• Do not place hot pans, pots, ceramic or stoneware inserts, etc. directly on the countertop surface.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the wafe maker on a at, level, heat-resistant surface.
2. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet. The light icon will illuminate.
3. Lightly glaze both cooking plates with a small amount of vegetable oil or a non-stick spray, close the lid and allow the wafe maker
to heat.
4. After approximately 3 to 5 minutes, the wafe maker has heated to the proper temperature and is ready for use.
5. Fill measuring cup with ¼ cup of batter. Fill one of the cooking reservoirs with a thin layer of batter, poured from the measuring cup.
If using sticks, place 1 stick on each wafe, aligning stick in the notch on the side of the nonstick plate. Pour remaining batter over
the top of the stick covering all exposed portions of the stick. Repeat in each of the cooking reservoirs.

6
6. Close the lid. Approximate cooking time will be 3 to 6 minutes, depending on ingredients.

5 minutes so the batter will soften. Wipe away with a damp paper towel or soft cloth.

WAFFLE BAKING HINTS AND SUGGESTIONS
• Coat the bottom of each Mickey-shaped cooking reservoir with a thin layer of batter, add the wooden stick, and cover with remaining
batter from provided measuring cup.

7
• The recommended amount of wafe batter for each cooking reservoir is approximately ¼ cup. Use caution not to overll the cooking
reservoirs as sticks may be pushed out due to excess batter expanding.
• After pouring batter into the cooking reservoirs, try not to check the wafes during the rst few minutes. Opening the lid, may cause
the wafe to separate before it is cooked.
• Close the wafe maker lid immediately after removing a wafe to maintain the proper cooking temperature for additional wafes.
• Baked wafes will accumulate steam between them and lose their crispness if stacked or cooled on a solid surface. For best results,
move wafes to a wire cooling rack and do not stack.
• Finished wafes may be kept warm by placing them directly on the rack in a 200°F oven for up to 15 minutes.
• Wafes may also be warmed or reheated by placing them into the preheated wafe maker for 1 to 2 minutes.
• Baked wafes freeze well. Cool completely on wire rack. Store in plastic freezer bag or in covered container, separating wafes with
wax paper. Reheat frozen wafes until hot and crisp.
• Refrigerated batter may need some water or milk added to the mixture, as cold batter can thicken. Cold batter may also require a
longer cooking time to reach the desired doneness. For best results, it is recommended to use room temperature batter.
• When preparing the wafe batter, do not over-mix it or the wafe will become tough and heavy. A few lumps in the batter are OK.
• If batter sticks to nonstick cooking surface, lightly coat the surface with butter or margarine.
• For some added fun, try coating wafes in melted chocolate or white chocolate and then dipping them in sprinkles or topping with
candy or nuts.
