REF 360-0206-01 (REV B)
Gilian 12 Power Module
360-0206-01 - (Rev B)
Introduction:
This accessory replaces the standard battery pack on the Gilian 12 pump. It allows the
system to run from line power for indefinite length sampling. The performance of the
product is as documented for the battery pack, except that power can be supplied
indefinitely. Runtime is only limited by buildup of sample on media or overflow of
measurement displays for time or volume.
Installation:
The product is the same size and shape as the G12 battery pack. It is installed by
removing the battery pack and replacing it with the power supply (see illustrations below). The
power for the product is supplied by power adaptor, part number 298-0018-01-R.
STEP 1
STEP 2
Remove the (2) battery retaining screws
and set aside. Carefully unplug the battery
connector by pulling up on connector
housing.
Avoid exerting any tension on the wires.
If necessary, dispose of battery properly in
accordance with local recycling laws and
regulations.
Verifying that the check (√) mark labeled
side of connector is facing outward and
visible, plug the Power Module connector
into the pump header as shown below. If
connected otherwise, unit will not be
functional.
Avoid exerting any tension on the wires.
Attach Power Module to pump using the
(2) previously removed screws. Insert and
tighten snugly.

Operation:
With the unit installed and plugged in, operation is the same as with a standard battery
supply. To power unit down, Hold Power button until display shows ‘OFF’ which will
continue to display until power down is completed. If power is inadvertently removed
from unit before a complete power down is performed by using the above process, the
unit does have enough power for several seconds of operation to store the run data
before turning off.
