1. Read all i structio s before use a d save for future refere ce.
2. Before usi g the kettle for the first time, remove a d safely discard all
packagi g material a d promotio al labels.
3. The kettle is for household use o ly. Do ot use outdoors.
4. Before co ecti g the kettle to the power supply, check that the
voltage i dicated o the applia ce (u der eath the kettle & base)
correspo ds with the voltage i your home. If this is ot the case,
co tact your dealer a d do ot use the kettle.
5. This applia ce has bee i corporated with a grou ded plug. Please
e sure the wall outlet i your house is well earthed.
6. Do ot let the cord ha g over the edge of a table or cou ter or touch a hot
surface.
7. Do ot place o or ear a hot gas or electric bur er or i a heated ove .
8. Do ot operate the applia ce without a ythi g i it to avoid damagi g
the heat eleme ts.
9. E sure that the kettle is used o a firm a d flat surface out of reach of
childre ; this will preve t the kettle from overtur i g a d preve t
damage or i jury. Do ot move the kettle whilst i operatio .
10. To protect agai st a fire, electric shock or perso al i jury, ever immerse
the kettle, power cord or power base i water. Do ot allow a y moisture
to come i to co tact with these parts.
11. Do ot use a y substa ce other tha water i the kettle.
12. While water is boili g, or just after the water has bee boiled, avoid
co tact with steam from the spout. Do ot ope the lid whilst the water is
boili g. Scaldi g may occur if the lid is removed duri g the brewi g
cycles.
13. Always take care whe pouri g boili g water a d avoid tippi g the kettle
too fast.

14. Be careful of refilli g the kettle whe the kettle is hot. Do ot overfill
kettle as boili g water may spill out.

use.
19. The use of accessories, which are ot recomme ded by the applia ce
ma ufacturer, may result i fire, electric shock or perso al i jury.
20. Extreme cautio must be used whe movi g a y applia ce co tai i g
hot water.
21. U plug the kettle from the outlet whe ot i use a d before clea i g.
Allow the kettle to cool before putti g o or taki g off parts, a d before
clea i g the applia ce.
22. To disco ect, tur a y co trol to “off,” the remove plug from wall outlet.
23. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the ma ufacturer
or its service age t or a similarly qualified perso i order to avoid a
hazard.
24. Do ot operate the kettle o a i cli ed pla e. Do ot operate the kettle
u less the eleme t is fully immersed. Do ot move the kettle, whilst it is
switched o .

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE
If you are usi g the kettle for the first time, it is recomme ded that you should
clea your kettle before use by boili g a full kettle of water twice a d the
discardi g the water. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth.
NOTE: The max capacity of kettle is 1.0L.
OPERATION OF YOUR KETTLE
1. To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base a d ope the lid by
pressi g the ope lid butto backwards a d lifti g it. Fill with the desired
amou t of water a d the close the lid. Alter atively, the kettle may be
filled through the spout. The water level should ot exceed the MAX mark
or sit below the MIN mark. Too little water will result i the kettle switchi g
off before the water has boiled.
NOTE:
i. Do ot fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the

ii. After pressi g the ope lid butto , the lid will spri g to the stated a gle
first, the you ca lift ope the lid to the maximum ope i g positio . This
desig uses less force a d helps to reduce hot water drippi g.
2. Positio the kettle o the power base.
3. Co ect the plug i to a power outlet. Tur o the switch by pressi g it,
the i dicator will light up. The kettle will start to boil the water a d will
switch off automatically o ce the water has boiled. You ca shut off the
power by tur i g off the switch at a y mome t duri g boili g water. If you
wa t to boil water agai , o ly tur o the switch directly to restart the
kettle.
NOTE: E sure that switch is free of obstructio s a d the lid is firmly closed,
the kettle will ot tur off if the switch is co strai ed or if the lid is ope .
4. Lift the kettle, usi g the ha dle from the power base a d the pour the
water.
NOTE: Always take care whe pouri g boili g water a d avoid tippi g the
kettle too fast.
5. The kettle will ot re-boil u til the switch is pressed agai . The kettle may
be stored o the power base whe ot i use.
NOTE: Always disco ect the power supply whe ot i use.
BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
Should you accide tally operate the kettle without water; the boil-dry
protectio will automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle
to cool before filli g with cold water before re-boili g.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always disco ect the applia ce from the power outlet before clea i g.
1. Never immerse the kettle, power cord or power base i water or allow
moisture to come i to co tact with these parts.

2. Wipe the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth or a mild deterge t. Do
ot use alkali e based clea i g products.
3. Remember to clea the mesh filter at i tervals. For easier clea i g,
disco ect from a y power, the detach the filter by ge tly pulli g it out.
Replace the filter after clea i g.
4. Whe ot use or for easy storage, the power cord may be wou d u der
the bottom of kettle.
