INSTALLATION GUIDE

PACIFIC LAMP MODULE COVER KIT
IMPORTANT NOTE: Before discarding the packaging ensure you have the
cover, M4 washers (2), M5 spring washer, M4 x12 screw and M4 Nylock nut.
Tools Required
1. Philips Screwdriver
2. Needlenose Pliers or M4 Socket Wrench
3. Drill with M5 drillbit
4. Pen or stylus
IMPORTANT NOTE: Before installation, ensure you have a clean flat
surface to work on. Disconnect the luminaire from the mains, and remove
the lamp module. Do not attempt to install the kit if the lamp module is
installed. The Pacific Lamp Module Cover is for fitting to the following lamp
modules only:

1. Remove the lamp from the lamp module. Turn
the peak flat knob anti clockwise until the lampbase
is in the fully flat position. Place upside down on a
clean flat surface. Remove the lamp module handle
by un-screwing the 4 x M4 machine screws shown
in the diagram below. Take care to retain the M4
bolts and M4 lockwashers once fully unscrewed.
2. Remove the lamp module handle, and place on
a clean flat surface. Take the cover plate, and place
in the position shown in the diagram below.
3. Put the pen or stylus through the hole in the
cover and mark the lamp module handle
underneath.
4. Remove the cover plate, and drill through the
lamp module handle where it is marked. Take care
when drilling.
5. Replace the cover plate as shown in the
diagram below, and insert the M4 screw through the
hole.
6. Put the 2 x M4 washers, then the M4 spring
washer over the end of the screw protruding
through the underside of the lamp module handle.
7. Grip the M4 Nylock nut, with the needlenose
pliers or the socket wrench, and place over the M4
screw. Use the Philips screwdriver to tighten the M4
screw and nut until the M4 screw comes out of the
end of the M4 Nylock nut, as shown in the diagram
below.
8. Re-attach the lamp module handle to the lamp
module.
9. The lamp module is now ready to be re-
installed. Remember to replace the lamp, and re-
adjust the peak-flat knob to the desired setting.
