1. General Description
Read thismanualcarefullybeforeoperationtopreventdamageofthe
machine orpersonalinjuries.
ShiniCooling/HeatingTemperatureControllersSTMC-Wconsist ofthe mould
temperaturecontrollerand waterchillerfunctions, whichcanheatupthe moulds
and cooldownthe productssimultaneously.
a.WaterChillersection
Therefrigeration systemadoptsthesingle-stagevaporcompressioncircuit, and
hasthe compressoroverload protection,pumpoverload protection, reversephase
warning, anti-freezingprotection,andhigh/lowpressureprotectorthat ensure
stablemachineperformanceand longservicelife. It isapplicabletothe cooling
occasionsinthemodernindustrythat isnot subjecttothe impact ofenvironment
temperature, whichisan indispensableconfiguration device. TheBangpu
temperaturecontrollercan ensurestabletemperaturecontrolwithinthe control
accuracyof 1, and displayaccuracyof 0.1 。
b.WaterHeatersection:
Used toheatupthe mouldand maintaintemperature,althoughtheycan be used in
othersimilarapplications.Hightemperaturewaterfromthe mouldisreturnedtothe
coolingtankandcooledbyeitherindirect cooling(Forhightemperaturemodels)or
direct cooling(forstandardmodels). It isthen pressurised bythe high-pressure
pump,senttotheheatingtankandfinallytothemouldwithaconstanttemperature.
TheHANYOUNG temperaturecontrollercanmaintainan accuracyof 1 .
All serviceworkshouldbe carried out byaperson withtechnicaltrainingor
correspondingprofessionalexperience.The manualcontainsinstructionsforboth
handlingand servicing.Chapter6, whichcontainsserviceinstructionsintendedfor
serviceengineers. Otherchapterscontaininstructionsforthedailyoperator.
Anymodificationsofthemachinemustbe approved bySHINI inordertoavoid

personalinjuryand damagetomachine.Weshall not beliableforanydamage
causedbyunauthorized changeof themachine.

1.3 Pipelineconnection
Warning!
When the ambienttemperatureisbelow5, the machine will stop.Please
drainagethe waterinthe watertankand evaporator,especiallyinthe evaporator.If
the ambienttemperatureistoo low, the coppertubeinevaporatorwill be frozen.
1.4 SafetyRegulations
Theusermust conformtothefollowingsafetyruleswhen operatingthe
machine.
1.4.1 SafetySignsand Labels
Danger!
Theunit isdesigned toendurehightemp,andhighpressure. Forsafeoperation,
do not removethe coversorswitches.
Attention!
Theunit shouldbe operated byqualifiedpersonnelonly.
Duringoperation, avoidwearingglovesorclothesthatmaycausedanger.
Turnoff mainswitchwhen powersupplyisoff.
Stop theunitwhen theremaybepowersupplyproblemscausedbystatic
electricity.
Put onsafetyglovesand shoesduringinstallation orrelocation.
Componentsfromourcompanycan onlybe used forreplacement.

1.4.3 OperationNotices
1)Beforeoperation, checkwhetherthecoolingwaterand mediumliquidisthe
clean waterwithout impuritiesordrinkingwatermeetsthe standard.
※When thewaterqualityisbad,it’seasytocausefailuresduetothescaleand
otherreasons.
※If thewaterqualityisnot good, itwill breakthe heatingpipe,damagethe
pumpimpellerand reducethe flowrate, resultinginthetemperaturecan not
rise.

2)If thedrainageisnot smoothorthetemperaturecontroleffect ispoor, please
clean the solenoidvalveimmediatelyorcheckwhetherthereisblockageinthe
coolingwaterinlet andoutlet.
3)Themachinewill generatehightemperaturewhen running, sodon’ttouchthe
hightemperaturepartwhen running.
4)Duringrepair, thetemperaturemust becooledtobelow30℃.
5)Cooldownthetemperaturebelow50℃beforemachineshutdown, then itcan
shutdownthepump; otherwise, it willaffect the servicelifeof thepump.
6)Astoensurethestabilityofheatingtemperature,and the pressureofcoldwater
pumpshouldbe2-5bar.
7)Ifthetemperatureisabove100℃,the coolwateroutletmustbeconnected with
the hightemperatureresistantpipe.
8)If thetemperatureisbelow100 ℃, itcan setthe value ofpressureswitchto
1.5~2bar; If thetemperatureisabove100 ℃,the recommended pressure
value is2.8bar.
9)If thefirst start orcoldwaterpumpstopsrunning, the mouldtemperature
controllerwill sound lowpressurealarmwhenstart,whichrequiresmanual
reset of thehighand lowpressurecontrollerthat can operatethe machineunit.

2. Strutural Features and Working Principle
2.1 Functional Description
ShiniCooling/HeatingTemperatureControllersSTMC-Wisthetemperature
chamberthatintegratesthe heatingandcoolingfunctions.Themachine can offer
agroup of chilledwaterintemp. rangeof(7~35℃)andtwogroupsofhotwater
temp. inrangeof(10~120℃).
2.1.1 WorkingPrinciple

WaterChillersection:mainlyconsistsofthe compressor, condenser, evaporator
and thermostaticexpansion valve. Adopt the single-polevaporcompression
refrigerationsystem,and usethe gas-liquidmutualtransformationofthe
refrigerantstoachievethe coolingeffectbasedon theheatabsorptionand release
principle.

MouldTemperatureControllersection:Adoptthe waterchillertoprovide the
coolingwater, heatingtubeandpumppressurized cyclefortheconstant

2. Query/Reset Fault
Incaseoffault,the alarmscreen willautomaticallypop up.Theoperation
detailsofqueryand resetfaultsareasfollows:

Pumprotatingdirectionshouldbecorrect.
Attention!
Beforestartingthesystem,makesurethat coolingwaterpumpisturned on.
Check thewatertankofthechiller. Donot start the machinewhen thereisno
waterleft inwatertank.Weshall notbe liableforanydamagescaused bythis
reason.

Inordertoreducethepossibilitiesofmachinedamageand prolongthe life,start
the machine withcorrect methods.
Attention!
Thecompressorcan'tbe started frequentlybecauseof itscharacteristics
(Frequent start will shorten itsservicelife.). Ifemergencyshut-downhappens,
the compressorwill runagain3minuteslater.
3.5 Startup
1)Openthemainpowerswitch.
2)Setthetemperatureofchillingwater(ifthe temp. hasalreadybeenset,omit
thisstep).Theminimumtemperatureof thisseriesmachineshouldbe set as
7.
3)Press buttontostart the waterpump.
4)Press buttontostart the compressor.
3.6 Shutdown
1)Turnoff theswitchofcompressor.
2)Turnoff thepumpswitch. Ifitadoptsthequick moldingcycleandlowcooling
watertemperature, keep continuousrunningofwaterpumptill the mould
temperaturerisestonon-condensatedtemperature, thenturnoff the pump
switch.
3)Switchthe mainpowerswitchtoOFF position.

When mainpowerswitchisatONposition,pleasebe carefultheelectricshock!
