply to:
• Adjustments necessary due to misuse of the appliance,
• Normal user maintenance,
• Setting of controls,
• Transit damage, or
• Damage caused by user misuse, tampering, or failure to observe the care and special provisions in the
instructions.
3. The warranty granted under clause 1 is limited to replacement only. As far as the law permits, We will not be
liable for any consequential loss suffered through, or resulting from, the non operation, or ineffective operation
of the Goods. The warranty granted under clause 1 does not cover damage to the Goods or other loss
resulting from acts of God.
4. No other person, rm or corporation is authorised by us to offer or give on our behalf any other or greater
warranty than that given under this warranty. The benets conferred by this warranty are in favour of You and
any person deriving title to the Goods through or under such person and are intended to be separate from and
additional to all other rights and remedies that they may have in law in respect of the Goods.
5. We are not responsible in any way for any failure and/or inadequate performance of the Goods which arises
from or is connected to the use in the Goods of non-genuine spare parts. We strongly recommend that only
spare parts supplied or approved by us are used in the Goods.
6. In order to claim under the warranty granted under clause 1 You must within the Warranty Period return the
Goods to the Supplier at the place of purchase together with the proof of purchase.
7. Alternatively, you may claim under the warranty granted under clause 1 by within the Warranty Period returning
the Goods to us at the address below together with: (i) a covering letter which states your name and address,
daytime telephone number, and model and serial number of the goods, (ii) the legible and unmodied proof of
purchase, which clearly indicates the name and address of the original retailer, the date and place of purchase,

and the product name or other product serial number, and (iii) a copy of the completed Warranty Information
below.
8. This warranty does not cover the cost of claiming under the warranty, it is your responsibility to cover all
forwarding and freight costs incurred in returning the Goods to the Supplier at the place of purchase or us.
9. This warranty is only valid and enforceable in Australia.
Our liability under this warranty is limited to the extent permitted by law. That is, to the extent that it is fair
and reasonable, if the Goods are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or
consumption, your remedies associated with any failure or defect of the Product will be limited to:
(a) the replacement of the Goods or the supply of equivalent goods;
(b) the repair of the Goods;
(c) the payment of the cost of replacing the Goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; or
(d) the payment of the cost of having the Goods repaired and subject to the terms and conditions included in this
warranty.
