1.General Description

Forbiddentoprocessflammableortoxicmaterial!
SG-24Tseriesgranulatoroperateinsuperlowspeed tocutmaterialsinto
well-proportionedgranules.Thereareleastdustsproducedinthecuttingprocess.
Multiplesecuritydevicesensurehighsafetygrade; automaticreverserunning
functionensurescontinuousoperation.Thisseriesofscreenless granulatorare
suitableforgranulatinghardandthick materials. ForSG-24Tseries, therearetwo
gearmotorsandtwocuttingchamberstoworksimultaneously.Itcan granulatethe
spruesand wastematerial, alsoiscapableof granulatinglongandthinortough
sprues.

●SG-24TserieshavetwoGerman-madegearmotorsandtwocutting
chambersworkingsimultaneouslytoprovide reliableperformanceand high
torque.
●SG-24Tseriesfeatureintegraldesignofdoubleteethcuttersand cutting
blades. Staggered bladesmaketheinitialcuttingand teethcuttersreduce
the materialsintodesired size. Regrindscouldbeusedwithvirginmaterials.
●New-type inclined teethcutterreducesthepossibilityofstress concentration,
enhancebearingcapacityand convertsforcedirectionsothat cutterlifespan
can beprolonged.
●SG-24Tseriesmotorshaftandrotorshaftareconnectedbyshaft coupling
thusensuringsmoothcuttingactionand convenient motorreplacement.
●Whenmotorblockageoccurs, themachinewill alarmvisiblyand enable
motorforunreversely. It resumesnormaloperation automaticallyafterthe
troubleisclear.

personalinjuryand damagetomachine.Weshall not beliableforanydamage
causedbyunauthorized changeof themachine.

Beforethegranulatorisopened forservicing andmaintenance,always
disconnect the powerwithboththe mainswitchandthe controlswitchon
the granulator.
Neverput anypartofyourbodythroughthe granulatoropenings, unless
boththemainswitchand the controlswitchonthegranulatorarein
"OFF"position.

1.4.2Transportation andStorageoftheMachine
Transportation
1)SG-24Tseriesof granulatorarepacked inplywood caseswithwoodenpallet
at thebottom,suitableforquick positioningbyforklift.
2)Afterunpacked, castorsequipped on the machinecan be usedforeaseof
movement.
3)Donot rotatethemachineandavoidcollision withotherobjectsduring
transportationtoprevent improperfunctioning.
4)The structureofthe machine iswell-balanced,althoughit shouldalsobe
handled withcarewhenliftingthemachineforfearoffallingdown.
5)The machine anditsattachedpartscanbekeptat atemperaturefrom-25℃
to+55℃forlongdistancetransportationandforashort distance, itcan be
transported withtemperatureunder+70℃.
Storage
1)SG-24Tseriesshouldbe storedindoorswithtemperaturekeptfrom5℃to40
℃and humiditybelow80%.
2)Disconnect all powersupplyand turnoffmainswitchand exigencystop
switch.
3)Keepthe wholemachine,especiallythe electricalcomponentsawayfrom
watertoavoidpotentialtroublescaused bythe water.

4)Useplasticfilmtocoverthemachinetightlytopreventthemachine fromdust
and rains.
Workingenvironment
Themachineshouldbeoperated:
1)Indoorsinadryenvironment withmax. temperature+45℃and humidityno
morethan80%.
Donotusethemachine:
1)Ifit iswithadamaged cord.
2)Onawet floororwhen it isexposed toraintoavoidelectricshock.
3)Ifithasbeendropped ordamaged until it ischeckedorfixed bya
qualifiedserviceman.
4)Thisequipment works normallyinthe environmentwithaltitudeover
3000m.
5)At least 1msurroundingspaceisrequestedwhen thisequipmentis
running. Keep thisequipmentawayfromflammablesourcesatleast
twometers.
6)Inthe workarea ofvibration andstrongmagneticforce.
Rejectedpartsdisposal
When the equipmenthasrun out itslifetimeand can notbe usedanymore,
unplugthepowersupplyand disposeof it properlyaccordingtolocalcode.

1.5 Exemption Clause
Thefollowingstatementsclarifytheresponsibilitiesandregulationsbornbyany
buyeroruserwho purchasesproductsandaccessoriesfromShini(including
employeesandagents).
Shiniisexempted fromliabilityforanycosts,fees,claimsandlossescausedby
reasonsbelow:
1. Anycarelessorman-madeinstallations,operation andmaintenancesupon
machineswithoutreferringtothe Manualpriortomachineusing.
2. Anyincidentsbeyondhumanreasonablecontrols, whichincludeman-made
viciousordeliberatedamagesorabnormalpower,and machine faultscaused
byirresistiblenaturaldisastersincludingfire,flood,stormand earthquake.
3. Anyoperationalactionsthatarenotauthorized byShiniuponmachine,
includingaddingorreplacingaccessories, dismantling,deliveringorrepairing.
4. Employingconsumablesoroil mediathatarenotappointed byShini.

2.Structural Features and Working Principle
2.1GeneralDescription
SG-24Nseriesarebelongto"bythe machine"granulator, whicharedesigned
forgrindingsmall volumeofplasticwaste. Donotfeed excessivematerials
duringgranulation.Thegranulatorarecontrolled bymainpowerswitch,
emergencystopbutton, startbutton,stopbutton and safetyswitches.

Thematerialisfedinviaafeedbox(A)andfallsdowntotheteethcutters(B),
the blockmaterialiscuttedbythe staggered(C) andfixed blades(E),thenthe
materialiscuttedintogranuleby(B)and(E).Thegranuledirectlyfall intothe
storagebin(F),itdoesnotneedthescreen.Thecuttingchamberiseasyto
openforcleaningandmaintenance.Afterthis,thegranulateisreadyforre-use
intheproductionmachine, ortobetransportedtoacontainerforlateruse.
2.2SafetySystem

Toavoidaccidentalbodilyinjuryduringgranulatorrunning, aset of safety
systemhasbeen designed.
High-speed rotatingcutterislocated inthegranulatorand subjecttoaccident.
Sosafetysystemhasbeensetuptoprotectbodilysafety.
Inanycases, the safetysystemcannotbechanged at random. Otherwisethe
machine will be underdangerouscondition and subjecttoaccidenthappening.
Themaintenanceandpreservation of safetysystemshall bedoneby
professionalstaff.
Incasethesafetysystemofgranulatorischanged, ourcompanywillnot
perform ourcommitment. Thereplacement of all sparepartswill be doneby
SHINI Company.

2.2.1EmergencyStop
Thereisoneredbuttononthecontrolpanel.Uponpushingit,themachinewill
stop running.Turnthebutton inthearrowdirection asshownonthe button,the
button will reset (counter-clockwise).

2.2.2SafetySwitch
Onthegranulatorisequipped the safetyposition switchforcircuitbreaker.In
casetheposition offeed boxischanged orthe breakerisloosened,itwill cut
offthe powersupply.
Therearetwosafetyswitcheson thegranulator:one islocatedbetween the
feedboxandthecuttingchamberwhiletheotheroneisbetween the storage
binand machine body.
2.2.3GateLock
Foropeningfeedboxand cuttingchamber,usersneedtoloosen alongstar
screw(gatelock).Ittakessometimetounscrewthe lock tocompletelystop
cuttershaftandavoidpersonalinjuries.
Noticebeforestartup:
1)Check iffeedboxistightened.
2)Closefeed boxandtighten starscrew.
3)Check ifplugofstoragebinsafetyswitchistightened
