use.
Do
not
use
in
industrial
surroundings
or
outdoors!

Do
not
use
the
appliance

other

intended.

Do
not
spray
the
device
with
water
or
any
other
liquid.
Do
not
submerge
the
appliance
in
water
or
any
other
liquid.

If
you
will
not
be
using
the
product
for
an
extended
period
of
time,
remove
the
batteries.
Otherwise
they
may
leak
inside
the
product
and
cause
irreparable
damage.

Do
not
use
rechargeable
batteries
in
this
product.
INSTRUCTIONS
FOR
USE
Turning
on
for
the
first
time
1)
Remove
the
battery
compartment
cover
on
the
bottom
part
of
the
scale.
2)
Insert
two
AAA
batteries
into
the
battery
compartment.
Place
them
on
top
of
the
removal
strip,
which
will
help
you
take
them
out
later.
Place
them
according
to
the
polarity
(plus
and
minus)
positions
indicated
on
the
bottom
of
the
battery
compartment.
3)
Close
the
cover.
4)
Mount
the
metal
rack
onto
the
wall
or
kitchen
unit
with
the
prongs
pointing
away
from
the
wall.
Use
the
fasteners
and
screws
included.
When
installing
on
drywall
or
similar
material,
use
special
anchoring
material
(not
included).
5)
Hang
the
scale
on
the
rack
by
touching
it
to
the
rack
and
moving
it
downward.
It
will
lock
into
a
secure
position.
6)
Fold
the
weighing
surface
downward.
7)
Turn
the
scale
on
by
pressing
the
"ON/OFF"
button.
The
"HI"
sign
will
appear
on
the
display.
Within
2
seconds,
the
scale
will
be
ready
to
use,
and
the
display
will
show
the
numerical
weight
value.
If
necessary,
you
can
zero
it
out
by
pressing
the
"TARE"
button.
Setting
the
weight
unit
This
scale
can
switch
between
weight
units.
If
you
would
like
to
switch
between
units,
repeatedly
press
the
"UNIT"
button
(ο
--»
lb.oz.).
Note:
W
Weight
units
can
be
changed
only
if
the
scale
is
at
rest.
Query
function
(TARE)
1)
Onto
the
scale,
place
the
container
in
which
you
would
like
to
weigh
the
individual
ingredients
and
press
the
"TARE"
button
to
zero
out
the
display.
2)
Place
the
ingredient
to
be
weighed
inside
the
container.
The
ingredient's
weight
will
appear
on
the
display.
If
you
wish
to
weigh
more
than
one
ingredient
in
the
same
container,
press
the
"TARE"
button
again,
and
then
you
can
weigh
another
ingredient.
Repeat
this
process
as
many
times
as
you
like
until
you
have
weighed
all
of
your
ingredients.

Overload
indicator
If
the
scale
is
overloaded
(max.
capacity
3
kg),
the
display
will
show
the
symbol
"EEEE".
Setting
the
clock
1)
Press
and
hold
the
"SET"
button
for
2
seconds.
The
indicator
"TM"
will
blink
on
the
display.
2)
Set
the
hour
by
repeatedly
pressing
the
"HRS"
button.
3)
Set
the
minutes
by
repeatedly
pressing
the
"MINS"
button.
4)
Press
the
"SET"
button
again.
When
the
"TM"
indicator
stops
blinking,
the
clock
is
set.
5)
The
values
entered
will
be
set
even
if
you
don't
press
the
"SET"
button.
This
will
occur
automatically
after
20
seconds.
Note:

If
you
have
set
the
unit
"g",
the
time
data
will
display
in
a
24-hour
format.

If
you
have
set
the
unit
"Ib",
the
time
data
will
display
in
a
12-hour
format.
Setting
the
timer
1)
Press
the
"SET"
button.
The
display
will
show
the
value
"00:00"
and
the
"TMR"
indicator.
2)
Press
and
hold
the
"SET"
button
for
2
seconds.
The
"TMR"
indicator
will
blink.
3)
Set
the
minutes
by
repeatedly
pressing
the
"HRS"
button.
4)
Set
the
seconds
by
repeatedly
pressing
the
"MINS"
button.
5)
Press
the
"SET"
button
again.
The
"TMR"
indicator
will
stop
blinking,
and
the
entered
time
will
immediately
begin
counting
down.
6)
After
the
countdown
has
ended,
the
scale
will
give
off
an
acoustic
signal
for
20
seconds.
7)
You
can
stop
the
signal
by
pressing
the
"SET",
"HRS"
or
"MINS"
button.
The
scale
will
go
into
standby
mode,
and
the
display
will
show
the
clock.
8)
If
you
don't
stop
the
signal
as
explained
above,
the
scale
will
automatically
go
into
clock
mode
after
40
seconds.
Automatic
shut-off
function
This
scale
is
equipped
with
an
automatic
shut-off
function
that
will
turn
it
off
automatically
if
you
have
not
used
it
for
more
than
one
minute.
The
time
will
appear
on
the
display.
Turning
the
scale
off
manually
Turn
the
scale
off
by
pressing
the
"ON/OFF"
button.
Changing
the
batteries
If
the
display
shows
the
dead
battery
icon,
it is
time
to
change
the
batteries.
1)
Remove
the
battery
compartment
cover
located
on
the
bottom
of
the
scale,
and
remove
the
old
batteries
by
pulling
the
removal
strip.
2)
Remove
the
battery
compartment
cover
on
the
bottom
part
of
the
scale.
3)
Insert
two
AAA
batteries
into
the
battery
compartment.
Place
them
on
top
of
the
removal
strip,
which
will
help
you
take
them
out
later.
Place
them
according
to
the
polarity
(plus
and
minus)
positions
indicated
on
the
bottom
of
the
battery
compartment.
4)
Close
the
cover.
Note:

Ifyou
will
not
be
using
the
scale
for
a
long
time,
always
store
it
in
the
folded
position.
This
is
easier
on
its
very
delicate
sensors.
2)
Do
not
place
or
leave
any
objects
on
the
scale
that
may
put
unnecessary
stress
on
the
sensors.
3)
Strong
electromagnetic
fields
may
negatively
influence
the
weighing
precision.
Do
not
use
the
scale
in
environments
with
strong
magnetic
fields.

CLEANING
AND
MAINTENANCE
To
clean
the
outer
parts
of
the
appliance,
use
a
soft
cloth
dipped
in
lukewarm
water.
Do
not
use
aggressive
cleaning
agents,
paint
thinners
or
solvents.
Using
these
solutions
could
damage
the
surface
of
the
appliance.
DISPOSAL
OF
USED
BATTERIES
This
product
comes
with
alkaline
batteries.
Do
not
place
used
batteries
into
regular
household
waste.
Discard
them
at
facilities
intended
for
disposal
of
used
batteries.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If
the
scale
is
displaying
random
values
or
if
it is
not
turning
off
automatically,
you
need
to
restart
it.
In
such
cases,
remove
the
batteries
for
about
10
seconds
and
place
them
back
again.
The
scale
should
work
normally
again.
