Place the adjustable base box in a desired location
with the bottom of the box facing up. Removethe
binding straps and packing materials, making sure not to
puncture the box with any sharp objects.
Important: Be careful of anypinch points while
unfolding the adjustable base.
To install six legs, screw leg into the tapped holes on the
frame.
Do not over tighten.

B.Re-insert the pinand R clipwith actuator bracket.
Repeat for foot actuator.

Carefully flip the adjustablebase over on toits legs.
Important: Two peopleare required to flipthe
adjustable base. Do notdrag across the floor;do not
rest frame on itsside; excessive pressure may
damage legs.
Plug the power cord into agrounded electrical outlet.
A surgeprotector is stronglyrecommended.

The button cell battery is correctly installed in the
remote. User just needs to pull out insulating strip
and thenremoteis working.
Quickly test functions to verifyproper setup before
placing mattress on adjustable base. Press Head
and Foot down to returnthe adjustable base to a
flat position.
Install the (2) twocorner Retainer Bars tothe foot of
the adjustable base onthe left and righthand sides.
Place your mattress ontop of the adjustablebase.
Adjustable base installation isnow complete.

TROUBLESHOOTING
In theevent youradjustable basefails tooperate, investigate theissuesor concernwith possiblesolutions
provided below:
Adjustablebaseisnot poweringup or working
Remote isnot working or the adjustablebaseis
not responding
Head/Foot Section isnot working,stuck in an
upright position
Checkunder theadjustable baseto verify the
wired connections aresecure.Removeany
obstructions thatmay prevent movement of the
adjustable base.
Plug the adjustable base into a different electrical
outlet, or test the current electrical outlet with
another appliance (a grounded electrical surge
protector is recommended).
The electrical circuit breaker could have tripped
and needs to be re-set.
On your remote,press the head-up and the
foot-up buttonsat the same time.The lighton
the remote will blink to the control box and
actuator, whichare pairedcorrectly.
If the remote control isnot working, please check
the batteries and replace if necessary.
If head or foot sections elevate, but do not return
to the flat position, the bed movement maybe
obstructed.Check and remove those
obstructions.The head section maybe too close
to the wall. If so, pull it out.
Try unplugging the power cord from the electrical
outlet then re-plug.

ADJUSTABLEBASE:1-YEARLIMITEDWARRANTY
SERTA, INC.( Serta ) warrants this Adjustable Base against defects in
material and/or workmanship for the period specified below. The Limited Warranty begins on
the date the adjustable base is delivered to the original purchaser. If defective in material or
workmanship, your Adjustable Base will be replaced, subject to the
limitations described in this warranty.
For one (1) year fromthe date on which theoriginal purchaser took delivery ofa new
Adjustable Base, Serta will replace any adjustable baseSerta determines
to be defective. The replacementAdjustable Base will be shipped to the originalpurchaser free
of charge. To the extent that a remote control or retainer bar is defective, those parts will be
replaced free of charge during theterm of the limited warranty.
The limited warranty on your new Adjustable Base does not cover normal
wear and tear, accidents, abuse orneglect, or damage resultingfrom improper use, care,or
storage. Use of thisAdjustable Basein commercial, nonresidential settingsvoids this limited
warranty.This limited warranty does not coverany mattress that is used withthis Adjustable
Base (refer to the warrantythat was provided with yourmattress).
This product is not ratedto support weights in excessof 650 pounds inclusive ofthe mattress
and bedding. Thebase will structurallysupport this weight,provided it isevenly distributed
across the top surfaceof the bedbase. The adjustablebase is notdesigned to support orlift
this amount inthe head orfoot sections alone.Exceeding this weightrestriction or loading
weight on the bedunevenly could damage thebed and/or cause injuryand will void the
warranty.
Replacement ofthe or itscomponents Underthe termsof thislimited
warranty will applyto the originalwarranty period andwill not serveto extend suchperiod.
The decision to replace adefective Adjustable Base under this warranty
shall be made, or cause tobe made, by Serta at itsoption and in its sole discretion.
This warranty expressly excludes merchandise that is sold AS-IS, distressed, floor model/sample
or display model.
REPLACEMENT PURSUANTTO THETERMS OF THISLIMITED WARRANTYSHALL BETHE SOLE
REMEDY OF THEPURCHASER. THE DURATION OFANYAPPLICABLE IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITEDTO THE IMPLIEDWARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TERM OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. SERTASHALL NOT
