CLEANING METHODS
The Ultrasonic Eyeglass Cleaner can be used for a variety of cleaning needs, with these 3
methods:
1. General Cleaning - Use plain tap water for a brisk cleaning.
2. Enhanced Cleaning – Add a few drops of mild soap or dish soap to help remove grease,
makeup and oil.
3. Partial Cleaning – To clean parts of large items, the device can be used with the lid open.
CLEANING WATCHBANDS
Use the included watch shelf for cleaning metal watchbands. First, place the watch shelf into
the basket. Place the watch on the watch shelf, with the case (housing) facing up. Lower the
shelf into the container which is filled with water. Select a timer duration and press power. Allow
the watch band to dry fully after cleaning.
NOTE: To prevent damaging the watch, do not submerge the case (housing) in water.
CLEANING JEWELRY
This device can be used to clean metal jewelry, including necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets
and more.
Place jewelry to be cleaned into the basket. Lower the basket into the tank, which is filled
with water. Add a drop of mild dish soap to help remove grease, oil or makeup. Select a timer
duration and press power. Dry your jewelry with a soft, dry cloth.
IMPORTANT: Ultrasonic cleaning is considered safe for gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, rubies,
sapphires, amethyst and citrine (yellow quartz) pieces. It is NOT suitable for soft, water porous
stones, such as pearls, opals, turquoise, amber and ivory. Do not use this device with antique
jewelry, enamel jewelry, paste jewelry, costume jewelry or any jewelry containing stones that
have been set with glue. Consult a jewelry expert before cleaning any jewelry with an ultrasonic
device.
OTHER USES
• Metal items (coins, medals, badges, valves, eating utensils, etc.)
• Writing materials (pen nibs, ballpoint pen sleeves, printer nozzles, signature stamps, etc.)
• Personal hygiene items (toothbrushes, false teeth, razor blades, etc.)
NOTE: The following items are NOT suitable for ultrasonic cleaning: wood, real pearls, leather
goods, clock/watch mechanisms.
