SK-500II syringepumpisaneconomicalproductofintellectualization,collectivizationandhi-tech

1. Themicrocomputersystem:the “brain”ofthewholesystem,givingintellectualizedcontroland
managementoverthewholesystemandprocessing thedetectedsignals.Thetwosingle-chip
Micyoco(SCM)systemsareusedformutualbackupcopyandsupervision.WhenoneSCM
goeswrong,theotheronewill giveanimmediatewarningsignalandcutthepowerofthehost
computer, whichwillthenstop completely, thusensuringpatient ssafety.
2. Thepump device:the “heart”ofthewholesystemandthemaindrivingforceoftheinjection.
Drivenbysteppermotor,theleadscrewmovestheinjectionpistonforward.
3. Theinspectiondevice:variouskindsofsensors,suchasdisplacementsensor(detecting liquid
flowrateandflowvolume),pressuresensor(detectingpipeocclusion),etc.Theycangive

shownindiagram5.Thereisalock-like'icon' intheupperrightofLCDasshowninFigure5,and
it islockedbydefault statusaftereachtimeofturnon.Inthestatewecannotsetthefive
parametersof"5mlsyringes""10mlsyringes""20mlsyringes""30 mlsyringes""50 mlSyringe".
Onsettingsmenuscreen,press “BOLUS”keyinlockconditiontoenterintounlockstate,thenwe
cansetthesyringeparameters.Andwealsocanpress “BOLUS”inunlockstatetoenterintolock
condition.
Changetheparametersvalueofshownindiagram5:Turntheknob toadjustthecursortothe
parametersneededtobeset,andthenpress theknobtolettheparametersanti-marked.Thenturn
theknob againtoadjusttheparametersvalue,atlastpresstheknobtoconfirmthefinalparameters
andsave.Afterall settings, press “Clear”+ “Set”togobacktothestopcondition.

knob,turnthecodertoset, presstheadjustingknobagaintosavetheparameternewlyset.

2.6Otheroperation
1. Run:press STOPkeytobegininjectionaftersetting parametersinstopconditionormode

2. Bolusfunction:keeppressingtheBOLUSkeyduringinjection,themachinewillinjectatthe
maximum rate,backtooriginalspeedafterreleasing theboluskey.
3. Stop:press theSTOPkeyundermainmenuorsensorvaluetochecktheinterface.
4. Clearaccumulation:clearaccumulationbypressing CLEARkeyinstopcondition.
5. Turnon/offthepump:press thePOWERkeyfortwosecondswhenthepumpisoff toturnon
thesyringepump. Whenthepump ison,keeppressing the ‘power keyfor3-5secondsandthen
releaseafterhearing 3sounds,thenitisoff.
6. Nightvisionoperation:keeppressingPOWERkeyuntilhearing asound,thenightvision
situationchanges.

(4)Pullthepistontotheplace wherethesyringecanbeconnectedandthenloosentheclutch;
(5)Turnthecompressionstrutofthesyringearound90°andthenletgoofit.Whenthe

syringewill beon.

Step5Clearaccumulation
(1) Makesurethepump isinstop condition
(2) Press"CLEAR"keytoeliminatetheaccumulatedvolume.
Note:accumulationnumbercanbeobservableonlyininjectionconditionandbeeliminated
onlyinstopcondition.
Step6Starttheinjection
(1) Confirmtheinstallationandthenumericalvaluesetting, andmakesurethecorresponding
syringeindicatorlightison.
(2) Press STARTkey,thesyringepumpstartsworking.Therightbelowsideofthescreen
displaysthe ‘injection condition.
Attention: If theaccumulatedinjectionvolumeisnotneeded,press CLEARkeybefore
pressingSTART keytolettheformeraccumulatedvolumereturnto “0”.
Thefastertheindicatorlightflashesthequickeroftheinjectionrate.
Step7Operation
During theoperationprocess, The3operationindicatorlightswillflashalternatelyfromleftto
right.Press SET+STOPkeystoenterthesensorvaluechecking interfacetocheckthelong
potentiometervalue,shortpotentiometervalue,pressuresensorvalueandpowervalue.Press
SET +STOPkeyandreturntotheoriginalinterface.
KeeppressingtheBOLUSkeyduringinjection,themachinewillinjectatthemaximum rate,
backtooriginalspeedafterreleasingthiskey.

Step8Injectioncompletion
(1) Whentheinjectionisnearcompletion,thealarmindicatorlightflashesandLCDscreen
displays ‘NEAR toremindtheuserthattheinjectionwill completesoon.
Attention: presstheknobtostopalarmbutit soundsagainintwominutes.
(2) Whentheinjectionisfinished,thepumpstopsoperationsandinthemeanwhilethe
indicatorlightflashes. LCDdisplays"COMPLETION"toremindtheuserthattheinjection
isfinished.
Attention: presstheknobtostopalarm. Itwillsoundagainaftertwominutes.
Step9Turnoffthepower
Press "POWER"for3-5secondsandthenreleaseit, themachineispoweroff.
3.2StartBolus
During theinjectionprocess,ifyouneedamomentoffasterinjection,youcanstartbolusfunction
bykeeppressingtheBOLUSkeyasshownindiagram22,thepumpshallbegininjectionatthe
fastestrate.Itwillgobacktotheoriginalrateafterreleasing BOLUSkey.
